Hodges is proving to be one of the best 24 villains so far. The guy has the balls to stand up to the U.S government and basically say 'Fuck you. And I've got a bunch of weapons behind me that say fuck you too. So yeah, fuck you and i'm going to do whatever the fuck i want.'I hope he gets a suitably epic death scene at the end.

7 hours left including tonight. End game for the Voight storyline has to be tonight or next week (maybe the following week, but that seems unlikely) ... so what happens in the final five hours? It seems late to introduce another plot, doesn't it? Something involving the First Lady and/or Emerson (who I reckon is still alive)? Olivia Shenanigans? One final mole?
We know Chloe is coming back (thx Ausiello), and First Lady as well. But to do what I don't know. -

Season 2 took place one year later. Season 3 took place four years later. Season 4=one year later. Season 5=one year and a half later. Season 6=two years later. Season 7=four years later. That equals 13 and a half years.

i hope he gets away this season and starts wrecking personal havoc on bauer friends and family all through season 8,with bauer never catching up to him,,never being on screen with hodges,all the way until the end of season 9,yes season 9,,the last scene of the series is jack extracting nearly 3 seasons of anger on hodges..the more you keep them away the bigger the build up would be

Plus whoever was incumbent during the primaries on Day One. A LOT of time must have elapsed. Even accounting for assassinations and coups, LOL. It's pointless pinning down the perpetual present to a particular year but I can totally believe that Jack's younger than his own daughter by now.

No idea what the original plan of the writers was, but if it involved the stupid evil Africans blowing shit up throughout, i'm glad they took some time out to rethink the storyline.The episodes after the attack on the White House (i.e the ones which involved Hodges) have been excellent!

Voight fills the role as with an "I deserve an emmy for this" performance every episode. It really bugs me when shows stunt cast with the entitlement attitude that they are doing something special. Take away the long shots, drawn out speeches, and low slow music when he's on screen, it's a pretty lame overall performance.

Tony must be using Octo-Camo at the moment. Although Jack's storyline mirrors that of Solid Snake's in Metal Gear Solid 4 at present, it's definitely Tony who's bringing the Foxhound skills to the fore out in the field.

The ONLY point I will make about Tony is that THIS season, he's never been about helping the government, but ONLY about helping Jack. Everything he's done that's been good has been out of a dedication or loyalty to Jack, not his country. The point where he asks Moss how Jack is, and gets the notice that he's not well, only serves to reinforce Bad Guy Tony.
I will admit it's lazy writing and POOR story plotting to make him the endgame Big Bad, only because they blew the Jonas Wad too early. -

And let's not forget the ultimate end-all battle to the death between Jack and Tony we are gonna get....how can anyone NOT like that??? -
Just rewatched season 1 the other day. First 12 hours are godly. Stephen Hopkins needs to come back and direct more 24 episodes.

.. the season ends with Tony NOT dying, but escaping to fight again another day? Then they can devote next season (presumably the final season) to Jack hunting for Tony. Devote a whole season to Jack vs. Tony, which is what we were expecting this one to be. Tony's practically the next best guy to Jack, so its really like a "Good Jack vs. Evil Jack" scenario. I hope he doesn't just get killed off like a chump 6 episodes from now. Keep him around for the final season!

The writers even had a clue that Nina was the bad guy a few eps before it was revealed. Kim is in the police station. She tells the detective to call her mom at CTU to confirm who she is. The detective comes back and says that she is free to go, that he confirmed who she is. Kim asks "Did you talk to my mom?" and the detective answers yes. Later, Mom is in the conference room and she has no clue what anyone's talking about. Either shes the mole or the only other female - Nina - is. It was so nicely hidden yet right in front of your face if you were keeping track.

even better, as it would be really good for 24's final year to build from hour one to that type of showdown, minus the hokey twists and plot holes that have slowed down previous seasons.

The season had me until tonight. I bought the Tony was a bad guy, but really a good guy, bit once. Now to have him turn into the bad guy again is a complete cheat. All the work he did, to DETER the supposed bad guys, like blowing up the launch missiles, among the many other things, only for HIM to be a bad guy in the end???? Idiotic!! Idiotic in the sense that it's going to once again (how many times has it been now?) PISS OFF the legions of fans who love and adore Tony, but it's also idiotic as a plot device. Like I said, a complete "jump the shark" moment. I'm not saying I'm done with the show like others are already screaming, but I can tell you I "MAY" be done with it after this season. This better make fucking sense in the end, that's for damn sure!!!

