    Hopefully he gets a better deal on Mad Men than getting cancelled halfway through a storyline, as happened with The Riches.

    by punto

    Mad Men Release ---> Retarded

    by richardalpert_timepimp

    I watched Season One thru Netflix, and have been desperately waiting to continue on an watch Season 2, except it ended almost a year ago, and the DVDs still have not been released. Turns out, they are being released about 3-4 weeks before Season 3 premieres. How the fuck does AMC expect to gain new viewers when we don't have time to catch up so we can watch the show live? Pisses. Me. Off. Doesn't make any sense. I'll guess I'll just have to watch them as fast as possible (for those of us with a life) and then DVR Season 3 until I'm caught up. Still, what a stupid fucking system. Release the DVDs in time for people to acually watch them. I'll bet Don Draper would tell you your marketing scheme is fucking bullshit.

    Cool casting, but...

    ...we all know the only part of Mad Men that really matters is Joan. Everyone else is incidental.

    Well watching Season 1 on DVD obviously didn't get you to watch Season 2 on AMC so what's your point?

    as a man who stands behind Joan and cups her breasts oh-so-gently as she works and makes catty comments to the women of Sterling Cooper who are so far beneath her. I would at least like to audition.

    I was too late

    by richardalpert_timepimp

    I started watching it mid-way through S2 I'm pretty sure, and unlike most networks, AMC doesn't put episodes of their shows on their website. So, that's my point. I wasn't aware when S2 started, began watching, and they wait an entire year to release it on DVD. It's silly.

    1964 styles

    by prossor

    The 60s was a fast changing decade for styles but I was surprised how quickly it already became more colorful in season 2 to 1. Season 1 had very reserved, dark, still the 50s since it was 1960, then then for 62 in season 2 they were already wearing all sorts of colorful shit like it was already casual day. and then shit really starts going down in 64 the first year of the counterculture so we might be looking at something from Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory here.

    "Teleporting bioterrorist" does make it sound as if he's BAMFing around like Nightcrawler, but Fringe is more X-Files than X-Men. And when they name a character after David Bowie it can't be all bad.

    Shit, I just realized Joan is Saffron from FIREFLY!

    by drath

    Was she that well endowed on that show? Totally don't remember her being THAT curvy! Wow, how long until Mad Men? We sure this isn't ALSO getting cancelled? Three more shows and the networks will have effectively killed everything I watch.
