‘Telling Him About Teri Would Have Only Made It Worse!!’ 24 7.19!!
SPOILER ALERT !!
I am – Hercules!!
Have Nina Myers’ juices of evil finally taken hold of The Soul Patch’s brain?
The original teleplay for tonight’s episode was scrapped back in September. Showrunner Howard Gordon wasn’t happy with the scripting for the last six hours of Jack Bauer’s day in D.C., so he shut down production for more than three weeks.
"The only, only, only concern at all is getting it right," Gordon told Entertainment Weekly at the time. "Our feeling was this: We're so happy with what we've done so far, and to the extent that we had that luxury [of time], we said, 'Why not make it as good as we could?'"
A far more recent print edition of Entertainment Weekly says Annie Wersching will reprise the role of Renee Walker in the New York-set eighth season. (It’s hard to imagine now, but producers reportedly came very close to setting season seven in New York before settling on D.C.)
Elisha Cuthbert was on Letterman this week to promote her return to the show. Kim Bauer’s going to remain with the series until the end of the season, and Cuthbert told Dave she’s hoping to be part of season eight as well.
We learned last week that a government-run CTU will be back next season and a rusty Chloe O’Brien will be back working for it.
Fox says of tonight’s installment:
As the nation remains vulnerable, Jack Bauer endures the worsening pathogen pain. The FBI deals with recent deadly developments while matters involving key players takes this day into a unexpected direction. Guest Cast: Jon Voight as Jonas Hodges; Elisha Cuthbert as Kim Bauer; Michael Rodrick as Stokes; Sprague Grayden as Olivia Taylor; Glenn Morshower as Aaron Pierce; Will Patton as Alan Wilson; Karim Price as Med Tech; Gabriel Casseus as Galvez; Kathryn Gordon as Patricia.
9 p.m. Monday. Fox.

I hope Tony successfully revives Larry after Galvez leaves...
by julius dithers
...because killing Larry to preserve his cover so as to facilitate an end run on the bad guys would still make Tony contemptible. Those rewrites better not let us down.
-
Light 'em up!
-
Would broaden the scope of the series.
-
Or going back in time to stop 9-11 :)
-
Is he going to play a sociopath White House aide like he did in No Way Out? When does Henry Taylor reenter the picture?
-
I'm thinking he's playing Tony's boss in all things evil. -
I'll be watching live tonight. ;)
Summary of comments after ep aired that were at the end of the last talkback: Seaton is a mole (he was distracting both the government and Starkwood with his 'genius' plan), and I'm adopting a wait-and-see stance with Tony. The Ghost of Ryan Chappelle is outraged, by the way, that anyone gave a shit about Larry Freakin' Moss getting offed last week. -

"killing Larry to preserve his cover ... would still make Tony c
by chrth
So the ten jillion times Jack did it is ok?
-
Hey everybody, I'm taking part in a 5K walk for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society this Saturday. Normally I do a 90-mile 2-day bike ride, but my child-in-day-care related illnesses of the past year and a half have killed that as a possibility this year. So instead I'm doing the walk.
If you can help out, it'd be great. MS sucks for a whole lotta people, and every dollar gets us closer to real treatment and perhaps a cure. Any donations are tax-deductible, too. The link to the donation page is http://tinyurl.com/chrth-ms (remove spaces), thanks for taking the time to read this. -
She is a delight!
-
I've always got time for some Tony, especially if he's being an evil bastard.
-
may be a supreme fakeout? Maybe Chloe and/or Red don't actually make it ...
-
I just hope the explanation makes sense!
-
The only time we saw Jack willing to kill someone to preserve a cover was Chase back in season 3. And in that situation Jack was surrounded by bad guys who would've probably tortured Jack and Chase if he didn't go through with it. Every other time (Nina, Renee) was a fake out. Tony could have easily killed the lone Starkwood guy and told anyone he was supposedly working undercover against that Larry did it. -
But I still think Jack would've killed Larry in that exact situation if he was trying to maintain cover.
-
...possibly playing the final Big Bad. HATE the fact that said Big Bad's name is ALAN WILSON.