...is that now Agent Walker is available to hook up with Jack as his new love interest next season. Seems like they've been subtly hinting around at that this season between the two of them, but Walker seemed to have some kind of history with Moss. I totally had a feeling they'd kill him off at some point if their plan is to pair her up with Jack. It's a good match, and much better than Audrey. :)

Again, good point. This then makes Day 7 an interesting watch back through like Day 1 was when you had the knowledge of the turn. You can look out for details. I'll admit I've not been entirely convinced by Tony's allegiance and there have been some questionable looks and on his face throughout (good job by Bernard) but the writers had fooled me enough during the last couple of eps that I was worrying for Tony's welfare and what might happen to him come the end of the day. At this point during production (6 episodes left), the producers shut down filming for a couple of weeks and ordered the writers to come up with a new angle for the finale. This has been the best season in a long time, and I have faith the season will end as utterly cool and badass as it started.

I'm a huge Tony fan and was dreading his return this season if the writers weren't going to bring their A game. I don't want to see him die again or particularly be an out and out bad guy so, yeah, I am a bit taken aback at yet another CTU agent swinging wildly to the darkside late on in a season BUT I've still got faith in the writers this year. They didn't blow his return and if they are going to keep him for Day 8 then there must be more to this twist than meets the eye. Fingers crossed.

They had written themselves into a pretty bleak corner (Jack on the verge of death, Tony's switcheroo, etc.). That's when they recognized they needed a new angle. To me, the order to halt production and do a re-write shows they care enough to give the fans a quality show. They could've easily had the attitude of, "Oh, well, fuck it. We'll make it up to the fans next year."

Evil ex-president back for revenge! We still haven't seen definite confirmation that he died from that stab to the neck, so it's certainly possible. Maybe his surviving that attack is why his wife went completely off the deep end (as hinted by Aaron this season). Logan being the mastermind would be the coolest, most insane way to cap this season in the last few episodes. There's no way Tony is the head villain, and if Hodges isn't lying about being a small cog in the wheel, then I want to know who the REAL main villain is. Seems too late in the season to introduce some new character, so it's gotta be an old villain we all know and love. So bring back Logan! :)

How does Tony being a good guy, only out of a sense of loyalty to Jack, make sense? So, now that Jack may die, let's honor everything Jack stood for by stealing a secret cannister that Tony had stashed, because he knew ahead of time he was going to blow up the biological weapons. Why blow them up then? Did he blow them up, because "HE" wanted to be the guy to do it. Of course he ONLY decided that AFTER he knew Jack was probably going to die. Great theory guys, makes a lot of sense. You guys are all reaching, and IF that IS what the writers are going with, then the best season in a loooooooong time, just went down the shitter in my book.

I'm split on this Tony twist.
On the one hand, I don't understand the logic of working with Bill and Jack all day, blowing up the rest of the bioweapon when you were really just going to steal one and be the big bad anyway. I think it's a last-minute rewrite and it's going to need a good explanation to be plausible.
However, I think it sets up a nice dramatic ending for the season. Jack vs. Tony can be emotional and it's probably more entertaining to see the two of them fight than it would be to see Keifer Sutherland fight Jon Voight. ... Maybe Tony just decided once Bill was dead and Jack on the verge of death that he needed to think fast so he called one of his old cronies because he knew it was jail for him. That might be a weak explanation but I'd buy that before I'd buy that he was the bad guy all along.
Really, though, I hope they build up to a classic cliffhanger...what if Tony killed Kim? -
Obviously the guy was in his crew, maybe they were instructed to take down Starkwood by any means necessary, and to get a cannister of the shit. They were just working on different sides. But if Tony knew that there was someone above Jonas, he "switched sides" once again, to take em down. Moss was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. That better be the case.

