If all goes according to plan, I’m interviewing “Venture Bros.” masterminds Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer Thursday evening around 6:30 p.m. down here at Comic Con!
The fourth season is coming to The Cartoon Network at some unspecified date this autumn.

Why are you so excellent?

They do lots of thinkin'.

Or is he dead... love Venture Bros. Thanks, Herc.

have more copious amounts of male nudity?

Considering the huge stable of Hanna-Barbera characters (like Jonny Quest or Race Bannon) available to use by Adult Swim and Cartoon Network in general, will we be seeing any appearances of other classic characters in the show?

Need any interns?

to have David Bowie be the Sovereign? And what sorts of ideas sprang from having him be said character? And finally, were there other candidates, like another pop icon, or a made-up character/avatar?
I know it's probably been answered before, but it truly was a master stroke in storytelling. :)

Or a way to write themselves out of a corner?

Cause we all have $250 lying around just collecting dust.
j/k, totally worth it ;) -
Will Phantom Limb, or the character we've all been waiting to see more of, KING GORILLA, be making any prominent appearances in Season 4?
Will Season 4 be the last season? If so, would you have any plans to continue Venture Bros in some other form, like a movie? -
It involves my Uncle. See, my Uncle is a bit of an exhibitionist. When he was younger he used to get off on having sex in public places, like elevators, parks, restrooms, food courts, and so on, but now he's married and he can't get it up without someone watching. So every now and then I'll get a call in the middle of the night and it's my Uncle, and he asks me to come over and watch him have sex with his wife, my Aunt, because otherwise he's gonna be completely limp. So I try to be a good nephew, so of course I do it, right? And so I go over there last time, and they're kind of used to me coming over to watch, it's all very normal and business-like. There's a folding chair set up near the foot of the bed, and I take my place in it with a beer and some gummy candies (I don't eat anything noisy 'cause I don't want to distract them). So they disrobe, and my Uncle starts sucking on her titties, and as he's sucking on them, my Aunt is totally staring at me. She's making eyes at me. Then my Uncle sucks on her clit a bit, and she rubs her titties in a circular motion saying "Oooooh...ooooh..." still staring at me, right? Then my Uncle lays down, and she gets on top, and she's riding him, her titties bouncing up and down, and she's staring at me the whole time. It's like she's fucking me, right? And we're not blood, I'm related to my Uncle, but she's not kin. And so.....um..... I forgot my question.
-
Well, now I'm on a roll.
One of the conundrums of Season 3 was just what the hell are we supposed to call Dr. Girlfriend anymore now that she's married? This seemed to be a problem the characters had to, with Monarch referring to her many times as simply "my wife" instead of a name. Personally, I'd like to see her revert to being called Dr. Girlfriend. That's the name we know and love her by, and it's just funnier to have her keep being called that. So this is my long-winded way of saying, have you fixed the Dr. Girlfriend name problem in Season 4?
My next question is, can you please murder the Murderous Moppets? Please? -
when getting tired of the Brothers?

Are there any actors/musician you'd love use for voices in the show if you thought they would be interested?
-
I LOVE this show...the T-Shirt club they did last year was great, but I was too fat to fit into any of the shirts. Are we ever going to get Venture Bros. action-figures? Limited art prints? A Dr. Mrs. The Monarch pin-up calendar...anything? Oh yeah...GO TEAM VENTURE!!!!!
-
I'd say let Patrick Warburton play Brock Samson himself! Get Michael Cera and McLovin to play Hank an Dean...Michael Emerson could play Dr Venture, Monarch could be NPH...Come on, this movie sells itself!!
Oh and for Zorak 5...Her name is now Dr. "Mrs. The Monarch". -
Will they fall in love with each other?

Did you guys ever think about a Frisky Dingo crossover?
by hlpfuldanger
I know Frisky Dingo was canceled but I always thought that Killface seemed more right at home in the Venture universe. My question is a two parter 1) What were your opinions on KIllface as a character and 2) is it possible to get a Killface cameo in an upcoming Venture episode? Thanks guys!
-
They need to die...NOW!!! You know that scene in Episode 3 with Anakin and the younglings? We need to see that with 21 and the Moppets. In fact, can we get an entire episode dedicated to 21 killing the Moppets in the most horrific way possible? That would be great....R.I.P. 24!!!! YOU WILL BE AVENGED!!!!!!
-
I think the moppets are weird, uncomfortable, and creepy. Perfect for the show. Why do you think so many people hate them so much?