-
...they'd best nod sideline Hodges in favour of Wilson, or anyone else. He's been far and away one of the best 24 villains ever, and I'd like to see him either a) stick around for next season, or b) stick around until the end of this season, and meet with a reasonably epic boss death.
-
Hodges gets the chance to kill him.
-
God, I need a drink.
-
Jack also killed Chappelle in season 3
-
With millions of lives on the line if he didn't. Certainly not the same as arbitrarily murdering someone to preserve a cover. -
Dumb ass. Makes it sound new. And they shut down production for two weeks starting this week. It pays to read.
-
I been wondering why he never finished season 3 of the Chappelle Show.........
-
When he cut off a paedophile's head to maintain cover in season 2 then?
-
He's a main character for the season and he didn't get a silent clock. They gave Freckles a silent clock when they buried her alive and she wasn't dead for reals, so I think the lack of a silent clock is significant. My guess is either he's barely alive or he was playing along with Tony. Or maybe Moss was a mole and Tony knew it, so he killed him and he is really dead? Does the silent clock thing even matter anymore or are the producers using it to mess with our heads? I am so confused right now.
-
Kim Bauer gotta eat!
-
1) Teri Bauer's death (end of 1.24)
2) George Mason turning over command of CTU to Tony and departing for the final time (mid-episode 2nd season)
3) David Palmer assassination attempt (end of 2.24)
4) Ryan Chappelle's death (end of an ep, season 3)
5) Edgar dies (end of an ep, season 5)
6) Jack walks off into the sunset (end of 6.24)
7) After Redemption airlift
8) Renee Walker's burial (end of an ep, 7th season)
9) Buchanan's death (mid-ep, Season 7)
So 9 silent clocks, but not all of them were for specific deaths (and some were for deaths that weren't deaths). -
Apr 20, 2009 1:16:00 PM CDT
Silent clock - please stop attributing so much to it...
by darthcorleone
Never mind...I just saw that chrth beat me to it. I suppose you could guess that a major character's death would earn a silent clock, but we've seen before that's not always the case. To me the silent clock is not a rule for decreeing death; it's much more about the tone of the moment.
-
Look, simply, this season was promoted and promised to us as Evil Tony vs. Jack Bauer. We got that for 2 episodes, then they turned on us (which, I admittedly saw coming.) But then they got us invested in Tony again, thinking, "Oh, it's so cool that Tony and Jack are back and kicking ass again" So now they turn around and make Tony the villain for the ending THAT is drama, folks. THAT is what it should have been all season. Tony vs. Jack! That's what I want to see. There's where the emotional payoffs are. Sure, it's downright mean they got us to like Tony again and then turn on it, but it's 24, and this show is very, very cruel. But very dramatic. I don't get how people complained when Tony turned face in episode 3 and are now complaining when he turns back. He shoulda been the A-#1 bad guy all season. Bring it on and leave a lot of bodies in it's wake.
-
I like the way you think Palooka. My theory is that President Cougar needs to get her groove back following the death of her husband. But she needs Kim Bauers scent glands to lure a mate. Jack, still dying from the pathogen, uses Freckle Boob as a decoy to draw out the President Cougar's agents. The real threat is the radioactive offspring of George Mason and the same Mountain Lion that attacked Kim in Season 2. Secretly this man-lion, genetic hybrid has been pulling the strings for the past 6 seasons in order to reacquire Kim.
-
Just for the record, what solution to the Tony story will make you happy/satisfied, and I'm interested if it's the same as mine.
-
Was it me or did Cougar Kim look a little thick last week? I noticed the camera didn't pan down her body like it always does.
-
I hope he pulls through
-
I'm dying to know what his endgame is. I don't think he's evil. He actually looked like he meant it when he said 'I'm sorry' right before suffocating Moss. He looked like he regretted having to do it. So I don't think he's evil. But he's up in some bad shit. I also want to say Freckles Bauer is probably the best female character they've had on the show (actually, this season in general is good for female characters). Finally, a strong woman on 24 who's not a conniving shrew, traitor, or annoying bitch. And Audrey Raines doesn't count. Never liked her. It doesn't hurt that Annie W. is gorgeous, but in an unconventional way. And I missed last week's talkback, but how hilarious was "Chloe's" PSA for Global Warming? I wish we could see that side of the actress on the show.
