Looks obviously edited. Not good. Transformers clip was much better. That felt like a complete scene, instead of snippets haphazardly thrown together, like this one.

we know that there is usually about 5-10 mins of pure action in a harry potter film. that is no criticism - that 5-10 mins really counts because the rest of the film is lovely character stuff. but if you have seen ALL the 5-10 mins of action before you go in, it will be a rather disappointing experience, no? you don't need to oversell this, WB!

Hey don't get me wrong, I'm looking as forward to this as any other fan out there, but what was the point of that clip? I think it maybe showed us technically about a whole 6 seconds of stuff we'd "not yet seen", just really a second filled in here and there between the main parts of the scenes we've already been shown.
After the studio already totally fucked us over by making us wait a whole HALF A YEAR for literally no other reason than money, I'm ready just to see the goddamn thing once and for all. -
If you haven't figured that out, you don't deserve a computer with an internet connection.

It has atmosphere and feels like its own movie, instead of an adaptation. I really like what Yates has done with this franchise

It's a longer clip but one that was in the very first trailer I believe. Really shows nothing at all.

All the great reports on AICN about the IMAX and IMAX 3D versions of current films, and the only two IMAX houses in the entire state are in museums that don't show commercial films...the rumor is, that there will be a new theatre complex with HUGE standard theatre screens (why pay to see a film on a screen when your big screen HDTV is just about as big!)and an IMAX screen that will be showing commercial films...It's supposed to be at the now defunct Winrock Mall in Albuquerque...can't come soon enough for me!!

Links worked fine for people inside the US. People outside the US can deal with it. It's AICN so if somebody wasn't crying about something it wouldn't be right. It's not like the content of any of these things is particularly hard to find anyway. Go find one that works in your country. Do we have to do everything for you?

Rowling is a billionaire, but nonetheless, a complete asswad. That grandstanding stunt of hers - "Dumbledore is gay!" was the lamest weakest assault on hapless citizenry courtesy of the P.C. Police EVAH. I want to laugh whenever I see a Harry Potter book now. But then Rowling is a fan of unseemly relationships. Witness Ron/Hermione. Total contrivance. Massive fail.

Scenes like this should be more quiet and given room to breath, but just like Order the whole thing's just flowing too fast with no impact. Cuaron should have been brought back - the only good director to take on this series - and he should have brought John Williams with him. David Yates knows how to frame shots and the effects are second to none but it's all down to the shit editing. We shall see.

I can't be arsed to re watch it along with the ad to find out, but did Dumbledore set the wardrobe aflame without actually using his wand? If not, ignore me I was distracted while that bit was on. If so, its shit like that which pisses me off. Would it be any harder to just get the actor to point a bit of wood? Why would he bother with a wand at all if he didn't need one.

The vast majority don't know that this website even exists or couldn't understand the clip if they could see it. A bunch of them likely get the same information they might get here from a site they do understand. AICN is in Austin Texas. If you can't see the links they post find it somewhere else but please, by all means keep on crying about it in here. Your whines contribute to the overall "pitch" of the site perfectly.

Why "we" posted this neat clip that "you" apparently want to see but can't. Go find a version you can see and quit bitching about a site in another country posting something you can't get. That's like me griping because I don't get to watch Romanian TV or download new BBC shows. It's just the way things work and AICN can't do anything about that. So, what you're saying is that you, personally, have done NOTHING for anyone outside of the US. You are merely claiming credit for work that your fellow countrymen have done. Your sense of entitlement comes from being squeezed out on American soil. Nice. It's quite easy to find the Harry Potter clip on other sites - that's the point! There's no reason why AICN can't be respectful of it's users outside of the US by linking to a clip that is viewable by everyone who visits AICN as opposed to using an MTV clip that can be viewed only by people in the US. Your inability to find and download new BBC shows on the internet is evidence of your ignorance of how the internet does (or should) work. On a final note: I admit that your Transformers comment made me chuckle. I'm happy you're not taking this exchange too seriously. This is, after all, only a talkback on a geeky entertainment gossip site. There. I'm all whined out. Happy? ;)
