AICN is not like it usd to be 10 years back- there are no real "scoops" anymore and the reviews arent' flying in like they used to. A couple of noted writers have left this site and subpar people like Scriptcunt have come on. Something like "Hey Harry, here's this week's report. I think you'll get a kick out of blah blah blah. I know the one I'm most looking forward to seeing in theaters is yada yada." It might quell at least some of the criticism that her reports contain nothing unique to this site (nothing that you can't find by watching it on YouTube). As far as I can tell, her posting the video on YouTube is the extent of her involvement in the videos showing up here. She seems grateful for the exposure this site has given her, as seen in her occasional shout-out to Harry, and FMB, but I have yet to see her give anything back in the form of original contributions (done specifically for this site).

This is why I'm such a devotee of SG...I sent her a treatment for a historical thriller that I've dabbled with both as a novel and a script and she got back to me within a week with thoughtful and extensive notes which was a very cool thing for her to do for a virtual stranger on myspace. The entire production is lame and with the experience behind it, (not a slight) I expect a lot more...low budget or not. It also doesn't help that it comes at the end of the week. Make it a Wednesday to Wednesday report, and maybe by the weekend, the news wont seem so old.
