Dorff and Norrington returning for a BLADE prequel trilogy?
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Looks like BLADE is coming back... but without Blade. Somehow.
Listen, I like Stephen Dorff... I have since I was a kid and watched THE GATE, like, 700 times. I liked him in the original Blade, but I don't know if I really NEED to see a Blade prequel starring his character let alone a three movie telling of Deacon Frost's rise through the vampire ranks.
The Sunday Mail has a chat with a guy named "Stehpen" Dorff, whom I am going to assume is closely related to Stephen, where he confirms this series of films are in the works.
However, the most interesting bit of information in the story is that The Sunday Mail is under the impression that BLADE director Stephen Norrington is handling this new series of films. I always thought the dude got the shit end of the stick with the stillborn mess that was THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN and would love to see him come back to filmmaking, prove that wasn't all his fault.
So, I guess I'm mixed on this news. I hope it's fun if it happens at all. What do you folks think?

fying as it has always looked...
-
plain... if you know what i mean...
-
Is dumb.
And I don't think the news in legit. BUT...I would love to see orrington be given a second chance. And if he and Dorff return the Blade Universe, I'd be keen. -
all of their franchises and just reboot everything. With crossovers.
-
So if we haven't heard a follow up, isn't it now likely dead?
-
Norington retired after Th league and said the experience was so bad working with Connory that they both retired. There was a big story about it in Empire. Plus even if he decided to come back I doubt he would choose this load of shit as a comback vehicle
-
Blade 2 was solid, although it pretty much ruined the continuity of the 1st one.
Blade fucking rocked. What an underrated movie. Wesley Snipes did the best "tortured hero" I've ever seen in that movie. I just wished someone could replicate that in the role of Bruce Wayne. -
...umm, ok. You'll be pleased to know that Christopher Nolan has directed TWO Batman films over the past few years with Christian Bale starring as Batman/Bruce Wayne! They're really good and chock full of pathos, you should check them out!

Yeah, because after 11 years people are still talking about...
by derlanghaarige
...Deacon Frost and how Stephen Dorff stole every scene in Blade. :P
-
The second film focused on Dorf's friend, rather than the main character, and it sucked. Think about that before doing a Bladeless Blade, Dorf!
-
You know it.
-
I'm sure it's terrible. But Blade, damn! That made me want to do nerdy kung-fu moves in front of the mirror.
-
Hmm, plum role in a Michael Mann film, and the lead role in Sofia Coppola's next. It's Dorff-mania!
-
Personally, in my opinion, the guy's a bit of a dick. I found him to be not very professional, and there was a woman in the make-up department who he upset quite badly. (Sure, I was an extra, and it was Space Truckers, but it meant I got to stand around (and see) a lot...) What was he last decent in, even?
-
I also liked gate, it was creepy and still is, also made me want to buy toy rockets. I liked norrington's first blade, and id rather see him go back to the franchise that made him instead of doing something in The Crow universe
-
Leather blazer ;) seriously that little intro scene where he first fully speaks in the white collar shirt and leather blazer is something I used to put on a-b repeat all the time. I love two button leather blazers. They could show how he gets it or why he starts liking them, kinda like River/young Indy getting the fedora put on his head in last Crusade ;)
-
is actually very talented. Gentlemen is well shot and directed, its just the script that is a little, how shall we say, underwhelming. Adding Tom Sawyer didn't help either. But Norrington is in a class above JJ TV Abrams, McG, Bayhem etc.
-
is currently being remade.
-
coming out of the asshole of the US. Who the fuck do they think is gonna watch this shit?
-
Really, where has this guy been lately? I'm sure he could use a paycheck.
I'm not really sold on the idea of making a freaking TRILOGY around a character that got killed in the first film in another trilogy. My most optimistic prediction is that the first film gets a theatrical release but that the other two pad what ends up being a pretty ambitious direct-to-video series.
All hail Dorff. -
Loved the first blade hated the sequels. I really want to seem him return to directing. This Deacon Frost trilogy story sounds like bullshit to me though.

