Indie flick HESHER pulls together a helluva cast! Rainn Wilson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Natalie Portman star!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. If you've been playing attention to Joseph Gordon-Levitt over the past few years then it should be no surprise to you that he's slowly, but surely becoming one of our best young actors. From MYSTERIOUS SKIN and BRICK to the fantastic rom-com 500 DAYS OF SUMMER (hitting soon) the dude has been knocking it out of the park. Now he's not only lined up a big role in Christopher Nolan's INCEPTION, but he's fitting in an indie called HESHER being directed by Spencer Susser who did a nifty little short called I LOVE SARAH JANE and co-stars Rainn Wilson and Natalie Portman, who is also producing. Apparently Gordon-Levitt is the title character, a young man who enters the life of a 13 year old who lives with his troubled father and grandmother. Portman is the girl the young boy falls for after she saves him from a bully. Who could blame him? I'd fall in love with Natalie Portman and she doesn't even have to save me from a bully. Just sayin'... While the Hollywood Reporter has a story on this information, the news was actually broken by Gordon-Levitt himself via his website www.hitrecord.org.
