FAME turns it around with their new trailer!

Published at:  Jun 17, 2009 12:37:37 PM CDT

Hey folks, Harry here... and as much as I hated that first trailer for FAME the pointless remake... I like this trailer for FAME the remake that I'll know see. This has the right feel, emotion and look of a FAME movie. Thus, I'll now give it a shot. Check it out and see how you feel...

See FAME in Glorious QUickTimE!

    Transformer Review where yours Harry?

    by strider white

Just saw it tonight at the Irish Premierer and just about to watch the 80's cartoon movie again.. In a nutshell Bay sport fucked me and didn't buy me a drink first or give me his number.. However he was a great fuck.. I remember Harry's link last week about best summer movies well this is up there pure geek heaven better that the first movie.. Megan is hotter in this too plus you never see her thumbs which trust me is a good thing.. Ok you can pick the movie apart like that last guys review in this talk back, but this isn't a dvd movie it made for the cinema and was a hell of a ride.. Plus all the cheap jokes got huge laughs in the cinema even the thug life transformer twins (One even has a gold tooth).. Apart from that this movie is fucking epic in scale the action is great not as hard to follow as the first movie... Really good dark story that marries up well with Transformer Comics too.. Not sure if we will see Transformers 3 though..

    Jackson Rathbone Talks about
    " ACTION PACKED" New Moon.
"He did say that the recent trailer didn't show the entire scene of him getting thrown into the piano, but that he did get to do a lot more of his own stunts in the movie. "That's only the beginning of it. They didn't show the entire thing. It's gonna be a really action-packed movie.""

    high school pride

    by wrathfulgrape

this was my high school and can't help but feel some pride...i remember one of the actors playing a drama teacher in the original was an actual drama teacher! anyways, the school is actually really state of the art, a block away from lincoln center (cool fucking campus) and really nice. yunjin kim from lost was in my class...jesus effin' christ she had a lot of surgery...and she was kind of one of those slutty girls too. def not the demure person she portrays herself to be. coolest graduate was adrien brody. nice guy and cool as heck

i couldnt even make it through the entire preview first, we have charles dutton, basically rehashing his role from rudy (listen to the cadence) we have kelsey grammer looking concerned and we have way too many good looking kids, who look like they came straight from central casting this is fame for the high school musical crowd while the orignal was raw, this seems way too polished just another worthless remake by the hollywood crowd

FAME and the worst of our society

    by p5mmr9

Musicals such as FAME seek to further accentuate the ridiculous emphasis our society and culture places on valueless, empty - FAME. It's the American Idol effect...the idea that somehow being a good singer or dancer makes you "special" and "important" - while most average Americans couldn't tell you who Jonas Salk is...I will not see this movie.

    FAME?!

    by repo_man

This is the most stupid fucking idea I’ve ever heard. With the preponderance of reality shows offering people a chance to become famous for being talentless fuckwits, what the fuck is the point of a film about people who go to a stage school and WORK for fame ? It’s an outdated notion – the kind of morons that apply for big brother / x factor / wife slap / whatever will sneer at this as being a relic of bygone times when some kind of actual talent was a prerequisite for getting your face on TV, and everyone with a brain will sneer at this for being the top of a very, very big pile of utterly fucking pointless remakes. How much does this dreck cost to make ? More than a hospital ? CUNTS…

Sit on your pile of cash, dreaming of sparkly male vampires, and leave the writing on this site to others. Oh, and this trailer looks so BAD, its almost funny....the fact that you like means 2 things; 1) you are clearly a closeted homosexual (not that theres anything WRONG with that) and 2) your taste is getting worse every week

Is Jonas Salk the one Alec Baldwin played on SNL?

    by cherryvalance

    :D

Okay. First. This is a remake of a popular 80s movie, that had an extremely popular spin off TV series. Therefore the original group of Gen X geeks who dominated the internet and this site probably did watch one of the two or both. Whether they want to admit it or not.

Second. This whole musicals = gay thing is really old and stupid. Any guy my age who'd like to pretend that they hate all musicals can just shut up because you all love TOMMY, so there. :p The rest of you are clearly kids because you don't even know how to curse right yet. And to further undefine musicals as gay, think of an actor you think is a macho man, search Youtube for his name and the word "sings" and if you don't find your manly man trying to sing his manly heart out I'll be shocked.