Err Dorff features in Public Emenies everyones watching right no
by barnaby jones
He was badass in Blade, one of the best things about it, so i say BRING IT ON !
-
Christ, I 'm sick of these Vamp flicks already. They'll have a young cast with a love story in the center. Oh, and Deacon WAS a good a guy.
-
say it with me now..also the daily mail is the shittest newspaper in england
-
in Backbeat 2, the first one was a good role for him.
-
last good role..kilmer was good in it too
-
And Felon was the single most underrated movie I saw last year. That thing should have been huge. Val Kilmer was awesome in it, as well.

Dorff is hosting "Best ever movie theme songs" countdowns...
by i_am_not_the_droid_you_are_looking_for
on UK pay tv. There is no fucking away ANYONE is willing to front the cash for a prequel trilogy about a little known character starring a nobody. And for the record I don't mind Dorff. Despite his numerous crimes to celluloid. Especially that Space Truckers piece of shit with Hopper. If he had made better choices and not been so much of a dick, he could still be the poor mans Ethan Hawke.
-
There's no way they'd plan three movies around the villain from a movie that came out like ten years ago. Maybe one DTV prequel, but three? And isn't this more Red Dragon syndrome with the age thing? Dorff looks good and all, but he doesn't look younger than he did in Blade. And if they'll do this, why not Blade 4?
-
When are they going to forget about the atrocious "Trinity" & make a real third entry to the series. With Blade of course. Still waiting on that & the REAL third Xmen movie.
-
Possibly the ONLY movie ever in my tenure as a film buff that I have genuinely and literally fallen asleep during, never to recover. I can barely remember one thing that happened besides Connery committing supukku right in front of my eyes.
-
is a sh!t newspaper and a sunday equivelent of the Sun.
PS it is a totally different paper to the Mail on Sunday - it is Scottish and is the Daily Records sister paper - also rank -
...wow, Stehpen is closely related to Stephen?
Now we are talking spelling here, on this page where Michelle Pfeiffer very often meets her close relative Michelle Pfieffer, as well as Liev Schreiber is re-baptised as Liev Schrieber.
smartarses. -
Unless there's any recent news about this, it's probably dead in the water.
-
HOLE by George W bush. As in not pleasant at all. Norrington deserves better. I'd totally let him fuck me in the ass if it helped him out in any way. And A hearty FUCK YOU to david goyer for B3. There's a dude whose chest I wouldn't shit on if he paid me.
-
Re-baptised is a close relative of rechristened.
-
NO one is interested in this. It will bomb and be left unfinished. I like Dorff too. So let's see him in something original and not in something that's still milking a ten year old, DEAD franchise. That shitty TV series was the last nail in the coffin. No one gives a fuck. And without Snipes? Really? Adapt another shitty comic. Remake an old, already shitty horror flick. Do something "constructive" that will actually make money. Not this.
-
--the dude's a total dickhead. And NOBODY wants to work with him. His career tanked before it ever really got off the ground because he was such a narcissistic cunt to everyone around him. Go ahead and google "Stephen Dorff" and "rude" or "asshole".
-
Three more BLADE movies with Snipes or White? Yes please.

