X-MEN!! WISEGUY!! 30 ROCK!! PARKS!! MONSTER!! GIGANTOR!! TWILGHT ZONE!! Chuck Jones!! HercVault!!

Published at:  Jun 24, 2009 2:39:40 PM CDT

SPOILER ALERT !!

I am – Hercules!!

This final season of “The Girls Next Door,” on sale today, sadly does not follow Hugh Hefner’s blonde “girlfriends” as they found their ways off the Hef’s property grounds and into the hotel rooms of a Philadelphia Eagles receiver and a Mindfreak. That’s the reality series I’d pay to see.

Kendra Wilkinson, the youngest and most attractive of the three “girlfriends,” now has her own E! show, which has already scored the channel’s highest-rated reality debut since 2002's premiere of “The Anna Nicole Show.”

Tom and Jerry: The Chuck Jones Collection contains the 34 cat and mouse shorts Jones created for MGM between 1963 and 1967. These followed Jones’ genius quarter-century run with Daffy, Bugs and Wile E. Coyote at Warner Bros. and preceded his deathless MGM adaptation of “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” for CBS. The set also comes with two documentaries: “Tom and Jerry...and Chuck” and “Chuck Jones: Memories of a Childhood.”

Herc’s Popular Pricing Pantry

There’s a new edition of Stephen Cannell’s supercool and highly serialized FBI/mob drama “Wiseguy” arriving Aug. 25; you’d be smart to lock in its current Amazon price NOW at $12.99!! Crazy cheap for a 22-hour first season; used copies of these same 22 episodes on the old half-season sets currently run you a minimum of $114.80!!!

The wonderful, extra-crammed DEFINITIVE-EDITION “Twilight Zone” sets once sold for more than $100 each. Last week they sold on Amazon for $69.99. They’re momentarily $27.99/season!!

Last week a season set of “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” starring a dishy twentysomething Mary Tyler Moore, sold for $39.99; at the moment they’re all less than $17.50/each!! It’s a particularly good deal when you realize the first season contains 30 episodes and the other four contain 32 each.

You can momentarily own EVERY episode of “Buck Rogers In The 25th Century (from Glen A. Larson, creator of “Battlestar Galactica”!) for $15.49!!

If you don’t get all the love for the late, great David Carradine, feel strongly encouraged to have a gander at his compelling, seminal, badass early-1970s TV series, arguably his finest work and coincidentally just $15.99/season at the moment.

“From The Earth To The Moon,” the entire extra-packed signature edition, has fallen to its lowest price ever: $11.99!! People were paying $49 for this set last year.

The Blu-ray version of “Mad Men’s” first season is momentarily $24.49!! That’s cheaper than the DVD version!!!

The first 10 seasons of “Cheers,” one of the four funniest sitcoms ever forged, with Woody and Norm and and Lilith Sternan and Nick Tortelli, have fallen for the moment to $16.99 or less each!!

$19.99 Shield!!
(60% OFF!!)

$18.99 Complete Animated Trek!!

    The WISEGUY concern...

    by hapapapa72

Echoed on Amazon seems to be, does this "Complete Season 1" also include the Mel Profitt storyline? I don't wanna jump on this just to find out that it doesn't.

Who Will Save Us Now? From What? Zack Snyder?

    by starwarsredux

Seriously, that's a very iffy tagline for the WATCHMEN director's cut. It's practically begging to be lampooned. And that image is ridiculous. Why can't it just be the bloodstained smiley? Eh?

X-Men Vol 3 & X-Men Vol 4 - September 22(forget scrolling, just do a word-search; it's a lot easier and saves on the aggravating frustration of looking for a needle in haystack)

    by clarencebeaks

Really want the whole season in one package. Still, if it isn't then I would still buy this first half. Pretty darn cheap.