No confirmed death. It's felt like his kind of plot throughout the season, to be honest. They just distracted me with crazy, evil, scene-stealing Hodges and military compounds and bioweapons! Perhaps Tony needs to turn to get closer to Logan?

to Hodges, if Hodges original plan had worked. As the president indicated, Hodges would have had more security clearance and power than even the vice president, and potentially Logan could have been secretly calling the shots. It would be like Logan working as a shadow president, maybe waiting for the right moment to reclaim real power. Heh heh... it's funny how we've built him up to be the ultimate sneaky genius, like Senator Palpatine. I doubt any of this would pan out, but it's fun to think about. :)

Key to 24 is that Jack and Tony will do whatever it takes to get the job done. When Jack chose to save the Port Authority supervisor and jeopardise the mission despite Tony's protestations, it showed that one of them was starting to question the ethics of their decision-making. Tony could really be doing, at this point in the day, what Jack would do, killing whoever was in the way if it meant moving forward towards an end game. That doesn't explain stealing a canister of the pathogen, admittedly. But perhaps Tony wants to use it against the person at top of the tree, so to speak? Especially if that person turns out to be Logan...

that would be such a total mindfuck. Two people he trusted the most and didn't think were capable of stabbing him in the back - Nina and Tony - end up taking away the two things he holds dear to his life. Hell, at this point, I'm hoping the writers do go with it, and have Tony escape. That would make the Jack-hunting-down-Tony-dream season 8 so raw. 24 had its best seasons when Jack yearned to put a bullet in Nina's dome.

There's nothing in Tony's behaviour that's any different from classic Jack behaviour at this point during a day. Also, despite my shock at the twist, the writers are clearly not calling on cheap shock-tactics like they were last season with Palmer's bluff, Milo's death etc.

Is that Tony wouldn't and shouldn't be working for him. Surely he knows Logan is ultimately responsible for Michelle's death, so it wouldn't make sense for him to side with the guy. Unless he's once again playing double agent, waiting for the right moment to strike at his boss Logan. Or maybe he plans to personally use that gas on Logan. Ah well... probably wasting our time with all this speculating. I bet Logan won't even show up. That's just a bit too cool for the writer's to come up with.

Tony killed Moss. That's unforgivable. And yeah, you'll hear someone say "Well, Jack killed Chapelle" but the circumstances of that were very different. Tony could have plugged Starkwood Agent #50 and told Moss "I gotta take this here cannister, adios compadre!" and run off. Nope, the writers mean to make Tony batshit evil. And it's such a terrible twist. I reject it with all of my 24-loving being.

You make a good point about the best seasons having the shadow of Nina cast over them, definitely. She was a brilliant character and it totally consumed Jack. It would be interesting if they enabled Jack to rebuild his relationship with Kim over a couple more hours before having Tony do the unthinkable!

I'm still not convinced Tony's all the way evil, I do think it's more a case of any means necessary but I'm not entirely convinced myself. At least it's given us something to debate even if it has violated the show for many also.

This is bullshit. I've been watching 24 since day 1 and this is the first time I feel like I want to stop watching. The writers always write Tony like he has multi-personality disorder. First he betrays the country for Michelle in some ridiculously contrived blackmail scheme, I could forgive that. Then they kill him unceremoniously like he was a stupid rookie punk, I could barely forgive that. Now, after risking everything and going out of his way to save the country, he turns on it again and starts killing FBI. Unforgivable. Don't those stupid fuck writers know that we want someone to cheer for besides Jack? Every time they give us someone, they kill him off. Now what, kill Tony twice? Just fucking stupid. Maybe they can end the season with Teri Bauer, back from the dead, as the leader of the underground, ordering Kim to strangle Jack to death, which she does. The clock ticks down as Terri has a 3 way with naked Mandy and Sherry Palmer. At this point, why not? Fucking bastard writers.

Who knows how this will play out, there could be plenty of reasonable explanations.
Tony is obviously working against both the FBI and Starkwood, so him helping the FBI to take Starkwood down is still consistent and makes sense.
Also Im not convinced Moss is dead. It seems like Tony killing him was staged, and he wasnt really hurting Moss and trying to get him to play along and play dead. -

Tony is not the big bad guy. It goes much deeper than that. I predict this season will end in a cliff-hanger with the ultimate villians not revealed this season.
Look at what Tony has done today helping Bill and Chloe. Look at his face when he "finished off" Moss. He doesn't want to do this but it will blow his cover. I don't think the other guy is Starkwood. This will all tie together and Tony will not be the big bad guy. -

The writers have a theme this season. Do whatever it takes to take down the ultimate bad guy, even if it means killing civilians and FBI agents, or go with Rene's and Larry's point of view. Jack started seeing things from Rack's perspective and almost got Tony killed. Oh WAIT. What about Jonah's sidekick, you think he freed Tony because he works for someone else? Jonah seemed very surprised by his "genius". My mind is doing jumping jacks! No pun intended.