-
THen what the hell were they unhappy with? What a horrible twist that was.
-
I noticed it as well. Elisha's been eating well.
-
I don't care about where Tony ends up, but I do want them to somehow make the double-turn make sense. If his plan all along was to get a canister of the pathogen, his "plan" went through about a hundred separate steps where everything had to go just so and he had no control over it.
-
Will Jack be able to kick Tony's ass even when Jack is having sudden memory loss, accompanied by seizures? I'd rather see a Jack/Tony fight when Jack is totally healthy. I can't wait to see how this plays out!!!
-
If you notice, she waxed the shit out of her eyebrows, that's why her face looks rounder. She lost her now-fashionable Susan Boyle caterpillars.
-
Fact.
-
9/11 happened after the first season was underway, so ironically the event that made 24 relevant to so many people is not part of the show's fictional timeline. AFAIK 9/11 has never been mentioned on 24.
-
I guess the Twin Towers were never built to begin with in the 24 Universe. I doubt the 24 Team will want to use computer graphics to recreate the building, otherwise!
-
...and that if Jack is a granddad this season, it's Tony's kid.
-
But my memory is imperfect
-
"President David Palmer's administration includes the Department of Homeland Security, established after 9/11, meaning Day 2 takes place after 2001, and therefore Day 1 after 2000. "
-
The DHS exists on 24 but it would been created in response to an event in that universe, maybe the nuclear detonation in Day 2. DHS didn't feature explicitly until Day 5. References to "homeland security" in Days 2-4 could have referred to a presidential homeland security advisor's office. In the real world Tom Ridge was Assistant to the President for Homeland Security before the department was created and he then became Secretary of Homeland Security.
-
And you're right, Xenu knows there have been enough reasons to make a DHS in the 24-verse. But I still think 9/11 was mentioned once.
-
Any outcome that redeems Tony and opens the door for another season for Bernard and/or future spinoff.
-
Gotcha... I think you're SOL
-
2 minutes later, Jack returns to the doctor. "What's happening?" "Like I told you 2 minutes ago, you'll have memory loss"
-
Last week was very vert commentable, I wish I hadn't missed it. Damn you Jim Butcher!
-
They took 3 weeks to write a fucking soap opera plot? Did they hire writers from Passions or something?
-
...target Hodges or Seaton?
-
Oh, Fuck Yeah
-
Just shoot yourself, and the cops will let you go...
-
Anyone want to bet that's not really Tony.
-
David Fury wrote the lawyer switch? Fuck that. I expect better from him.
-
When you get the bad news, cry in Kim's arms...
-
Looks like Tony's evil after all...oh well, at least we'll get that Tony/Jack showdown we were all looking forward to.
-
Like, you know, the first season photographer.
-
freckletits back when he was married.
-
Soap opera actress was the other woman? Shocking.
-
I'm repeating myself again, I'm sorry
-
Moss killing Tony instead.
-
Yeah, he's the illest.
-
Didn't want to watch Freckles look all sad for the whole hour
-
I do NOT have high hopes for this... I agree, I wonder what the original story idea was.
-
Kill Hodges? Break Hodges out? Kill Seaton? Break Seaton out? Sleep with Olivia and the Doctor?
-
...she'd make a great Meryl in a MGS flick.
-
Jack insists...
Tony- "so, what are the best escape routes?"
FBI Agent- "What?" -
...but why didn't the paramedics think it was weird that Larry was shot with a shotgun and Tony was shot, point blank, with a handgun?
-
breaks hodges out. Kills Seaton. Torrid love affair with Olivia. FTW.
-
that it was point blank? I zoned out for a bit while they were treating him. I doubt they'd be able to tell without a thorough examination.
-
Hahahah...it is 4/20 after all...
-
Bioweapon not to be used as he chose to do it ... interesting
-
the Godfather II way out.
