THE FIGHTER is picking up steam yet again!

Hey folks, Harry here with the rather cool news that the film THE FIGHTER, which was once set to be helmed by Darren Aronofsky and was going to star Mark Wahlberg and Brad Pitt... before everything began to fall apart - giving way to Darren leaving that project to helm THE WRESTLER instead. I didn't think we'd end up seeing THE FIGHTER get back into fighting, much less shooting shape, but according to Variety - it seems that Relativity Media has come in - and put the film together. Mark Wahlberg has continued to train for this part during its hiatus - and is still attached to play the titular character. Joining him ringside will be Christian Bale - and behind the camera calling the shots will be two time Wahlberg directing genius, David O Russell. This is definitely a film to keep our eyes on. It looks like it is shaping up to be something special!