The best thing that can happen next week, is that its explained somehow that moss is alive, and it was all a scheme to get tony closer to whoever the next main bad-guy is.
Otherwise, this just doesn't make any fucking sense. Its been established that Tony has been working with chloe and bill for awhile now undercover to figure out who the real bad-guys were, to the point that he even killed his good friend emerson. It doesn't make any fucking sense for him to switch sides. And if it was a snap decision, like he changed his mind, then why the fuck did he risk his life to destroy the missiles?

When Jack called him about the shipyard meeting, he seemed really annoyed by it, like he knew about the shipment and didn't plan on jack figuring out where the shipment was coming in. So maybe he was working with bill and chloe to find out where the virus was being held, and then he figured it out during those 4 hours when he was off-screen. That would also help explain why he was so pissed at jack for saving that dock-security guard and starting a fire-fight. So I guess its possible he's been a bad guy from the start, but still this is so ridiculously convoluted.

If you look at one of the shots of Tony's hand on his mouth, you can see that he isn't gripping his mouth that tight. Moss recognizes that Tony isn't really trying to kill him and plays along.
Of course, that doesn't explain why the Starkwood guy trusts him on sight and seems very familiar with him.
But I can't believe Tony is truly bad. -
With Jack potentially having hallucinations, it could be a fun opportunity to do some cameos of dead characters for an episode or two, kind of like The First Evil in Buffy season 7.

first assumption. tony has always wanted the bio weapon. Either when he was with Bill, or before, his motives were to secure it at any cost. For what, we dont know. We have to assume he couldnt follow thru on this with his own crew, and decided to use Bill and Chloe for intel since they were good CTU peeps.
So Jack finds out his "cover" but not his real cover, which is why Tony ended up letting Emerson live, off camera, so Emerson could go find out more details.
So Emerson or Eddie Winslow contacts Tony to let him know where the shipment will be coming in, but he needs to be able to secure it himself, so he uses Jack to go after it.
when jack and tony were together, tony didnt know he would get caught. he would have been okay with letting the security guy die and then taking the truck with jack, and having to either kill jack or kick him out the truck when he got them.
but jack threw a wrinkle in those plans and tony had to rely on his starkwood mole, eddie winslow. so at some point he contacts him and tells him that its up to him. since now they cant get the entire truck, he wants winslow to just smuggle a cannister or two out.
ok, so Tony definitely wants starkwoods bio weapons destroyed at this point since he cant get all of them. he doesnt want someone else to do damage to the country, because he has his own motives. So he wants the FBI to destory them. at this point, we have to assume Eddie Winslow already has pulled out one of the cannisters on his own and is looking for a way to get off base with it, and that Tony knows this.
So the weapons are destroyed and Winslow is quietly sneaking out when he gets detected. Tony is supposed to be out of the loop, and even if he was, Winslow still escapes.
So Tony's motives of getting control of the cannisters himself still holds up throughout the show. if he didnt have all of them, he at least needed a sample. the ends justified the means. the only questions are:
WHY does he need a bio weapon?
WHO is he working with/for?
HOW were Bill and Chloe involved? -
but he has always had his own agenda here people. getting revenge on President logan for killing his sweet ass wife is his main motivation here. i feel he has a deal made with someone that he gives them the gas they tell him where Logan is hiding that is what my gut says. Hodges is not done yet either i feel he will be out next week also. it was nice to see big tits bauer tonight someone talking a 3some earlyer got to add Claudia from season 3 to the mix also

that's really Tony? Muhhahhahhah!Kim's visit seemed pretty short, considering the time, distance, and "missed" opportunities. She looked ok for being "sloppy seconds" but Naked Mandy remains #1 in my book. I do agree that we won't get the real big bad reveal until the finale.

Tony slowly suffocating Moss instead just using a gun or knife made no sense - so I say Moss is still alive and Tony is working his way up the food chain to the big bad. Please no more episodes with Jack and Rack stuck in the office, it is getting tedious.

