High Res Images Of TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN Robots Romp & Stomp Their Ways Onto The Net!!

TFW 2005 has posted some high res CGI media of robots and such from TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN.
Slap Megatron's new vehicle mode to jump to all the images; I gather you may have to register at the site in order to access all the pics.
Quite a few high quality images to behold, including a nice look at what some of us called "The Unicycle" after we saw the trailer (Okay, okay - so I had trouble seeing that second friggin' wheel! Whatever...).
I semi-like the tweaks made to Megatron this time around - particular his vehicle mode. In robo form, he looks more like something I can wrap my brain around than he did in the first film. And his vehicle mode? Sure, he ain't a gun...but I wouldn't wanna see that tank coming towards me...

You know how it works when it comes to ILM. You tell them what you want, in this case organic looking robots. Then they'll show you multiple prototypes, then you select the ones that best suits your Film. So to say, Micheal Bay comes up with these robots is groundless and devoid of any facts.

So... it took me ten seconds to realize what the pic was of. I always thought the confusing action complaints were a bit much for the first one, but the thought of that thing moving makes me think they should hand out eye drops and painkillers when the tear our tickers.

That's not quite the way it goes, they hire artists to produce concept art by director's input. And the director gives thumbs up or down on concepts before it even gets to the effects house. Bay could have just said, "less busy, I can't even tell where it's head and where it's ass is".

I really liked the 1st one. Although.. I know Megan Foxx is hot, but she had some week moments towards the end acting wise.
The trailer for this looks pretty kick ass. It’s tracking to be the # 1 movie of the summer. Unless word of mouth goes bad, I think it will be.

"disguise" being the operative word. That thing looks like what happens to one's vision when a migraine comes on. Never liked the tank idea, anyhow, given that most of the Decepticons were flying vehicles. Megatron should be an A-10 Thunderbolt II or an attack helicopter.

Did anyone see the original demo reel that ILM did... it had a sunstreaker type robot transforming and it looked fucking awesome. Sort of like a giant alternator toy. I felt giddy when I saw that, but then felt a new level of disapointment when I saw the shitheaps they became.

I love the TRANSFORMERS franchise; the movies are dogshit, mind you, but they serve to keep Michael Bay miles away from any movie project I care about. I hope all Transformers movie are mega hits that keep Bay chained to this franchise, cranking out a new edition every two or three years as far as the eye can see. Now, if we can only arrange for Brett Ratner to take on the Go-Bots franchise...

Even though that's what trailers are made for, you aren't allowed to judge a movie from those.You can't judge anything unless you watch the movie at least three times and have made your own movie and can design your own robots.If you haven't done any of that and still think the movie is bad then I suggest you watch it more times cause you're not trying hard enough. Also if you liked the original cartoon then you have to like this by default because this is much better and has so much more class and it isn't made to sell merchandise at all. That's what I learn from reading these wonderful things. That and money=quality. Also the best comments are from people who only have one post.

Let’s face it guys. Movies (like all ART) is so subjective. Everyone will always argue why the movie they like is so much better than the movie you like. You think the CAMERA moves to fast, I think the PACEING is too slow. Mine doesn’t have character, yours has shit story and blah, blah, fucking blah. It’s an argument that cannot be won.
I do find it a little weird when someone tries to explain why the movie someone likes is in actuality, bad. Like we all have our own opinions. But if you disagree with mine, “let me point out why mine s better than yours”.
Oh wait a minute. This site might mainly be to talk trash about why the movies I like are better than the ones some of you guys like. Hmm.. so be it then.
