-
He needs a lesson on manliness from the Swayne asap.
-
If I get banned at least I'll know why.
-
Get it right fuckers!
-
Posers
-
Can't believe my reason was good enough to get on the list.
Wasn't sure if it would work, so I put myself on the list for a free screenin' of UP tomorrow night, too.
Time to flip a coin, I guess. -
Lol, surely you don't need to rig your own competitions to get in?! :D
-
As well as my heterosexual life mate.
-
It's not that everyone's going solo, my +1 is listed below me, so I'm assuming others are too.
-
i wouldn't go for free to a pg-13 comedy-horror written by the guy who did spiderman 3.
-
However, I'm in NY, so a screening in Texas doesn't really help. It's gonna be a long haul until Friday...(sob)
-
WHAT DOES ONE HAVE TO WRITE IN ORDER TO GET INTO ONE OF THESE GOD-FORSAKEN SCREENINGS?!?!?!?!
sorry. emotional reaction to never winning these contests...and in life. -
i'll take your invite to this one, if your coin decides to send you to see UP ;)
-
You bunchin a fuckin virgins.
-
since I figured out that Carlos Mendieta got in twice (119 & 127)
-
Why are she, himself and his wife on this list? Dumb.

You people are aware that the Cannes Festival exists?
by one_guy_from_andromeda
The biggest film festival in the world and you guys report on vibrating chairs and video game trailers! What the fuck?
-
I saw that 10 years ago!
-
You nincompoop, getting away from Spider-Man is what makes Raimi NOT a commercial hack!
-
Well, since Harry et al don't seem to care about movies in the slightest anymore and the only way to do this is in the talkbacks here are at least the jury decisions of Cannes 2009.

Maybe some of you care about this stuff. But probably not. News about state of the art theater chairs and trailers for videogames are much cooler i guess... -
Is there any new Army of Darkness DVD coming out this year? There's only been about fifty billion of them.
-
You need to apologize to McG for that god awful review and the way you spoke of the film and the man behind it who treated you pretty well. As you can see in your TS thread a lot of people agreed with your take on the movie and a lot disagreed but almost everyone thought you were way to over the top in your treatment of the director and in fact the whole production, actors included.
-
Waitin' to hear back from the guy who handles the website I've done reviews for, to see if he wants one for Drag Me to Hell or not. That'll be the decidin' factor.
-
cant even find a trailer for it. and wanna see antichrist. and wow @ Charlotte Gainsbourg winning best actress.
-
I'm looking forward to several of those films, especially THE WHITE RIBBON and ANTICHRIST.
-
See you there tomorrow night my friends!
-
haha, i was half-joking, but if you find out that you can't (or won't) make it, please let me know!
-
WE ARE ALL FOLLOWERS TO THIS MAN.
-
Where was his review of Wolverine and more importantly did he get any action ?
-
Didn't have the cash or what?
-
And we should stop calling him "McG"...what an idiotic name. His name is Joe Nichol. He's a director...not some rap-star or anything like that. Are we to really take a director named "McG" seriously?
-
....nuff said.
-
And nobody is paying them to go, so no reviews.
-
His name is Joe McGinty or some shit like that...hence the McG. And Harry just hurts the site when he acts like that. I mean sure tell the truth about a movie but he set out on a path to humiliate them. I mean a lot of people liked the movie , even on this lame ass site with all the idiots who patrol it there were a lot of people who liked it at least somewhat. So it couldn't have been abysmal or been deserving of Harry shitting all over the director.
-
What's a regular guy have to to to get into your screnings lately? That's five in a row the Wife and I have been shot down for! Oh well. Enjoy the Raimi, Oh Lucky Ones.
-
Loved the movie. If original horror films don't start doing better b.o., we're going to be stuck in sequel/remake hell forever. I know that "Up" will be huge, but I still can't believe how many adults are into these Pixar films - I dread having to suffer through each one with my daughter.
-
and an extra-large McG? Good Christ, what a stupid name. Or, as I'm sure the poor boob would rather one react: Dat gangsta, yo! Sheeit!
-
Drag Me to Hell needs to do good business, because it's the only big-budget film this summer that's not a sequel, prequel, or remake. Get some new material, Hollywood, you useless puss!

Actually I guess District 9 isn't based on anything either
by fa_tass_dinomolester
Unless you count the short film!
-
I just hope to god I'm able to buy tickets to the Night of the Creeps reunion show.
I'll swallow you soul! -
i cant believe they pussied out on the R rating.
-
Granted, there's not a lot of straight up gore, but there any plenty of quality horror elements. I like how they worked around the lack of gore with other little gross out tricks. At times, the jump scares seemed a little overdone, but it's a solidly entertaining movie. Definitely recommended
-
I have to wait till Thursday to see it. Goddamn NYC and my lack of skill in obtaining preview passes.
-
Sam Raimi is extremely over-rated. And his "horror" films are embarassing to sit through. YOu couldn't pay me to sit through this.
-
Went to the screenin' tonight, ordered my Drafthouse food & drink, and lasted 'til they brought me the bill. Soon as I had it, I took it to the counter out front, paid, and left. Don't know or care how the movie ended, it was just too disgustin' for words. No real scares to be had, and one part of the curse looked like a bad SNL skit from thirty years ago. I guess I should have gone to UP instead.
-
and "Wonder Boys", but loved Star Trek, makes this sounds even better! Bring on Drag Me to Hell.
-
that Nog has his head stuck in the replicator again, and he's been replicated into a Mongokian Sock-Moose.
-
Just came back from the flicks and thought it was excellent - plenty of shocks and the low rating doesn't affect its ability to deliver.
-
I never said anything about this movie one way or the other. Like I said before actually READ others posts before you attack them shithead. Oh and Wonder Boys is still garbage. Good luck on being the only one who thinks otherwise.
-
Dude, ya might want to read the talkback before ya get all pissed. Honestly, I did wonder where that bit about Wonder Boys came from...
-
How was it???
-
Your name isn't enough like mine for me to even think he was talking to you and the TB is pretty long so I assumed he was talking to me. He's still a fucking moron though.
