UPDATED WITH VIDEO!! Comic Con: A Bit More Herculean Twittering, This Time From Saturday’s HEROES Panel!!
SPOILER ALERT !!
I am – Hercules!!
My live Twitter report from the “Heroes” panel Saturday afternoon, ultragonzo-style with most typos and horrible punctuation fully intact:
I think Kring ditched his facial hair : he looks like dave foley
Claire will discover she’s kinda famous
Swoosie will be back
Jack coleman looks like henry Rollins
Hiro will get a deadly illness and start a business with ando.
Sylar will be both in nathan's body and matt's head
Peter will allegedly grow a sense of humor (claims Ventimiglia)
Everyone in this room except me seems desperate to bone Milo
I curse the con organizer who failed to seat Hayden next to Madeline Zima (Zima’s character will be hot for Claire).
Hiro's time travel powers will go out of control as he pursues his bucket list.
Nathan gets new powers pasdar can't talk about
Sylar gets to crawl out of a grave this year
Looks like they're gonna spend a lot of fucking time at that carnival this year
I wonder where they got the idea of sticking people with superpowers in a carnival?
Couldn't they have switched it up a little and made them work at six flags?

Cancel this fucking show already. The strong showing at today's comic-con makes it look even more pathetic than it already is. Anyone who disagrees simply wants to see Claire kiss another girl. Surely we should expect more from the 4th season of a TV show?!
-
Jul 25, 2009 8:29:17 PM CDT
Herc, you're just the 2nd media guy to report from this...
by pennsydeux
Thanks. And there's not a gods damned thing in that report that would make me break my Heroes boycott. Not one. And 'Carnivale', anyone??
-
You know, Barf and almost every adult male on "You Can't do That on Television." Show some respect or Moose will get you.
-
Talk about irrelevant.
-
The Claire lesbo thing sounds like a ratings catcher. The Sylar/Peter thing is their jump the shark moment. I figure since this is a short season ie done by December instead of May, we will see the Sylar issue resolved. I am betting Sylar dies this season, so Zach go be Spock for the next two Trek films. However, this will be the last season thanks to internet bitching and the ratings not being updated to count DVRs.
-
now that is news
-
zima and panitierre bang on screen?
-
When the ratings were nosediving and they thought it would get people back watching? That's all this is. They're like the AL and NL in the 2002 All-Star Game (?) and neither have any pitchers left in their bullpens. And soon, like that game, this show will be called/cancelled.
-
right before the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
-
Just to clarify.
-
Sadly, it seems that this is all that it's good for.
-
No one haven't even cared since the 2nd season!
-
Man he's a movie star now, is probably getting offers. Bail out of this sinking ship while you can.
-
Caught that. At least I hope that's what you were aiming at.
-
I did.
-
but i think kring needs to be wary of his future last year people stayed overnight to lineup for the panel...this year, nary a buzz...and i have a feeling that the hall was not full no fuller, no beaman (who is off to melrose place), no zack as a draw...hayden is losing her cuteness now that she is no longer a virgin, and the writing staff still sux....the show will not be back after midseason
-
the extras. And with getting the complete BSG on Blu-Ray Tuesday (I have $120 in Reward Zone certificates ready and waiting to slice Best Buy's $209 price for it in half), I guess I better watch it tomorrow, then. :)
-
Ratings were beginning to decline, so Josh Schwartz (the showrunner of Chuck and Gossip Girl) decided Marissa should have a lesbian fling in season 2. During sweeps, no less.
-
that started around 11PM Friday night. I think this was on the 9th Wonders forums. From Digital Spy and Herc, it seems that things went relatively well, and that Kring didn't face a pitchforks and torches-type crowd. Nary a word, apparently about season 3's many faults.
-
that midget bitch is NOT that hot. cute? sure, but no hot. they picked a fuckin midget cuz the only roles she could believably pass off are high school girls. shes a rude bitch. Heroes jumped the shark many moons ago.

And does anyone care about Heroes anymore? I mean, I REALLY enjoyed the first season, but every episode since reeaaaallllly tries my patience. And this is coming from someone that enjoyed BOTH Transformers films.
-
Do wha? It'd be crazy if Parkman actually just switched consciousnesses.
-
I don't recall ever hearing anything about HEROES and a Carnival. Not until the LOST panel unveiled the final pages of the series finale, that is.
-
Oh, how the once mighty have fallen. :(
-
Fugitives arc.
-
First off, how did you get banned? And when? Secondly, she's the same actress that played The Sheriff of the Others in LOST. Cool. And third, that was the most useless episode of the last season of Heroes. It had nothing to do with the overall plot and ended up being very schmaltzy. It had great potential that it fell far short of it. I was very disappointed by the end.
-
and did he use my question to hayden? if he didnt here it is how does it feel being the workds mightiest and sexiest midget
-
just proves that howard stern was right...lesbians equal ratings
-
is NOT TV's sexiest midget. Meredith Eaton (Boston Legal) is. She has to be Eaton because she'd break if you fucter.
-
to continue watching this show.
-
If it was canceled mid-way through Season 1, people would still have fond memories of it. This show now is the Final 5 jumping the shark with a new baby brother inside a nuked fridge.
-

