My notes from Comic Con's Friday “Battlestar Galactica: The Plan”/”Caprica” panel, starring Ronald D. Moore, Jane Espenson, David Eick, Edward Janes Olmos, Esai Morales and Grace Park, for those who can’t yet afford Twitter:
Now in the rear of Ballroom 20 for the Caprica/BSG The Plan panel. Couldn't get on Twitter during the Stargate Universe panel.
The two Adamas, Olmos and Morales, are seated together -- maybe for the first time??
No, the two Adamas previously played father & son (Olmos the father that time) in “Mi Familia.”

Espenson describes the PLAN script, sp rooted in BSG continuity, as a Rubic's Cube.
Not one of the many naked breasts in th CAPRICA pilot will not be seen on Syfy, says Ron Moore.
Espenson went through lots of old scripts to write The Plan -- faster, she says, than watching old episodes.
Moore calls the show's Emmy snubs "criminal.”
The moderator has seen THE PLAN and said Espenaon loaded it with dark comedy.
Jan 22 2010 is the premiere date of CAPRICA.
Olmos predicts more BSG movies after THE PLAN.
Espenson says an upcoming episode is set on Scopion.

Moore says he's doing a commentary for VIRTUALITY whether they put it on a DVD or not.
espenson says BUFFY fans will enjoy the angry teenage robot girl, if nothing else.
morales says he was fearful of a more Olmos-like actor auditioning for Joe Adama.

I could give a rats ass about The Plan Or Caprica. I don't to see Dean Stockwell hamming it up again. Just let me get the rest of the seasons DVDs next week, and I'm done.

and I LOVED the finale and the final season. But I do get the feeling its done and finished now. Of course I'll still buy it on DVD and I really hope its good. But its not necessary, so geting excited for it is just not worth it.

PS: It's only a 13 ep run again, BrokeLock. It won't make 'til summer. They are going to once again play the season continously. Yes, and FOX does have D'House marked off for the second half of the Fall season, but that does *NOT* mean a renewal. -
He was BSG's line producer and died suddenly last night. Eloquent eulogy for him on the Deadline Hollywood Daily website.

You just know it, she has had to go through old scripts because she knows sweet fuck all about the show she works on.Of all the writers on that show aswell as other folks who could have been given the gig of putting *The Plan* AND *Caprica* together SHE was the one who won out.Bastard who made that choice needs removing from his/her source of oxygen.I will pray to the Gods somehow this turns out good.

really, if you want to see a humanity and robots destroying each other story, only to be given a second, third, fourth and so on chance by a godlike being just watch BIG O or someshit.

She writes every script as if Buffy is about to jump in at any moment. No attention to continuity or previous character development. Her final BSG script was one of the WORST of the series - yet Moore handed her Caprica. Outside of a small but vocal fandom, she's a hated JOKE to SF fans
As long as she's attached to Caprica, I'll pass. After BSG's abortion of an ending, Moore doesn't deserve a second chance anyway. -
I'll be the first one to say that I would have handled some of the finer details of the BSG finale differently, but overall the series ended exactly the way it had to end.

The original show began with the ending to this one. Or would you idiots have rather had Moore try and update the fucking super scouts?