The success of Twilight, True Blood, etc. will lead to tons of rumors about useless vampire flicks. Forget crap like this. I would love see one, just one decent Dracula movie based on the book. Don't get me wrong the one Coppola did was ok, but Dracula is a monster not some love sick dog. Anyway I digress, if they are so keen on flooding the market with vampire movies I'm sure they could do better than this. Like I don't know oh a Castlevania movie where the script doesn't suck? Whatever happened to that Dracula Year one or whatever it was going to be called? Blade? I would love to see more just reboot it. The last one was just a vehicle to get Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel screen time so they could launch that incredible idea of a Nightstalkers franchise. Gee how did that work out? The idea is worthless.
-
That sums it up right there. Dorff, move on.
-
He was good in Public Enemies too. I liked the character of Deacon Frost but come on NO MORE PREQUELS! And no Blade! We don't need to know how he came to power we saw it in the first Blade. He killed all of the other council members.
-
sits in development hell? If there was ever a time to make a Buffy movie, it'd be now Joss! The vampire backlash is gonna happen soon. This Blade-less Blade might just be the catalyst.
However, a Blade 4 in which Snipes puts some silver into those glitterati Twilight fucks would be a welcomed addition to the vampire lore. -
And they want to make an entire trilogy focused on him? Please... These movies will never even see pre-production.
-
Someone on this site calling out spelling errors? Pot, this is kettle... have you met?
-
Follow Stephen Dorff as he kneels around a golf course getting into trouble.
-
And why a trilogy? Everything now is a trilogy, why can't you make one damn good movie, not that you should make it about this!
-
And this time have Simon Phoenix kill off vampires and werevolves. Or just have Blade kill all the rejects from those Underworld movies.
-
I heard this forever ago and always wondered if it was true. On of the first days of filming Blade, Norrington overheard some of the cast/crew saying that he was not hardcore enough to direct Blade, the next day he came on set covered in piercings and tatoos. Anyone ever heard anything like this?
-
Was a pretty awesome movie. I got a friend who is a prison guard and save for letting more then 2 inmates out for air at a time he said the whole thing was pretty accurate. He also added that, there was a case in California where guards were taking bets on inmates fighting like that.
-
The alternate ending for blade? Where Dawrf's character turns into a like tornado of blood?
-
Didn't Bond beat his ass on the set of LXG? If these stories are true, I already know Dawrf is a huge douchebag. Sounds like its a bromance made in heaven.
-
Blade, Buffy, Twilight, and eventually Del Toro's THE STRAIN is going to be adapted...it's getting to be overkill.
-
I'm totally ambivalent about this. I fucking loved the original Blade, loved Dorff as Deacon Frost, and also thought norrington got fucked with TLOEG...but a prequel series centered on Frost? Uhhh...not so sure about that one.
-
That is all.
-
Yeah, I am with you on this one!
Do we need a Blade Prequel trilogy on the "rise" of Deacon Frost?
Who gives a rats ass?
Blade was decent, the sequel was pretty cool and the third one was just garbage in my humble opinion..
Plus...Both Stephen and his brother Brad are SUCH hack/support role character actors! Name ONE truely cool/great movie that either one of them have been able to actually carry as a main character?
yeahhhhh...I can't either...
So a Blrade prequel trilogy?
Major Ywannnnnnn...Zzzzzzzz factor here folks -
...you could easily picture taking a shit. There's just something about him, his look, the essence of his spirit, I don't know, but you can picture him sitting on a toilet with his pants around his ankles, his hairy legs exposed, while he drops anchor. It's not just me, is it?
-
...Eli Roth.
-
Start a petition for Blade 4!!! Norrington as director & Terrence Stamp as ole' Drac himself.
-
German Terrorist #5 from DIE HARD to star in prequel. Says the writer, "We really want to explore the origins of the character, his childhood, his journey through adolescence, his motivations for becoming a terrorist, how he rose through the ranks of a criminal organization and ultimately how he came to work for Hans Gruber. We really feel that fans are itching to see the personal story of Terrorist #5."
-
True Blood, DayBreakers, Blood: The last vampire.
-
Snipes did a solid job but White is in a physical class all his own as well as being an insanely talented martial artist. When you've got pussies like Matt Damon and Ben Affleck starring in high profile action flicks while a guy like White can only get bit parts, you've got to ask what the fuck is wrong with Hollywood.
-
I wish I was dead.
-
Dorff would be too old.
They want to compete with the "Twilight" movies.
I know how they . . . do whatever that process is that substitutes for thinking. -
And though it's an infamous line at this point, I'm still not fond of obvious one-liners and 'Muther fuckers always trying to ice skate uphill" is one of the worst but overall the first Blade is a brilliant comic book movie. The intermittent time-lapse camera work...the focus on Blade's car, etc...all great stuff. Some of the acting is slightly hammy but Dorff and Snipes we're perfect casting (Dorff is without question the best overall villain in the Blade movie series). Not to mention, anyone who puts Tracey Lords in a movie now is a genius in my book.