Funny how this chucklehead was at a panel no one gives 2 fucks a
by razorback
And every other real entertainment journalist was covering CHUCK.
-
you are right...and she looks a little like the porn star, brdget the midget but she is now married to a normal sized guy, and im sure he fucks her...so no fear of her breakin
-
I still shouldn't watch this show?
-
...including those in the biz...I kinda feel bad for Kring. Oh wait, no, I don't. When the Captain, against the advice of his senior officers, decides to navigate into icy waters, he must go down with the ship.
-
Herc's still a terrible writer (what, you couldn't post an article?), and I'm still pumped for S4. I expect flames, but the 'begrudging' posting about Heroes from people who hate the show is great. YOUR responses lead that cretin Herc to make TBs... which you then decry.
-
Heroes or twitter? Or someone who writes articles on their web page reporting on an event and brags that they're "tweeting"?
-
Jul 26, 2009 5:34:40 AM CDT
E! did cover it (or did G4 write their story for them)? and ...

reaction to the season 4 trailer was, in their words, 'mixed'. And apparently Hayden went roll-eyes-o-rama whenever the focus shifted to her ex-boyfriend, Milo Ventimiglia.

chewyou812, Twitter. 15 year olds hate it, old men use it.
by evilwizardglick
In case you missed it.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2009/jul/13/twitter-teenage-media-habits
Twitter is not for teens, Morgan Stanley told by 15-year-old expert
"Teenagers do not use Twitter," he wrote. "Most have signed up to the service, but then just leave it as they realise that they are not going to update it (mostly because texting Twitter uses up credit, and they would rather text friends with that credit). They realise that no one is viewing their profile, so their tweets are pointless." -
...for, like, 2 or 3 days.
-
I'm not sure if Angela's sister's character name is Swoozie, but the actress that played the sister (and the Sheriff on Lost) was Diana Scarwid. Swoozie Kurtz was on Lost, but she played Locke's mom. Also, I'm afraid Heroes has too steep of a climb to get back to being anything worth watching on a regular basis. This Hiro "bucket list" storyline sounds cloying and irritating already.
-
Twitter is the single most retarded internet fad in a decade. And Heroes is a joke... a car wreck you drive by yet can't turn away from! My friends and I still watch it but we do so to mock it. Have a few beers and say things like "They stole that plot point from X-Men # whatever" or "If he escaped from his cell by phasing through the wall why can't he just phase through the safe door to get the virus?" Utter mental retardation. It's like the Special Olympics of genre television. And us nerds keep watching and cheering because we'd feel bad if we didn't.
-
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
Even your vague descriptions of the panel's vague teasers make it sound painful. I'm surprised it took me an entire season to realize just how badly this show sucks.
-
... when it's usage almost overthrew the government of Iran... for about 2 or 3 days.
-
Considering 99% of all you adolescent shit talkers here are either right in front of it on Monday night or at least putting it on your DVR, I find it pretty amusing to watch your oh-so-tough "I hate it so much!" talkbacks.
Face it, dipshits, Heroes is still better than 80% of ANYTHING else on TV.
Of course, you're welcome to reality programming and the CW if that floats your boat more...keep up with your Heroes hate though, it's just oh so trendy to do here...
LMAO -
So, RDM, what do you REALLY think of the Emmys? http://tinyurl.com/km3h8v
-
...she really grew up to be quite the little bitch, didn't she? And what with the misspelled tattoo, is beginning to rival Paris Hilton and Britney in overall stupidity/skankiness. Down here in the South, we have a phrase that seems appropriate: "Hoe Dawg"!
-
Moldova had effective Twitter usage.
Iran was a Psyop, probably CIA maybe Mossad. A few rich city dwellers do not a revolution make. A had the majority of Iranians on his side, the previous vote had the same percentage breakdown and a pre-election independent survey had him at %62 of the vote.
Iran and child porn are the new black ops mainstays. We need that war to pull us out of the depression. Anyone who disagrees will be found to have child porn on his person. -
I could care less who uses twitter, let alone how old the duche bags who use it are. The only thing more annoying than someone "tweeting", is someone boasting about their "tweeting". Enter Ashton Kutcher . . .
-
are they even trying anymore?
-
Seriously. For the first two seasons, I was hear argueing in defense of the show. I watched every episode. Even when it started to wane, my theory was, any superhero TV show is better than none right. Wrong.
The truth is every season after the first is just a jumbled mess of plot points. And just when you think it is going to add up to a big spectacle fight scene. They cop out. Like copping out is part of their style. Literally how many times has a fucking door slammed closed just as two heroes were about to go all out. And all we get is a shaky door, some sound effects, and a dude shining flashlights under the door. Fuck that. If you don't have the budget, don't do the show. I'm not a big Smallville fan, but they have maybe half of Heroes budget and still at least try to bust out some sickness every once and a while. I just don't give a fuck about these characters any more. Why? Because they are different characters every week. The writers have no sense of consistency to the point of head-spinning infuriation. So as a former devoted fan. Please NBC, cancel this shit. It's played. -
With Tom Welling in da house. http://tinyurl.com/mz7fpe
-
Heroes had great potential, but it was squandered. That's why there's so much hate piled on it. Make no mistake, Heroes earned every ounce of scorn it gets.
-
Park-man and Syl-arr will be talking to one another under a burning circus tent.
So, why watch this show if you know how it is going to end? -
http://tinyurl.com/n6afrk - 75 fans showed up in a 2,400 seat ballroom. Heaton was excused by the studio from attending once they saw what they were dealing with.
-
"Everything New is New Again"; I think they're going the 5-years-ahead route like Desperate Housewives and One Tree Hill did. Then at the top of next hour, BBC America's Being Human/Torchwood COE ends the TV schedule.
-
Huh, I figured it was finally over and done with. I tuned out when Parkman had on a Walkman in Africa painting on a rock. Hopefully it got better.

