Cheech And Chong Hit The Game Grid In Mean Magazine's Cinemash Of TRON!

Here's something I never thought I'd see: stoner comedy legends Cheech and Chong settling a debate on the economy with a light cycle duel.
This is another one o' them Mean Magazine Cinemashes (click here to see last week's SID & NANCY riff starring Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt), and it's significant because a) I don't think we've seen Cheech and Chong do their thing on camera since they reunited, and b) this very short film was directed by Kashy Khaledi, who hit AICN with this excellent Steven Lisberger interview seven years ago!
So Kashy knows his TRON. And, shockingly, Cheech and Chong seem to know their economics. Check it out...

I agree, the quality od the video really did suck, but it was very funny and great work on the light cyles and frisbees. I am so glad that Cheech and Chong are back together. A colleage of mine once saw their live show years ago in San Diego..they had two shows, the "family" show which came in the early evening and then the REAL show for everyone else! LOL! Wish I could have seen it!

What I liked the most about the video (apart from the crazy visuals) is they are not appearing as themself, bus the characters Cheech & Chong. The idea, that these two are still getting high in their van, warms my heart for any reason.

Up In Smoke was released in 78 and is a classic. Still Smokin was just as good while the rest of their movies were entertaining. These guys were a great comedy team and I've been hoping that they would have gotten together for just one more movie. I didn't find this amusing at all.

All I remember is it was this 15 paragraph WAMP-WAMP (fyi: charlie brown teacher sound) about some youtube poop video about selling cars. That update made about as much sense as this one does, and that one was yanked down from the site 15 minutes after it was posted. Im a little surprised to find this one still here once I got home from work.