-
I guess 24 really was not invincible right. Since the Fantastic 4 were spoofed so well on the show, can we expect any more established superheros or teams to show up? I bet Brock has a bunch to say to both Captain America and Superman, he might enjoy how the Punisher works.
-
I was high as a kite on 'dro when I saw it last time (thank you science + mary jane), but I'd just finished reading Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas & found the shit hilarious... although I can't remember exactly why...

Are some action figures or a limited edition set of lithograph art prints...a Venture Bros. art of portfolio would be tits...and something I would gladly pay at least 50 bucks for.

Honestly. To devote flashback episodes to Billy Quizkid is brilliant to begin with. It blows my mind that they write this show out of sequence, yet it connects, and foreshadows so, so well.
-
Will we be seeing more flashbacks to the great scientist/humanist split that gave us the two guilds? the Orb episode was very hard to keep pace with and I for one would love to see some more mythos because the rabbit whole is clearly not deep enough on this show. Also, David Bowie coming back?

Why isn't there a Venture Bros comic book out yet?
by spifftacular squirrel girl
It'd be nice to have something to tide fans over between seasons and flesh out some of the lesser known characters a little bit more.
-
And your t-shirt club was bullshit with a capital 'B'. The design work on the DVD sets is super-sweet though. Who's stupid idea was the subtitles on-off reversi on the last set? That shit threw me off for like 5 minutes while my entire family accused me of being too stupid to work the DVD which just made things worse.
-
My question would be something to do with the outing of Dr V's illicit cloning of the boys. Does that mean they are out of lives now and Brock and Rusty are going to have to be much more careful? And also why is the show so awesome compared to all the other crap on Tv etc, etc?
-
I had to make a talkback account after years of lurking just for this.
1. You guys seem to reference a lot of comic book characters and satire many of the typical superhero archetypes. Do you currently read any comics/graphic novels? If so, which are your favorites?
2. A Venture comic would be really cool. Has anyone ever given it any though?
3. What about some sweet Venture merchandise other than random t shirts? Toys? Shrink ray guns?
4. Who is the bigger Star Wars fan, Jackson or Doc? -
What the fuck are you talking about. The later eps piss on - PISS ON - the early ones. And the early ones were great. The finale of the last season was sweet as all fuck out, you spoilt weeny.
-
Yea, Brock needs to knock-up Dr Mrs Monarch and having a running gag about the Monarch's "kid" looking like excactly like Brock. Either that or Helper needs to snap and become a REAL arch-villian, resulting in the destruction of the Guild and an alliance between the Ventures and the Monarch. And of course Rusty, seeing a tidy profit to be made in arching, joins Helper. Monarch adopts the boys and Brock is now stuck protecting the Monarch!
-
But how about a David Bowie/Mick Jagger team-up?
That writes itself, no? -
What is Brock's favorite Zep Album? Is he more early blues or later Tolkien style?
-
My question is have they planned out a series end like lost?Do they have story arcs planned for each character?Oh and another question would be how they can make a show so fucking awesome that I am willing to sell my first born to guarantee another season?
-
I swear I will go out and buy Mad Men's two seasons and watch them just for herc asking my questions.
-
Was Bing Crosby aware of David Bowie's affiliation with the League of Calamitous Intent when the duo recorded their version of the Christmas classic, the Little Drummer Boy?
-
... because it was awful. Would it be within their power to appoint someone who actually knows what the characters area saying, and not just what it sounds like they MIGHT be saying despite its complete lack of relevance to the surrounding dialogue? Season two's captions were so far off that several really good gags were completely lost to the hard of hearing (or those of us who don't want to wake the kids).
-
curse you, lack of edit function.
-
What does David Bowie think of being a character on the show, and will we be seeing more of him this next season?
-
When will we learn that Hank is related to brock?
-
What is their personal fascination with Bowie? Do they know whether or not Bowie is a fan of the show? Who is Brock's kid's mother? Will the henchman who got it in the last episode (24?) be returning as a cyborg?
-
Will we find out everyone is related one way or another?
-
if they ever make a live action movie. He looks like the character he voices.
-
Is Trianna Orpheus's friend from "Victor. Echo. November." going to return anytime soon, possibly as the first next-gen supervillain focused on destroying the boys? Or if not her, anybody, I think it's time Hank and Dean got their own Arch-Enemy!

