Live in Chicago? Wanna see Todd Phillips' Vegas misadventure epic THE HANGOVER? Capone has the details!!!
Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here.
Next week in Chicago, we'll have two big AICN exclusive screenings right after Memorial Day, so let's dive right in. Earlier this week, I interviewed the extremely cool and alarmingly hanssome actor Bradley Cooper about his new comedy THE HANGOVER, from director Todd (OLD SCHOOL) Phillips. THE HANGOVER is, to put it quite mildly, one messed-up movie filled with outrageous behavior, demented, perverse, and filled with images that are going to take me a long time to drive from my memory. And I say these things in the best possible way. The early reviews have been strong (our own Mr. Beaks raved about it back in March), and this new spin on the Vegas bachelor party adventure has a great deal going for it from my perspective too, so much so that I wanted to show it to Chicago-area folks as soon as possible.
This exclusive AICN screening takes place Tuesday, May 26 at 8:00 pm at a theater in downtown Chicago (the exact location will only be given to contest winners).
Here's how to secure a pass good for you and one guest: Send me an email at capone@aintitcoolmail.com with the subject line "AM I MISSING A TOOTH?" In the body of the email, I need your name (guests' names are not required), and a brief description of something you did under the influence that you don't remember and people told you about later. If this has never happened to you, you may not be fortified enough to handle this movie; that's your call. Who am I to judge?
Keep your answer brief--limited it to 75 words or less. I'll be judging these on creativity, shock value, and possibly your answer to a question about same-sex marriage. Winners will receive an email from me over the weekend. Good luck, everyone! Hope to see you there.

with Todd Phillips doing a Q&A afterward. It was packed from what I heard. Tickets were free, but I couldn't go cause I had a meeting. I'm hella sad I missed it.

Liked it, didn't love it. Lots of recycled ideas but the cast is pretty solid. Beginning is weak but ending is strong. Too many bits spoiled in the trailers.