-
you are proper fucked.
-
Tony has to steal 60 classic cars tonight!
-
Hmmmm
-
Nice, I like that about his character. He wasn't a cog, he was defying the machine for his own purposes.
-
You will obey orders without question. Law two: Punishment shall be swift. Law three: Mercy is for the weak. Four: Terror will defeat reason. Five: Your allegiance is to the clan. Six: Justice can be dictated. Seven: Any clansman may challenge for leadership of the clan. Law eight: There is only one penalty. Death.
-
from 30 Days of Night.
-
aw fuck...
-
I think that might be Rack Bauer he smells. Bet she's got that "not-so-fresh" feeling.
-
He is deep deep deep deep deep deep deeeepity deep cover.
-
Or was that Le Tigra?
-
I think Rack Bauer will off him, personally. Jack will try and talk her out of it, but she'll cap him and then say "I learned it from watching you, Jack. I learned it from watching you."
-
That's funny.
-
What a whore.
-
What do you think, there's a secret chick there?
-
That's not creepy therapist... aww... bet that baby is half cougar.
-
Teri ... awwwwww ...
-
That came out of nowhere. Maybe Jack can crack her neck and suck out her stem cells, all Christopher Reeve (South Park) style.
-
ahhhh....sweet relief.
-
doesn't look happy.
-
for a redshirt
-
Dun dun dunnnn!
-
would fuck up the Illuminati
-
They got trumped. Time for a new ad campaign (and yeah, Apple doesn't need updates, except for the once-a-year version upgrade)
-
Was that off Jack or Jack off? :p
-
I think you meant "off Jack," not "Jack off." Maybe.
-
Jack Bauer IS the Illuminati
-
ALL of my comments.
-
In the final hours Edgar will rise from the grave... He deserves to die with dignity...
-
Maybe that's the real reason Jack and Tony are so sweaty this episode?
-
between Jack and Tony, or this will all be unforgivable.
-
Want to save energy? TURN OFF THE DAMN TV.
-
died like he lived... a fat tub of shit.
-
Ok, seriously, Hodges is great
-
are amplified in HD. Wow.
-
But I'm buying.
-
in The Matrix.
-
Hmmmm
-
he's good... I mean, he's really good.
-
WWTD?
-
Is why I love 24... Jack Bauer incharge might, MIGHT save a mediocre episode
-
Seriously. Stay off of his lawn.
-
blew Rack Bauer's freckles clean off.
-
A little slow, but it's fun watching Jack - dying and drugged - outsmart Tony.
-
And Jack hung up on him.
-
Man this season is getting going now...Tony is pretty badass to pull the canister out around a bunch of FBI guys.
-
He could've figured it out already
-
Here we go.
-
Jack has it... and....
-
Here we go!
-
when did Tony palm Jack's meds? This is going to be one epic fucking standoff, EPIC!
-
And knowing is half the battle!
-
Weak, weak, weak episode. Weak ass ending. Still need to know what Tony was doing and why.
-
This show is getting back to its roots now.
-
Can't say things are looking too good for the good guys...
-
WEAK??????
-
Otherwise why not kill Jack?
-
Keep on believing that. I'm not buying it.
-
IT'S A TRAP!!!!
-
Tony's canister is full of greenhouse gases.
-
I am behind global warming.
-
about global warming? Eff that.
-
Wait, whose brilliant idea was it to let Jack in a hospital room with a suspect again?
-
And I'm your only chance!!! Yeaaaaaaaaa!!!
-
because he thinks that Jack is already dying. He is simply being overconfident.
-
1. Tony has no loyalty to anyone but Jack. That's why he doesn't kill him. And THAT'S getting close to the edge.
2. Tony has only shown he'll be helpful when he has something to gain (a canister vs Hodges having all the bioweapon)
3. I forgot what 3 was. -
Was that the fake lawyer?
-
Worry about Jack stomping a Mudhole in your ass...
-
Tony died and a demon took over his body. See, if you watched SUPERNATURAL you'd know this shit.