1) Doc: when are the WEEP putting out a full-length album?
2) Are you as in love with Sgt Hatred as you were last season?
3) Has season four really turned into a season of stand-alone episodes, or does it continue the trend of Season Three? Where there seems to be an emphasis of telling backstory and expanding on your own mythology.
4) Do we get some more interaction between JJ and Doc Venture?
and
5) Do you ever plan to tell the story of Jonas Venture and Rusty's mom?
Thanks Herc, and thanks Jackson and Doc for this great show. -
Brock seemed like he was created to be way more unhinged in the pilot, then in every subsequent episode he appears much more nonchalant, was that a creative decision or something that just evolved?
-
...ala "Jack Jack" from The Invincibles?
-
I read that it will pick up several months in the future. My question is simply put, this. "Will there be any character development as far as Hank and Dean, I.E. Dean getting courageous enough to be manlier/ask Triana out, and Hank getting maybe a little deadlier/less brash?"
Huge fan and I wear my "Dean" and "Billy Quizboy" Tshirts every laundry cycle. -
I believe I read that Bowie's publicist declined/ didn't reply to their offer to appear on the show, and they believed that he apparently didn't do cameos. But then they saw that he was gonna be on Spongebob, and they were slightly miffed.
BTW, I'm a longtime listener, first time caller -
How many times is...the nozzle....funny? Don't look directly at...the nozzle...don't laugh even a little at....the nozzle. The Sea Captain episode with Major Tom is still the funniest episode ever...TOLD YOU! Brock is bitter and mean, the Moppets completely suck, Dean went from sweet geek to annoying crybaby and fucking 24 is dead! I'm not saying it's not still great, but the tone is different, grimmer and simply not as laugh out loud funny and quotable as season one: "I never told anyone off before...that was easy..."
-
as I should?
-
It felt like we missed some episodes. Still, best show of the last few years.
-
Dethlok Vs. Goon seems to point towards YES. http://tinyurl.com/ph88qg
-
Will we find out for sure whether or not No.24 is more expendable than invincible?
-
ORB was hilarious.
-
crossover? Like The Venture Brothers Meet Tom Goes To The Mayor or something? They used to do all the time with the Jetsons Meet The Flintsons (Rugrats Go Wild). Seeing that your show is all about old timely pop cultural references I think this would be keen.
-
come on please? that guy awesome!! add in the Triad for his team and you have cartoon gold right there... Make it so!!!
-
1. Did Rusty's rediscovery of his love of adventuring and wise decision-making in the "ORB" episode represent a turning point for his character, i.e. the beginnings of a comeback from a lifetime of failure?
2. Will we see other earlier versions of the Guild/Team Venture, pre-Jonas Venture Sr.?
3. What background character will become this seasons Sgt. Hatred, i.e. a fully fleshed-out character with multiple appearances? Will any regular characters' screen time be dialed back as a result?
Thanks! -
I do believe they answer that question in the commentary on the discs.