-
Just like lucas did with star wars. In the first part of the prequel trilogy, the man (or chick) who sired Deacon Frost will be bloodied up and dying asking for dorf to kill him and dorf reluctantly gives him/her a stake to do it with. Cut to Dorf walking away emotional yet manning up while his sire kills themself. Then they can completely negate this badass death and resurrect his sire for part 2 so they can say some more witty one-liners and then inexplicably die a dumb death in the early stages of part 3. Yay im a screenwriter! Now off I go to make unborn 2 with the hot chick that used to be in kindergarten cop when she was a young'un!
-
Bale was really good in Batman Begins but his bruce wayne was far from tortured. As far as Dark Knight goes I did not like his performance. It was wooden, talky and unemotive. I think the best performances are ones where you can tell what the character is feeling without having to spell it out in dialoge, too often in the dark knight we are given endless dialoge explaining their actions and feelings, instead of just seeing them.
-
Can't we just get the apocalypse ending originally for Blade III and go from there...? Why did they remove it from B3? And for the record RHURGAH Bale stinks as Batman, his Bruce Wayne is a douche bag whiner who made no real choices on his own - he just ran away from everything. Young Bruce Wayne MADE the choice to perfect his mind, body etc. to fight crime and stop what happened to him from happening to anyone else. Thats what makes Bats the best superhero - his inner strength. That power is greater than even Superman. Nolan's Batman...to me he resembles nothing of the Dark Knight... Crybaby Bruve was lucky that blond bitch came out of NOWHERE and shot Joe Chill first ... Batman being slapped like some trick by Katie Holmes...lame lame lame... I hate Bale (now)...he stunk up T4 as well... KEATON is, was and always WILL BE BATMAN... As much as you marks love those flicks I'll admit the new bat films are more well rounded films but neither 2 have a thimble's worth of the imagination or fantasy of Burtons... and NO ONE has gotten bats right yet because as I RECALL his first appearance was in DETECTIVE COMICS!! He is the dark knight detective...yet never have I seen him solve a FUCKING MYSTERY... MASK OF THE PHANTASM IS STILL THE BEST BAT FLICK...hands down...
-
Aside from Batman Returns and Batman Forever, Blade was the only real comic book movie to come out of the 90s. It's a classic. I hated Blade 2 (reminded me of a video game) and have not seen the third one.
-
someone mentioned this up there, forget who but could they explain that a little more? the only thing i can think is Whistler but being a sequel they "had" to bring him back and it worked in their favor that we only hear the gunshot and not see it. yes it was still silly but not too surprising. so if that isnt the continuity issue what is?
-
You think they'll really get money to make these? Not for the next ten years, which means never.
-
That's what we really want.
-
Tax evasion is Blade's kryptonite
-
didn't fuck with continuity to my mind
-
...but this doesn't really make sense. I know Hollywood execs are desperate to re-polish old shit and make it shine again, but I wouldn't believe this story if Stephen Dorff himself told me while visiting the set and crew of the "Deacon Frost Chronicles Vol. 1".
Seriously. Blade is awesome. Whistler is awesome. Deacon Frost is pretty cool. But this makes no sense.
Blade: Trinity fucked up what I thought was the natural conclusion to the trilogy...Blade coming face to face with his SISTER! First movie he discovers his Mom is alive and has been fucking Deacon; second movie he gets surprised by a young black teenage girl who has mad skillz and a quick posturing fight is teased before her identity is revealed; the third film should have had the girl grown up and the new "apprentice" of the vampire nation.
Am I right? Or am I right? Going to Dracula, oh sorry..."Drake" was dumb. Otherwise I liked Reynolds and Biel in the movie (chicks w/ bow & arrows are hot - see Keira/King Arthur). But the story pushed the movie on the lame side. -
Not an origin story about BLADE, but 3 movies about a guy who died in the first movie. Damn whats happening to Hollywood.
-
this is a bad idea. Why not do one where Blade gets sent to prison for tax evasion and has to survive the brutal butt pirates from Ward C? That, my freinds, is Hollywood Gold.
-
Not by Norrington, by someone else and direct to VHS sort of thing.
-
Spider-Man prequel in which we watch Norman Osborn sire Harry.
Iron Man prequel in which we watch Jeff Bridges beard grow.
And of course the Daredevil prequel where Wilson Fisk undergoes a radical transformation from white to black. -
The coke and meth must be damn good in these Hollyweird meetings. WTF. A Blade movie without Snipes? And as someone said earlier, I am sick of these bony white dudes being passed off as action stars. Matt Damon would not last a second on the south side of Chicago, but put White ther eand at least he make a fool think about whopping his ass.