-
If I had to wager, my bet would be on the rewrite being Tony as part of the greater(est?) conspiracy headed by Will Patton.
-
and he can't die now?
-
Since Will Patton sent the fake lawyer to Hodges and he mentioned Tony in his phone call to the fake lawyer and the fake lawyer is smooching Tony next week, I'd say that was a safe bet...
-
I'll catch you next week... Time to watch some Flames-Blackhawks and/or Mavs/Spurs.
-
Seaton (remember, Hodges didn't really know who 'they' werer) ... who leads Jack to Patton
-
Dishes to do before bed. I might pop by later tonight. Ciao.
-
Also, I don't know what year it is in SUPERNATURAL's timeline, but if it's ours, the crossroad demon is long dead. And if he was gonna get the hook up, wouldn't he just ask for Michelle to be brought back?
-
Since the pill Fake Shemp Lawyer gave Hodges didn't kill him, maybe something else entirely is going on....
-
Imagining Jack Bauer try to interact with a baby, let alone his own grandchild, is hilarious. I love it. That was a really good, badass episode though, btw. I'm loving Tony being an actual bad guy. Fucking awesome. I hope he doesn't die this season, and they are still after him next season.
-
Jack and Audrey were under fire, so Jack called the ONLY MAN HE COULD TRUST-Tony.........I'm sad when I think about it.
-
Jack is going to torture an old man in the hospital. But I guess Mr. Midnight Cowboy has it coming.
-
With his best buddy backstabbing him in the back like that, I expect Jack to be sipping on a stem cell cocktail pretty soon. There is no way he's going to let Tony get away punking him like that.
-
And continue to menace Jack like Nina did
-
Starting to lose interest in this season. Kinda hard to like or dislike anyone (other than Garafalo). Needs a 4-way w/Kim,Renee,Chloe & 1st daughter.
-
If someone hadn't seen the ep, they might think you meant the original
-
What a horrible line. They haven't seen each other for years, barely got a chance to say anything, and saw each other for what, 2 minutes?
-
It's stupid and makes no sense.
-
While I have not rewatched the entire season to determine if the twist strains credibility outcome-wise, the writers left plenty of openings for it to happen. Even if they didn't plan it from Day One (and I suspect they did, but that doesn't matter), they left enough ambiguity with Tony to suggest something was afoot (his random appearances, his offscreen interrogation 'intel'). Heck Emerson may still be alive.
I understand that some people don't like the twist because of what it does to Tony's character or potential future appearances. But to act like it came out of nowhere or doesn't make sense in the context of the season is ignoring a lot of evidence otherwise indicating the writers at least had this as a possibility from hour one. -

I think we all know who's really pulling the strings, here...
by mr_macphisto
...Tony's Cubs coffee mug. Or else Cubby's involved in a similar terrorist plot, and is being hunted down by the Jack Sack.
-
Jesus, gang. The guy lost everything that he loved in his life- numerous times over the course of the show. It was Michelle's death that finally broke the guy. She was his stability and once she was taken away, it was all over for him.
They still need to explain how Tony got mixed up with this crew (Alan Wilson, the Ally McBeal chick, etc.). And they will explain it, just not in some idiotic exposition upfront for us fanboys and girls, despite the bitching. And we still need to find out the motivation for this cabal. Just wait and see, that's all I can say. -
Mmm...Ruby blood.
-
That's his twin brother Armando Almeida.
-
Wait, I think I did that wrong
-
Can I copy of that? Did you all see her green, strapless, bare-shouldered top? PLEASE tell me that's ALREADY on YouTube!!!!!
-
24 premiered on November 6, 2001.
I worked at a FOX station at the time. I remember the network asked for small edits to first episode as it dealt with a bomb on a plane. The final product was a good bit less graphic than the original.
So Jack's always lived in the post 9/11 world -
You crack me up, buddy. Yeah, Armando "Bizarro" Almeida roots for the White Sox and dates blondes, not brunettes.
-
Not that I've watched the final season of Prison Break, but 24 is starting to feel like Prison Break with all this shadow conspiracy supposedly pulling the strings.