If you stiop making episodes may we all kick the crap out of you
by dogsoup
Seriously, don't stop making episodes! I can wait between seasons as long as there is a season to look forward to!
-
I'll admit it: I started watching VB because I own a '69 Charger. (I got into it because of the deranged Johnny Quest-ness of the show.) 2nd generation Chargers got used so much in movies and TV that the car is practically a cliche. So why the real Charger?
-
As good as 2 was, 3 was really average. Hopefully this isn't a trend.
-
Are we gonna see venture bros action figures anytime in the near future, is there anything currently in the works?
-
I got a bet going that it's over 1,000 PSI.
-
Please, don't be dead. So, is he?
-
What's it like having this great, brilliant show surrounded by all that other awful Adult Swim crap?
-
Totally Rusty Venture's sister, am I right? She's even got Jonas Sr's brunette-with-a-touch-of-red hair. We saw Jonas and her mom at the swinger's party in the flashback scenes. Caaahhhm aahhhhhn.
-
...and what's it like when you hear comments about how Season 3 isn't as good as 2, when, clearly, such comments are from fucking fanboy retards?
-
Was the Tesla reference in "ORB" a nod to Bowie's role in "The Prestige" or just coincidence?

In "tag sale you're it," after seeing Phantom Limb walk away, monarch asks Dr GF "Didn't you used to work with him or something?" To which she replies "i've never met him before, he's an ass." In Shadowman 9 we see that Monarch steals her away from Phantom Limb, therefore already establishing no need for that question. What I'm getting at is: just go ahead and admit that you didn't have these backstories totally thought out when you initially wrote these earlier episodes. Anyone who's really paying attention can tell that, and you what: the show's so god-damn funny that we don't care! I say again: caaahhhm aaaaaahhhhn!
-
Wasn't the issue of fans allegedly more knowledgeable than the show's creators and aggressively pushing this knowledge on the talent at conventions conclusively dealt with by William Shatner telling Trekkies on SNL to "get a life" and asking Jon Lovitz whether he had ever kissed a girl?
-
Not to be confused with secret enemas. Of course those are secret. For we cannot have the world knowing of their cleansing properties!
-
Be directing the live action film?
-
Man, he got fucking great towards the end of season three. "Nope. No Blaculas."
-
That brilliant episode where Killinger is trying to get Rusty to become a super villain. It all made so much sense, I would have loved to see the show get back to this direction. Please don't tell me it was just a one off thing.
-
I tell folks who tell me that they don't always get the humor in Venture Bros. that they should watch Jonny Quest first.
I then plant incendiary devices upon their persons with remote detonators, wait for these people to get far enough away from me (hey, I'm valuable) and then I push the button on the remote.
If I've done my job right (and I guarantee you, I have) those silly non-understanders are little clouds of gore.
Not Al Gore, although I can see where one might get confused. -
Came here to say one thing...More ghost pirate captain! Every time he's on the episode is an instant classic. Ghosts of the Sargasso and 20 Years to Midnight had me laughing till my stomach ached.
It's not that the character is funnier than any of the others, just some sort of critical mass of insanity is hit when he's on. -
I think it's his naturalistic speaking style in the Ghost episode: "What... no way!"

by singsingjohnny
I mean, think about it...with all of Rusty's repressed anger and frustration, it'd be easy! You can have it all come out after one of his experiments goes awry and he's blasted with Theta Rays or something and he turns into a orange (H)ulking beast...he could even kick The Monarch's arse whilst on his rampage! Who could stop him? BROCK @^&$ing SAMPSON.
So yeah...how about it? -
At the end, when Brock jumps up and beats the shit out of the ghost and then throws him over board the captain stares at him say - "Well we could have done that!" For some reason I always crack up at that scene.

Listen to the commentary tracks and/or read Publick's blog. They've admitted many times over that they just make things up as they go, especially in the early days.

My main question: Is Season 4 being designed as the last season, such that all our questions will be answered? Or is that the point to the split Season 4: if you don't get another order, we get the answers, otherwise they get pushed off into Season 5/6 (not a negative - I'd wish this show was on forever).
Minor questions:
Is The Monarch related to Dr. Venture?
Is Dr. Quymn related to Dr. Venture?
Is Drew Quymn female?
What powers Monarch's cocoon? (There have been mutiple references to its unnaturalness. Case in point: Dean's psychotic episode in the Season 2 finale was due to it.)
Will Dean ever take Triana (who also doesn't want her father's life) and run away to become normal kids in some suburb? -

How come you never use Mors Syphilitica tracks on the show?

Trina Orpheus would totally listen to Mors Syphlitica. Actually, she could be the singer! Heeeey... I wonder if theres any connection between the two?..........................