The Gate Part 5,000 should come out before another Blade.
by yoyodynepropulsionsystems
That movie absolutely rules. The guy evil workman who got himself stuck in the wall always freaked me out. Is the Gate- 20 Years later still coming out?
-
You should check out THE POWER OF ONE (1992) with Dorff (and Morgan Freeman in a part). I think it's your style. It feels like an AMAD or AMAW movie.
-
I know that i am definitely in the minority but La Liga is a great modern day b-movie. it teams fantastical literary archetypes, it has good yet cheesy dialogue, good yet cheesy cgi, good yet cheesy actors. stuart townsend is awesome, the guy who plays nemo rocks and sean connery in his last film!!

I loved the Blade series, and I'd rather see pt 4
by joker gordon levitt
And I think it should be an "I Am Legend" type film. Blade vs La Magra Vampires. And throw some very powerful Reapers in there also. Bring back Abigail Whistler as a sidekick, and Hannibal King reverted back to a vampire. Stephen Dorff as the malcontent Blood God, waiting for Blade to end his reign.
-
The Bruce Wayne in the comics rarely lets his tortured psychology break through. As to Bale's Batman performance being wooden, Batman in the comics is often accused of having little to no heart because he so rarely allows his emotion to seep through the cowl. He is stoic, disciplined and almost always emotionally detached which is why he's often portrayed as an outsider in the Justice League and even within his own circle of Bat-heroes. That said, I think Bale did a great job of emoting through the costume, specifically in the scenes where he watches over Gordon's family after he fakes his death and the scene where he stands amongst the ruins of the factory where Rachel died. Other than the voice sounding a bit off at times, I really think Bale has effectively nailed both characters. (And yes, Bruce Wayne and Batman are two separate entities)
-
Stephen Dorff made a better villain than "Drake" Dracula did in pt 3. And Norrington has made the best Blade movie so far. Good enough for the Matrix to repeat the black leather + kung fu recipe and make bajillions.
-
it is better than a possible "Nightstalkers" spinoff trilogy. The horror.
-
that's like saying eating regular crap is better than eating crap after six straight days of mexican food. Yeah it won't be quite as nasty but would you still want to eat it?
-
I met him once at a Deftones gig before they broke big and he was walking around in a suit jacket. Yes, a suitjacket at a Deftones gig. I met him thru a mutual friend and he was a total self-absorbed d-bag. If this rumor is true it should go straight to DVD.
-
No one gives a shit. People care even less about a Steven Dorff toplined prequel in a 2nd tier franchise.
And enough with the fucking presumed trilogies. Worry about making one good fucking movie first and then worry about possible sequels. -
So they're going to make a Blade movie MINUS the star of the movie" Whitey you are something else. I remember seeing Blade advertised in the dailynews TV section and it only had Dorf's name no mention of Snipes so this doesn't surprise me at all.
-
And still, no one will see these movies. And why not make a vampire movie but drop the Blade bullshit. If Blade isn't going to be in the flick, why f'n bother?