Tony asked Moss if Jack was going to make it and when he found out he wasn't, he realized he needed to play the Jack role. He suffocated Moss to establish credibility with the guy who had the bioweapon. Did you see the way he raised his hand at the bad guy while he was suffocating Moss, as if to say, "I got this. I'm on your side." Tony re-moled. He's trying to find out who's behind it all. The guy with the canister was the same guy who left the truck to do the perimeter sweep when Tony was setting the charges, right? So some bad guy wanted to get the bio weapon and get Hodges out of the way as well.
Tony's not the big bad. In the end, he'll sacrifice himself for Jack to save the day. Although it is awful late to introduce a new character.... -
The final episode will be everyone peeling off masks to reveal they are Tony Todd clones...ever since Detective Morris from S3 reinvented himself as General Juma I've had my suspicions...

The FBI mole was Billy Walsh from Entourage. Doesn't mean there can't be another mole in the FBI but that would be weak. I think we have to accept that Tony is evil. You don't smother a wounded dude in cold blood and still be likable NO MATTER WHAT the end game is. right now I just understand what his motive is since he helped destroy the rockets. Obviously it must have to do with whatver Hodges was referring to when he said he was just a cog in it.

See, the people he worked for (in this case, the gov't)/risked his life for, ended up taking away EVERYTHING he loved. Why does it seem so hard that this man would be hell-bent on revenge? Some people are really destructive in trying to do what they think is justice...to be honest, I see this ending as a big Batman/Joker finale as Tony seems to be the only one remotely in Jack's league--and obviously as Jack's had similar trials (re: his loved ones) I think we're to think that Tony is just slightly weaker and unable to make the choice to not go nuts on the country. Does that make sense?

Jonas told the president "you have no idea how far this goes." Obviously, it's an alien invasion. Tony was actually dead when we thought he was a few seasons ago, and this is just his evil alien clone. The head alien is the cougar that tried to eat Kim, although now he wears a spacesuit and helmet and speaks in a pompous British accent. Naked Mandy sits at his feet on the bridge of the mothership, wearing Leia's gold bikini outfit from "Return of the Jedi" (which I guess makes her Semi-Naked Mandy.)

Remember the episode where Jack and Bill leave to go to the White House and Tony says he has 'something else' to take care of? Followed by a lingering shot of him giving a menacing stare after Jack? Or the scene a few episodes later with Tony and Jack on steps where he breaks the news of another imminent attack.... followed by another lingering shot of him giving a menacing stare? Tony being bad has been signposted ALL season and it has been the writer's End Game ever since the writer's strike gave them more time to flesh out the season.And, as someone mentioned above, it also gave them more time to go back and re-shoot the last episodes as the producers didn't think they were up to scratch.The writer's know what they're doing. And I'm hoping for an epic double episode finale with Jack and Tony going apeshit at each other like Stallone and Banderas in The Specialist.

I distinctly remember at the end of season 2 that a big company was pulling the strings in order to take control of the oil supply of a couple of middle-eastern countries. I'm assuming this is the big machine Jonas is a part of, either that or their his competition. Either way, at least they're setting up a consistent mythology. To be honest deranged terrorists are scarier, its less of a paranoid fantasy and more of a reality.

Whadda we gonna do now to make people go 'WTF?'"It wasn't plausible that Tony could have planned to be on the scene like that, much less just him and Moss with the starkwood guy--if he is really even deeper undercover and trying to do some good, no reason to kill Moss.This smells like some lame-ass shit to set up a confrontation between Jack and Tony.Jack, btw, looked like he had an instant cure somehow in the previews for next week (i.e. One Hour Later). Kim's Stem Cells must be some fast-acting cure-alls.

Of course his motive to avenge Michelle makes sense. What does not make sense is the logistics of Tony's day as a whole. What sort of convoluted ridiculousness is this? At a certain point, triple-crossing or quadruple-crossing or whatever the hell is going on is not something that could feasibly be planned; it's just something you manufacture for the sake of a "plot." If you can explain Tony's plan to me that takes that into account, I'm all ears.