Are you guys pissed that Dr. Horrible totally ripped your idea (up to and including the Bowie look alike at the end) or are you guys please, and planning a cross-over?

er, PLEASED, that is. Stupid lack of edit.

....when will Molotov Cocktease deflower the Venture Brothers to enrage Brock Samson so much he becomes a hippie? Moppets must die at the hands of 24's sister or brother (Jack Bauer??) and will Trianna turn to an evil seductress a la Dr. Girlfriend to get attention from daddy?
-
2) Will Brock return to his pre-Venture guarding days? 3) Did Phantom Limb survive (or find his invisible dick) after the season 2 finale? 4) Is Hank going to leave Dean behind maturity-wise? 5) Any new arch villains entering the fray? 6) Will Monarch cool on arching Venture?
-
was priceless. Please, don't expand the Bros to a feature, videogame, Broadway musical, etc. They are perfect the way they are now.
-
They were married at one time, you know:
http://www.myspace.com/morssyphilitica
How odd that Eric would go on to make, like, the best cartoon ever! Dude is ludicrously talented. Even if you hate this music, its undeniably the work of two gifted individuals with true skill. And now they make a hilarious parody / celebration of 60s, 70s and all over cheesy sci fi adventure cartoons! Awesome! -

... no offense to Brendan Small's excellent DeathKlok (2nd best) but all the vitriol in the world for the other crap that fills the timeslot (I especially mean you, Tim and Eric).
For the love of all that is holy, IGNORE the crossover crowd!!!
Oh yea ... this is a question TB, right? So:
1: I imagine all will be explained in Season 4, but where the hell did Brock's crazy tattoos come from? How many cases of concealer does that man go through?
2: What sparked that bitchy/whiny/pussy rant from the creator of the bloody-awful Moral Orel (its cancellation proves there is a God) against VB a year back and what came of it? His "my-shit-don't-stink" attitude and childish behavior was naseauting.
Again, best show on AS ever! Go Team Venture!
Now, time to pray for the cancellation of Squidbillies and anything by T&E. -
I, as the German that I am, have never seen one single episode of Jonny Quest, but the show still works fine for me.
-
Keith David be joining the show? he should be Brock's arch nemesis.

Is the ongoing continuity supposed to be taken seriously...
by bravogolfhotel
...or is it also part of the joke? Some fans get incredibly wound up about the history of the Orb or the policies of the Guild of Calamitous Intent or what have you, but I maintain it's an element of the parody. Who's right?

continue on in the vein of Season 3, with more stand-alone episodes that contribute to the mythology, or will is follow the Season 2 path (still, in my opinion, the strongest season) and build throughout the season to the finale, rather than in just the final few episodes?

All of the flashbacks and back story were a necessary part to tell it, is all.

Crispin Clover as The Monarch
Hank & Dean? I think an online casting search...they need to be complete unknowns.
And...in a brutal cameo...Angelina Jolie as Molotov Cocktease.
Film that - Then ride the money wagon all the way to the bank! -
Damn... good casting! Billy Zane as PL is hilarious and CC as the monarch is fucking brilliant. Dick and Carrey give me hives, but they look right for the parts.

So, are we ever going to see Nat King Cobra? What about the silhouetted Guild council ("SILENCE!" "Oh, you were so close!")? And what are the legal issues that come up with using Jonny Quest, and portraying Race Bannon as a torturer?