and clairs old soiled panties
Close the door on this busted series -
they shouldve booked the ballroom for more than one preview i think its a good idea to get some things offsite to lessen crowds, but do it in a way that people are used to it
-
Thanks for that link, I was dying to hear what they said on that panel and cannot wait to see this season.

Sam Ferris confirmed a couple weeks back
Total babe
Hope her theme is Bad to the Bone -
It didn't. What's the word for an ongoing anticlimax?

Why was the story about Clark wearing a costume in season 9 deleted????
-
Sounded awesome. God, I hope NY Comic Con gets as big as San Diego so we can get panels like that!!!
-
http://tinyurl.com/lr3m8k And because YOU DEMANDED IT, a 'GW' video game is in the works, along with a comic book series created by Jennifer Love Hewitt and IDW Publishing - 'The Music Box'. It's not strictly Ghost Whisperer-based, but it's Hewitt's baby. The 10-issue anthology series details a music box that causes strange occurrences for the people who possess it.
-
That's it for now.
-
I loved the first season, all of it. Thought the second season got off to a slow start, although I gave them some slack for it because they were trying to do a slow build up like they did in season 1 and it wasn't necessary - trial and error, though, and then the writer's strike threw a big wrench in it all. Thought season 3 was off to a different start, until it didn't resonate with anybody, and I thought they did a great job recovering it and going back to what people wanted. There's been a few misfires with the show, but overall it's been very entertaining and I'm very glad it's still on. And I plan to continue watching it.
-
Half of the episodes focused on some shitty thing the cheerleader was doing. AND YOU FUCKERS COMPLAIN TREK HAS A YOUNG CAST?!!
-
Do yourself a favour and watch the first ep of Californication if you haven't. Make sure you a home alone and have a box of tissues at hand.
-
"I know you are only acting, but how do you keep it down, when you hear Hayden, call you daddy ? " , she likes them older so surely you have a shot.

Fucking gag me.

Or would Milo be the one doign the "boning"?
-
I noticed that too...where did that story/thread go? I wanted to follow-up on the discussion from where I left off on Saturday. Strange.
-
I was looking around the net and one place said the costume being shown to people at Comic-Con was a fabrication and there was none there. Perhaps Herc/AICN made that thread quietly go away in an attempt to save face? AICN was quoted all over the net with that thread. What happened Herc????+

Some crazy-ass reveals in this horrible footage with some chick creaming her pants, but still the best sneak-peak I've found yet from the Comic Con. -
they set up across the street from the Con, with a giant Heroes logo on a billboard?? Brilliant I say! There were lines, people. I for one, love spreading some Heroes love in this post. By the way, they have a fan club too. You won't find a fan club here though, but I'm still very grateful that there was a post about Heroes here. Thank you.

Whoa! Clark FINALLY wears a Superman suit on SMALLVILLE?
by big dumb ape
I watched the YouTube clip that the_natural74 mentions above and it looks pretty cool -- far better than all of HEROES last season. And the final shot shows Tom Welling standing on a building with the Superman emblem on his chest while wearing a long coat or something to create a cape effect. So while it might not be the Superman suit per se, it seems to be the closest I've seen him dressed this way to date. Then again, I stopped watching 2 or so seasons ago -- so maybe this isn't news. But that promo looked pretty good, so I'll have to check the show out again. And note to Kring and the other creative hacks that have put HEROES into a creative crater: get your act together and creative some real fist-pumping "fuck yeah!" excitable moments if you want your show to survive past the mid-season mark. Frankly, that final shot of Welling in the Smallville promo was more bad ass than ANYTHING Heroes has managed in 2 years.
-
The other storylines I'll mute and /or fast forward. Yay DVR!
-
There needs to be a LOT more action in it. A lot more of the "fuck yeah!" element previously mentioned. I get the feeling, though, that with Sylar and Nathan kinda being one and the same now, it's going to open up a BIG new dynamic that's going to be VERY exciting once Sylar realizes what's happened to him. Pete and Nathan have always been strained, and Nathan's always been very grey area about his actions...with it being Sylar doing actions as Nathan, the dynamic between Pete and "Nathan/Sylar" as brothers should be REALLY cool.
I totally expect a HUGE fight between them at some point this season...blow the budget on the special effects, guys, it's long time that it happened...