-

-
When he killed Udo Kier's character and then is on the Board of Vampires or whatever. How utterly uninteresting this is. It's just a lame cash-in on the Blade franchise and I think they could just revisit Blade (WITH the actual character and actor in the film) and do some good. I'm one of the few that loves the first film and has mixed feelings about 2 and 3. I thought the original was great. Good action, good characters, gritty and bloody. That's all it needed. No sequel, no prequel about the villain. But I guess if there has to be one, I'd prefer Norrington.
-
They never give you enough bang for the ending you already know is going to happen.
We saw what it was like to see how Darth Vader went to the dark side, and it was lame.
Loved League of Extraordianry Gents. Must be one of the few.
-
You had two good Blade movies and then fucked it all up with the third one... and nobody cares about Decon Frost, let alone for three prequel films that don't star Blade... Reboot Blade, the Punisher and tie the next Spidey along with them into the whole universe thing they've got going with Iron Man, Hulk and Avengers...

Knows that Snipes is not in shape to play Blade right now. He looked skinny as shit.

It was very sad, but dignified. I, and my family, have met members of the Jackson family before, several times, and I can tell you that they are good people. I can't speak for Poppa Joe, but the rest of the family are very kind. Sometimes when I forget that Janet is a real human being, I remind myself of the day that I met her, it was very unusual, and brief...but she was very kind, that being the unusual part...as most people, I find, are just not that openly generous, and with complete strangers, at that? She made a rich impression on me that I will never forget.

Banzai Rootskibango: Dorff Played The Villain In The First Blade
by media messiah
He's the guy who dodged the bullet's in the slow motion sequence that inspired the Wachowski Brothers Bullet Time effect in The Matrix.
-
You get many offers of payment to shit on director's chests?
-
And focus on minor characters... What? Birds of Prey??? Batman and Catwoman's daughter! Never mind.
-
Can choke to death on cum-filled feces. That cocksucker ruined a great comic book.
-
I would like to see what he would have done with "Terminator 4" if the script was tight. I was extremely disappointed with the script by James Robinson (writer of the "Starman" and "The Golden Age" comic).
-
You can watch "Blade 3" but you'll hate yourself in the morning.
-
after all these years. i cant sleep cuz i cant stop thinking about deacon frost and wondering where he came from and how he got cast in blade 1.
-
Just hope if they do this prequel, dont put another actor,Wesley Snipes is the only and unique Blade,he earned that
-
Dorff would need another good actor too play off if they want to emulate that movie.
-
cuz they got to meet Janet...how dare you!! :P just kidding but yeah, i'm a huge fan of hers so color me jealous.
-
Fuck Hollywood..
-
I like the first blade movie, thought the second one was better. Hated the third one. Am totally clueless about how this is even a "decent" idea to someone with a checkbook. Looks like Twilight is making some fuckin execs crazy eh??
-
that the source article is from 2008
-
I noticed it, as you can see from my two posts.
-
ah, most have missed those.
must be a really slow news day -
I met the guy ages ago while he was editing The Last Minute. I was a fan of Death Machine since the first day it came out on video and got to talk to him about it. A buddy of mine introduced me to him and the dude was cool as shit to me. I believe Norrington's got the vision to do something cool, I just don't see Blade prequels or anything to do with the Crow them though. (Leave The Crow be.) If someone wants to do something with Blade, how about a wrap up or ending to the TV show?
-
Imagine 10 years from now when you can lean back in your sofa, pop the 6 x Disc BLADE SAGA and watch NINE HOURS of pure Stephen Dorff awesomeness! Imagine the potential!
-
THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN is fun flick. Eat shit haters.
-
I remember when I watched Blade the first time. I though: "That was decent, but the villain was fucking lame - Stephen Dorff trying to take on Wesley Snipes???" Yet here we are. I really can't see this ever happening. No exec in his right mind will hand over millions to an ailing franchise starring a no name actor. No star power, no sex appeal, no movie.
-
They may as well take this over the top and into the stratosphere. Have vampire Dorff face off against Tricky Dick and his minions. He'll turn Checkers into a vampire dog, lead a team of Viet Cong vampires in a White House assault, and turn out to be Deep Throat.
-
according to bloody disusting they are calling it a reboot because its "a new story and new characters". ummmm, wouldn't that simply make it another sequel then since thats what each sequel was?
-
Forget all the media hype and all that about the Jacksons, they are very nice people. In regard to Janet, there is a very sweet person there, a very special spirit within her. I have met many people in my life, including celebraties, since was a child, but no one ever left a mark like her. She approached me, and said hello in a surprising manner as I was attempting to ignore her, in order to give her some personal space, and it took me aback, in a good way, as it was meant. I will never forget her for that. I hope the Jacksons know peace on this day, and every day into the future.