Did the Tick teach us nothing? As much as I want more VB, it'd just be cosplay. Keep the seasons of the cartoon coming, and all will be well in the world.
-
will he get as big a funeral as Michael Jackson?
-
because you guys are in to quality and continuity and Kring is your evil opposite.
-
Comedy is subjective, so if you can't wrap your head around Tim and Eric, so be it. But any series (fifteen minutes in length or not) to feature Zach Galifianakis, Ray Wise, Patton Oswalt, Jeff Goldblum, Ed Bagley Jr, the hilarious John C Reilly as Steve Brule, just to name a few, is a keeper to me.
-
but even though Warburton is a nobrainer for Brock, I picture Charles Napier in my mind. But a live version would suck...always has. A standard Hanna Barbera cartoon would work better, because they were basically animated sitcoms anyway. So where is The Jetsons:The Movie?
-
... It sounded like you two weren't thrilled with season three on the whole, or as a final product, so to speak-- You both often expressed desires to take show places other than you did, focus on things you didnt, etc -- Do you feel that season 4 has gone well, i.e. are you happy with its overall tenor and direction?
And will you guys consider making an "Escape From the House of Mummies: Part 5?" ...I know theres no part 1, 3, or 4, but 2's my favorite episode of the show yet, and they were in such odd, different places at the end of it, there needs to be another sequel!!
And season 5? -
"In-Head" character who appears only to henchman 21? To really kick the podium, he could even appear for the first time in the Tricia Helfer red dress and wig... "Whhyyyyy? Whyy would you picture me like this, you sick bastard?!?!" That would be totally tits... I grant release of the idea if you like it...
-
All these are perfect and inspired
Throw a yellow mullet on Warburton. Done.
Throw a bald cap on Andy Dick for Rusty. Done.
See this pic of Parker Posey:
http://tinyurl.com/lx9mtk
Then let her lip synch over Doc's awesome voice track for Dr. Girlfriend.
Ellen Page as Triana.
Jim Carrey IS Byron Orpheus
Perhaps Colbert will get his head out of his ass for a live action Professor Impossible.
Billy Zane as Phantom Limb
Crispin Clover as The Monarch
Hank & Dean? I think an online casting search...they need to be complete unknowns.
And...in a brutal cameo...Angelina Jolie as Molotov Cocktease.
My additions are here:
Kevin Smith as 21
Ray Romano as 24
Mickey Rooney as Billy Quizboy
Warwick Davis and Tony Cox as the Moppets.
David Bowie as David Bowie

Doctor girlfriend as a case of post-modern transexual identity c
by mrnightingale
What are the Freudian implications of- just kidding, the hotness, the raspy voice, is it based off any (real) person in particular? Are we going to get more characters like Dr. Killinger, in other words, obvious metaphors for historical figures this season? Also- you have a lot of doctors on the show, will we get to see them in med school?
-
I think america needs The musical stylings of Hank, Dermit and helper now more than ever.
-
Dear Venture Brothers writey peoples, If you had your own magic murder bag, what colour would it be? and would you use it for good or evil?
PS. Where the hell are my region 2 dvds!!? -
hes the best, most obvious casting choice warburton as himself.
-
I meant "besides warburton"
-
go to google and see for yourself

Brechtsky, Oswalt's going to be doing a voice this season
by shut the fuck up donny
...but it's not as 24.
Still a match made in heaven, though. -
The voice makes it hotter. Idk why.
-
Is there any real chance of this? What's been talked about?
-
They've already made references to BSG. 21 would obviously watch the show, or at least know it exists.
-
is like a Monty Python Movie. Keep Urbaniak and Warburton. Hammer and Public play as many characters as possible Quizboy/21 &24 etc(Get Rick Baker for Makeup) and cast some A list hotties for Dr. Girlfriend and Molotov Cocktese to get it greenlit.
Cast Teen Girls for Hank and Dean in case of possible sequels. You don't want your cloned teenagers aging do you? -
I can't remember?