-
Tony has been bad from day one and the little clues they dropped throughout the season suggest this was always the planned endgame. Now that it's clear he's used Bill, Chloe, Jack and every level of government from ambulance driver to the frickin President he ought to pay unless they can clearly set up a near apocalyptic season-long showdown in NY.
-
Loving this!!!
-
Seans 8's probaly the last right? Why not fuck with the format a little....take a page out of Arthur Conan Doyle...start the season with the second to last hour (assuming tony survives)...Walker et al roll up to the end result of Jack vs. Tony...say the assumtion is they both went over a building/died in an explosion/whatever the uck, but it's not clear who lived/died, or even if they're both just fucked up under rubble. that's hour one; hour two jumps BACK 22/23 hours earlier to lead us up to that point, which is Jack after Tony through NYC. Then the final episode is either Jack wins, Tony's done 2) Jack's dead, Tony lives (downer, I know, but a nice gutpunch to wrap shit up) ... or they both are toast. Or fuck it, maybe they both make it and come out partners. Just if you're gonna fucking shake it up...REALLY shake it up, cause I'm pretty sure next year is it for 24.
-
Seriously, what do you think Jack & Tony did when they hung out (assuming they did)? Lines of blow? Bang some bitches? Bowling?
-
Without it, it would have been a solid yet unspectacular season. The Tony twist is this season's equivalent of the Logan twist. It puts everything that came before it into question, and it creates a huge sense of emotional urgency for the final stretch of episodes. However, unlike the Logan twist, this one was definitely planned from the beginning. They obviously didn't plan it out beat-by-beat, but I guarantee you the writers knew Tony was a bad guy all along. In fact, they've been telegraphing the twist ever since he disappeared mid-season to investigate a "source." It's understandable that some Tony fans are upset, but I think the twist is totally in character and believable, considering everything Tony's been through. 24 is rocking this season. The finale is going to kick all kinds of ass 'cause we know it has to end w/ a Jack/Tony showdown. Woo hoo!
-
I assume the intro of Jack's unknown grandchild is for a reason? Other than a method to get him to change his mind about dying in agony?
-
And saw all the treachery of Tony....damn, I really liked that character, too. Well, live everyone else said, it's time for us to gear up for the Jack vs Tony showdown...will it be Tony with his new moves(that neck-break w/ the roundhouse & taking down the two Starkwood guys), gov't hate?...or our trusty Jack Bauer, he of the 'Lost-Boy' kills, running wall neck-breaks, and superior knife throwing skills? Also, people, keep in mind...Jack's got about 7-10yrs on Tony...will it be youth or experience?!
-
a dying wish? Hmmm. Larry, you naughty boy.Still liking this season.
-
Juma was evil. Hodges is evil. Jack's dad and brother(involuntary shudder at thought of season 6)were evil.
Evil Nina was evil.
Tony? He's gone bad, not evil. He's a man burnt by 3 years of federal prison for trying to save his wife, recovering his freedom only to watch her die in a fireball at the hands of an evil govt plot. He's got more than enough rage stored up to drive him and, when he kills Larry, it ain't a gloaty evil kind of killing, it's a 'i hate doing this' kind of killing.
Like crth, I see no reason for them to kill off Tony by the end of Day 7. they've spent this much time building up his character, why end it now? -

Jon Voight is a Rightwinger asshole & Elisha Cuthbert is Hot!
by leafar the lost
Like most Rightwingers, Jon Voight is an asshole. I suppose you would have to say that he is a successful actor, but his political views make it difficult for me to watch any show or movie that he is in. His greatest accomplishment in life was providing the sperm that created Angelina Jolie. Aside from that, he hasn't really done that much to be proud of. Elisha Cuthbert could be a Rightwing-Republican-Racist-Fascist-Conservative-Holyroller, and I would still watch her, because she is smoking hot. She can do whatever she wants.
-
'Knights of the Bloodstool' on Sci Fi and I was with my friend who hates 24 and he was like, "Put 24 on, that's good" and I was like, "You hate 24" and he was like, "It's all relative." Needless to say 24 won out, but not by much.
