AMELIA resurfaces with a Trailer!
Hey folks, Harry here - with the trailer for a film about probably the greatest celebrity mystery ever... though the film seems to be about everything before that - why what happened was so newsworthy. Mira Nair is an incredible filmmaker and I'm thinking this looks pretty damn good, but the key is how it all wraps up. I'm curious to see how they handle the last act of the film. Swank's ass isn't going to look one-fortieth as good as Amy Adams' did in Night at the Museum 2. The rest of the movie might have sucked, but that fucking gorgeous thing attached to her back made up for it.

But I'm sure Swank will be fairly fantastic also. I just have such a crush on Blanchett, I'd watch her in anything, and shes such a fantastic performer. Swank has only been dead-on with Eastwood behind the camera, so I hope she brings it to this. Those 2 are probably the top caliber actresses of today, glad one of them is headlining this.

Guess what? I saw these two movies recently with Richard Gere, one was called The Hoax, the other and far superior one was called The Hunting Party. These movies came with a big surprise involving Richard Gere. It's not that they were both good movies, Gere has been in a lot of good movies. No, the surprise was in both of these movies, Richard Gere actually did some acting! And he was pretty good at it, too! It took a while but after all these years it seems Richard Gere has become an actor and not just a felcher who whispers the guy in charge says, "Action!"

I don't understand why these trailers always pop up and then vanish. Are they not complete or something? Why do the studios always do this? You'd think it wouldn't matter if people saw them....They ARE trailers for Christ Sake.
Anyway, I don't know what this film looks like but I've already found "my" Amelia and it's Amy Adams! OMG! She is worth sitting threw Night at the Museum 2 for. I want to clone her and then make that clone wear that outfit for the rest of it's life just so I can stare at it's ass in it. I felt like such a fucking pervert sitting around a bunch of kids with a massive erection because of her. -

she was stupid. She chose to dump a heavy but important radio antenna before heading for Howland Island. That antenna could have helped her find her way there after losing her bearings. Also, she supposedly just wasn't nearly as good a pilot as she was talked up. Lots more guts than skill.

1) Hilary Swank seems like desperate Award season baiting casting. I would never consider her for the Amelia Earheart role.
2) Julia Roberts must be throwing a fit right now; she is down 2-1 against Hilary, and Hilary is poised to go one up on her.
3) Amy Adams has a sweet, sweet ass.
4) Earheart died for the same reason Steve Fosset died or any other adventurer dies, you have to risk death to actually achieve something and you have to be a little bit bullshit insane.