There needs to be an entire episode dedicated to Blaculas
by turketron_2
And Blacula hunting. Because some motherfuckers always tryin to ice skate uphill.
-
everyone always ask at cons.
Go to Youtube and watch some old ones, then you'll know the answers to almost all of the above questions.
Question: In creating the Venture History (that we've only seen glimpses off.) Was Jackson Publick influenced by Philip Jose Farmer Wold Newton books and theories? -
a movie would mean no ongoing series for at least 2 years, unless they outsource all the work...and they dont wanna do that
-
How did Doc and Publick hook up with Jim Foetus?
-
how the guys feel being ignored by the msm once again vb is without a doubt the best animated show on tv, and up there with all shows...and yet, not one nomination from the emmys or golden globes...or anything i know, its a boring question...so can you follow up with this warren ellis has stated on his blog that he will not have sex with anyone at the con unless he is paid...so will jackson public pay ellis to have sex with him
-
"OH MY GOD, I LOVE [insert favorite secondary/tertiary character here], CAN WE SEE MORE OF HIM/HER?!?!?!?"
Chances are, the reason some characters are so great (Pirate Captain, Billy Quizboy, Baron Ünderbheit) is because they only show up a couple of times per season. If you got them in every episode they'd become stale.
The best thing these guys could do for future VB seasons is NOT listen to the fanboys. At all. -
I think he had to have.. Monarch implanted him with the explosives. What's funny (per the commentary) is that people are about as 1/100th as upset at Brock quitting as they are concerning that Ray Romano-talking motherfucker buying the farm.
-
Ahhhh. You know I always say I'm gonna watch with commentary and then 9 times out of ten, I never get around to it. Too bad because the two or three I've actually watched are hysterical/informative.
Question: retracted. -
They inexplicably (sp) get the top ratings on Adult Swim, even in rerun...do they have contempt for it, or do they just shrug their shoulders and go "whatever"..
-
As the creators of a universe we have enjoyed immersing ourselves in so much, you owe us this:
Favorite sexual positions of all major female characters -- go!!! -
I actually think such a revelation will be hilarious.
-
Is Billy Quizboy based on Ken Jennings? For anyone who thinks this absolutley retarded, I say find a still of his hideous smile after he makes one of his lame jokes. The way his cheeks bloom out and the lines around his eyes scrunch is as the Russians say: Absolut Quizboy.
PS if THIS was answered in a commentary track i will shoot myself in the cock. -
... whether VERONICA MARS / MOONLIGHT actor Jason Dohring is the younger clone of STAR TREK TNG / THRESHOLD actor Brent Spiner.Because holy crap they look alike.
-
Would be way too much like the last Austin Powers. Don't need that.
-

What was the last new episode of anything to air on Adult Swim?
by series7
Recently? Squidbillies or Aquateen? How come it takes them 20 years to release new shit? Is working for adult swim, one of the greatest jobs ever? Just working for them like in the office, not making the shows or anything.
-
In "Home Is Where the Hate Is," The Monarch sees Tara Quymn and Dr Dugong in Guild Arching Book, along with a Quentin Ball. Since we've seen the other two, will we see him as well? Also, Dr. Dugong deserved more screen time, as he is hysterical.
-
I would like to know, do they have an overarching storyline in mind, or is it pretty fluid season-to-season, and off of that is there some end-destination they are driving to, overall or with certain characters' evolution? If so, any clues as to what?
That being asked, I really love this show.
-Cheers -
The boys won't answer any question that will be reveled in the show itself.
They usually just say, "wait and see..." -
Is going to end up being the long lost son of Brock or vice versa.
-
Monarch killed him at the beginning of that one ep. Doctor Mrs the Monarch complained that he's not suppose to kill his new arch nemesis day one.
"Well, I'm that good," he says. -
Thanks for making the best damn animated series EVER!
Would you folks consider doing an episode in a different style? Anime for example? Maybe a take a la Frank Miller's Dark Knight?
What comic books/novels/series do you, the creators, enjoy following?
Thank you for your consideration of these questions. I'll take your answers off the air.
-
It was impressed that he got that robot mannequin from the Mr. Roboto functional, even if it was felled by pupa-dwarfs.
-
Has there been an announcement regarding how many seasons of VB that Doc & Jackson intend to do? A friend of mine keeps insisting that they've said they're gonna do 5 seasons and then they're finished, but I haven't heard this anywhere else. I'd love to see this run longer than the Flintstones, but not if it's going to be half-assed. 5 non-shark-jumped seasons of VB on DVD would fit nicely alongside my 5 seasons of The Wire on the DVD Shelf of Excellence. -
That would be a season finally shocker and a half, depending on...you know...thesize.
-
One of the best characters ever. A slutty version of the Black Widow. She deserves her own show. Anyone she screws, dies. Make it a running gag. Venturize the whole SHIELD organization. Call it: Paramilitary
Unlicensed
Badass
Elite
Squad -
I'd be thrilled to tiny little shiny pieces if you'd ask them if a.) they know about "The Monarch" luxury residential skyscraper in Austin, and b.) if The Monarch is behind it (and/or has a base there). http://monarchaustin.com/
-
You guys dealt brilliantly with the past that turned Dr. Venture into the neurotic mess we all know today... but it seems like most of the main cast started with pretty lousy upbringings. Who had the most traumatic childhood, and who had the closest to a normal one?
My second question- What brand does Dr. Girlfriend smoke?
-
what kind of nipples does she have?
-
Will he have a bigger role this coming season or do you have other plans for the character?
-
The cartoon form of the Ventures is near perfection as it is. My question is who was Rusty and JJ's mother and what happened to her? Oh and thanks for all the trouble I got in for wearing the MC's Black Hearts t-shirt to work.
-
...that hum their own theme music? That one scene with 24 lived on my Myspace page for ages. Hell, I hum my own theme music, from time to time. That's all I got. Great Show!
-
When the show debutted, my wife surprisingly enjoyed it as much as I did. But when Hatred was fleshed on in Season3, that aspect of his personality alone killed the show for my wife.
-
Same build kinda thought maybe, no?