-
Anyone else hope that the people Tony is working with are connected to the people Nina was working for? I always felt they never properly resolved that.
-
shits good
-
My vote is for Kim's baby. Adding a baby is always a last ditch effort to save a tv show. Also, I hope Kim had a Caesarian like Britney to keep that shit tight.
-
Kim should be damn near 40 in the 24verse and here she is with a 25 year old looking cracka. COUGA POWA

In all the excitement last night, we might've missed something..
by rich malone
When Jack was consoling Renee in the helicopter on the way to the site, he began by saying "I lost two partners, one after another." Do we know who he was referring to? Could Chase be one of them? Who could the other one be? I especially live little tidbits live this about Jack's personality and his past because it's very telling of the man he's become today. Of course, w all love that he's a trained assassin, but his other traits are cool too.
-
hilarious..that's funny for so many different reasons...
-
shit, the 'k' button is shot on this computer..
-
Given that the 24 universe comprises about 13 years by my estimate and that Jack said he had worked alone for the last 10, I assume that the two partners he "lost" were Nina and Chase. Consequently, I thought it was a faulty and perhaps even insensitive analogy, but I suppose it works.
-
I don't really buy this 'Tony's gone bad' shit at all! We grew up with Nina 'suddenly' goin' bad - we swallowed (even her!). We had Christopher Henderson as bad / good / bad again - bad move. Pa Bauer as bad / good / bad again - bad move. For me that's some JTS-Moments!
-

Music at the end was the same as Tony's S3 "betrayal"
by guy who got a headache and accidentally
The music during the split screen was the same one from the episode where he took off with Saunder's daughter from CTU to trade for michelle. Clever.
-
...I meant MiniRack...
-
but she plays her character fine, which is not much more than playing her bitchy real life self. The only worthy thing she has done is be hot in Reality Bites and make me want to pound her asshole for days with Winona at the ready with an open mouth for each happy ending. Jon Voight is a patriot with celestial sperm. I hope he'll campaign for Rudy next year in the Governor's race. As for Kim Bauer, meh. I'll take Zombie Nina and Naked Mandy.

When the hell are they going to come back and kick some I.T ass!
-
Um.. which one are you waiting for? The one who is dead, the one who is being held by the FBI, the one who is dying or the one who is actually a bad guy?
-
She'll be shootin' bad guys before she talks!
-
at least in this season it would...he needs to stick around for a while (similar to Krycek from the X-Files) and torment both Jack and Jack's enemies equally. He's really had a nice character arc so far...I don't really want to see it end in the final episodes of this season.

Jack Bauer is a trained assassin? I know he's a ex-special forces soldier and I've read his bio at the official FOX website, but no where have I read he's a trained assassin.
-
i think michael bay would be an AWESOME guest director for 24 he'd do really well with the action scenes in the show
-
Either you have a twisted sense of humor or you are COMPLETELY INSANE...my bet's on the latter.
-
every tv show should have some great explosions and who better to do them? and im not completely insane just off my meds :P
-
I thought Jack was talking about his early career, from which I think his time on the LAPD is the most likely reference, because most of his career changes after that would be consistent with a preference to work alone. Chase was an exception Jack tolerated.

...Is because time flies on this show in-between seasons like no tomorrow! Seriously, we've been through how many 4-year Presidents and elections at this point? So the way this thing works, by the time we start next season, the kid could be taking over! Actually, it's too bad they didn't introduce the "Kim has a kid" idea way back in Season 2 instead of the silly cougar storyline. The way 24 works, he really could've been in high school or college next season to transition the show a bit.Oh wait, I just remembered -- Jack still has that nephew out there that they could still age, doesn't he? Or wait, did he turn out to actually be Jack's son? I can't remember at this point. Hmm...then again, now that I think of it, why can't they also bring back Rena Sofer from that storyline? She was hot! If 24 is lacking anything, it's that Jack needs more hot babes constantly running through his life. He deserves some kind of reward!

Next thing you know, you'll be defending Michael Bay in Transformers talkbacks (like myself).