Should've done a flick years ago starring...
by itsjust_notcool_anymore_baby
Kurtwood Smith as Clarence Boddicker in a prequel. If they really wanted to pull this kinda stunt, that's the only real villain I can see carrying his own flick.
-
I kinda like it, it's got cool far-fetched EFX. What am I missing here?
-
thats good to hear about her. i always got the impression she was sweet and pretty cool based on interviews. actually all of the Jackson kids seem sweet and kind, even LaToya despite her "kookiness" and things seems like a nice person. their mom should be proud. of course the same goes for Micheal, i outgrew him as a fan long ago and whatever he's guilty of or not, he's always seemed like a nice guy. anyway dont wanna derail this talk back so..........BLADE FUCKING ROOLZ WOOOO!!! :P

Yes. Quite often.

on its own, LXG was decent... but after reading the
by jackknifed_juggernaut
graphic novel, it becomes obvious that there were things left out and/or changed that would've made the film a classic. Edward Hyde raping the Invisible Man? fucking outrageous.

fucked me in the ass on the blade set, meh, he's got a small penis

Is Quint ever going to explain why a story from Oct 2008 piqued his interest all of a sudden?
-
Next Time mention EMPIRE Magazine or Comics2Film has the story already...
-
how about a remake of...wait for it....Howard the Duck!!!Run bitches!!
-
THE ORIGINAL WAS THE BEST

The last two Blade movies were bad, I admit it, but, such foul language and visuals??? You sound like a white woman who was on Love Lines about 4 weeks ago, who had an obsession with Chili Dogging???David Goyer destroyed Blade, I'll admit that...but can't we be a bit less colorful with the visuals???

StarBlitzer> Great quote! Kristofferson rules! "But you're so big?"
cymbalta4thedevil> While I enjoy the Blade discussion, you're right...there should be some acknowledgment this is a questionable source story in the first place. Not only was Stephen's name misspelled, but whoever put this story online missed the word "be" when quoting Dorff describing the new trilogy - "It will cool".
Yeah, I'm sure Dorff said "Frost is the one character I can't shake"...and he'll say the same thing if Britney gets him to be in another video.
"Blade" was about...um, Blade. Whistler is the shit, but as virtually everybody has suggested on this board, nobody gives a pant load about a Deacon Frost movie. Nothing against Dorff or his performance in the movie, but this story has zero credibility. -
That Quint linked to a 2008 story instead of just saying that Comics 2 Film had the updated info from Norrington, which Empire and Sci-Fi Wire also commented on yesterday. Probably other sites did too. No shame in not being the first with a story.

A Blade Prequel Trilogy not starring Wesley Snipes? No.
A Deacon Frost Trilogy starring Stephen Dorff? Fuck yes!
The pros definitely outweigh the cons.
Stephen Dorff is awesome. -
Sweet Jesus, one of them would be iffy, but I'd give it a think. Not three.
-
And without David Goyer. Who would want to see a movie(s) about a guy who got his ass handed to him by Blade when he was a god? If you suck when you're god-like, how much more interesting were you to begin with? Blade 1 was the only one worth watching anyway.
