I am – Hercules!!

The creators of “Lost” have informed ABC that they can’t possibly contain the final season of their sci-fi drama in its allotted 17 hours, and have been awarded an 18th. They know this even before a single frame of the sixth season has been shot. It must be positively jam-packed with exciting developments! Maggie Grace, who played rape-cave-fearing Shannon (mostly in the first season) has been hinting she might be back in Hawaii soon; I imagine that a show famous for its flashbacks could have a lot of departed cast members shipping out over the Pacific in the next several months. I say it might have been cool to see Jacob visiting Boone, Eko, Cindy, Claire, et al, in the final episode of last season. Find James Hibberd’s Hollywood Reporter story on the matter here.