The Writers CAN'T make SoulPatch Mr. Real BAD-Man! That's what they did with Christopher Henderson for the finale in season 5! He just had turned out to be a good contribution for following seasons as some kind of pal for Jack. That's what they did with Pa Bauer! He just had turned out to be a good contribution for... well y' know. We CAN live with plot holes - we WAIT for tragic deaths to appears almost every second. We MAY argue over methods or ethics regarding Jack. But those JTS-Moments killed the suspense AND the quality of the last two seasons. And that's something the writers DO know! We (the audience) want BELIEVABLE finales of a great show that's called 24! Not just some fine minutes - even seconds - in between. That's why we possibly buy the DVD's! We want shows like 24 being made for the history books of TV! not some crap out finale twist just dripped from freshly inked fingers. The writers Do know this... don't they? I'm with Tony's made a horrible mistake by sacrificing Moss - but still works for the good - our's and Jack's - side.

I think the writers will make sense of the Tony thing. The black guy is probably the one who told Tony about the bioweapon in the first place. He needed help getting it out of Starkwood.
There's probably a bigger terrorist out there (think an Osama-type) who Tony knows is looking to buy the bioweapon. What's one dead FBI agent if Tony thinks he can take out one of the world's biggest bad guys? Besides, Moss was dead anyway. He'd been shot. He was unarmed, and he had a shotgun pointed at him. He was dead whether Tony killed him or he let the other guy do it. This is a classic Jack move--do the unthinkable to convince the bad guy you are on his side. Think back to earlier this season when Jack shot Rack. Lucky for Rack, Jack was able to get away with pretending to shoot her, but does anyone think he would not have shot her if that was the only way to avert a terrorist threat?

He was shot at close range multiple times by a shot gun. Tony just put him out of his misery early so Moss couldn't blow the whistle on him. Tony is still searching for the big baddie. Look at what Tony did earlier in the season with Emerson's crew. He wouldn't do that if he was totally bad. Besides, it looked like he really didn't want to get in that helicopter with Moss and chase the other guy because he knew he may have to take Moss out. I think the bioweapon is going to be exchanged for something, or it's to find out who's really behind all this.

No jokes, I have a serious "guess" as to what is up with Tony.
Tony is working for some big bad outside of Starkwood, someone who became aware of what they were up to. They wanted Starkwood shuit down and sole posession of their chemical weapon. So they bring in Tony. Tony is put in position to play the US Government against Starkwood so that Starkwood is taken out while Agent #2 escapes with the last tank of the chemical. If it went right Tony would not have had to really get his hands dirty but FBI guy goes all hero and Tony has to kill him.
But I don't think Tony is fully bad. I think the only allegiance he has at all is to Jack. That will be what saves and damns Jack. Tony will work some deal with his employer. They'll end up having a cure for the gas. Tony work things to get Jack cured. Jack lives but he lives knowing he owes his life to the bad guys, that his life comes at the expense of Larry Moss's life, giving Jack a new reason to despise his own life and for giving Racks Bauer a reason to hate him. -
Henderson may be. With the witness on the sub, it looked like a setup (since Bauer promised Henderson a way out). Logan is still alive based on an earlier conversation this season.
I honestly don't know what to make of what Tony did, and I'm not going to judge until an explanation comes. If the explanation sucks/is illogical, then I will criticize appropriately. If it works, though, it's not worth the energy to poo-pooh it now. -
I got the impression that he knew that the conspiracy was bigger than Hodges (like Hodges said to the president right before he was taken away), so he put himself undercover again by helping the black dude. Of course, he didn't have to kill Larry, just incapacitate him (it's what Jack would have done). He could still bring Larry back (3 minutes until brain damage), but would Larry be on board with going undercover after the black dude? Otherwise Tony has to escape and leave him unable to contact Jack for a while. Tony said "wait for my call", that could be after today (meaning next season).

Now he turns back to evil and people bitch. I like how you can't make everybody happy when they do it. Yes, I got used to Tony being a part of Jack's badass crew and envisioned a Season 8 with Tony and Jack kicking ass again with terrorists, but I remember how cool it was the Evil Tony plot was when it started - and how cheap it felt when it was only 1 episode - so now he's BACK to Evil Tony and it's pretty sweet. THAT'S the dramatic conflict of the season, and frankly it should have been that all year, but it's a great twist to get us digging Tony again and then BAM! he's evil again. Awesome stuff. Does it defy some logic presented all season? Well, kinda. But I have two words for you: Nina Meyers. Same deal there and it still worked in the end. So, yeah, hate to see Tony go bad but love to watch him be Evil Tony. Screw Jon Voight, this is where the dramatic conflict is.