3 Short Simple Questions for Doc and Jackson.....Take your pick.
by alpeter3
1. Will there be a season 5?
2. Why are you guys so awesome?
3. What can I do to be as awesome as the two of you? -
Cheers, I'll give it a look.
-
Will we ever see Triana's hot friend from the double date episode back in season two ever become a villan for the Guild? I was hoping it would follow through because that left me hangin out hope for her.
-
it is apparent that she has no fucking sense of humor...which probably makes her fucking awful in bed....kick that bitch to the curb
-
"Now don't tell me you didn't hear that...IF YOU WOULD JUST SHUT UP FOR ONE ROUND MINUTE!!" "Yer not much of a liar, are you Dean?" "Who did this? Haven't these guys been through enough tonight?" "I told you what I'd do for one of those." "
-
Obviously they won't and I hate retards who ask those kinds of questions. But I would like to ask "Do you two know who the father(s) and mother(s) of the boys are and do you plan to reveal that information at some point in the future?"
I believe everything else I would have asked has already been said by others.
-
C'mon, you can't possibly be doing anything Friday at SDCC. We need our Venture info!
-
It's probably still sleeping in the Pacific time zone.
-
He's annoying, and I wish he would stay dead.
here's a crossover idea:
Have him become a fan of DethkloK.
Him and his annoying offspring are retards as well.
How about a Brock Sampson show? -
... And hercs posted a few other pieces of con news, yet still no update here?... Annoying.
-
and Herc'll be too busy fawning over Tom Welling's leather suit to follow-up on anything truly interesting.
-
its been like to 2 days.. no time for an update? adult swim panels are one of my fav parts of comic con.. im dying to hear something about season 3
-
its been like to 2 days.. no time for an update? adult swim panels are one of my fav parts of comic con.. im dying to hear something about season 3
-
i mean season 4 my bad
-
I second this! And probably would clap if I didn't have one hand in my pants thinking about Molotov Cocktease!BTW, have Hank and Dean tagalong so she could help them be men...I mean true badass spies!Sure Brock is there to protect them and teach but he loves them too much to teach them anthing useful!
-
That's crack investigative reporting there.
-
Even an AICN journo needs sleep and pub time. Hope you're enjoying the sun, Herc.
-
Lame.
-
Hello? Is this thing on?
-
My initial post on Friday was a joke, but at least let us know whether the meet-n-greet happened rather than string the devoted along.
-
Just let us know whether it even happened. If it didn't happen, that's fine; we're all good with it. We just want to know whether we should abandon hope.
-
Such accountability.
-
I don't know what that means (in terms of where or which one) but that's the response he gave me in the twin peaks talkback.
-
Srsly.
-
http://www.aintitcool.com/node/41938
Quoth Herc: "Venture Bros. Doesn't return until some unspecified date this autumn; I'd expect the interview then, assuming the music at the EW party doesn't make the conversation unintelligible. I threw a couple teases up on Twitter the night I talked to Jackson & Doc if you want to seek those out." -
