‘You’re A Priest!! Pray!!’ Friday Brings Likely The Last Episode Ever Of TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES!!

I am – Hercules!!
Last week’s episode was written by Toni Graphia, who worked with Ronald D. Moore on “Roswell,” “Carnivale” and “Battlestar Galactica” before she hooked up with what may turn out to be Sarah Connor’s final adventures. Give her big points for killing off “90210” icon Brian Austin Green in the first act, before his name hit the opening credits. (In the very unlikely event Fox picks up the superlow-rated TSCC for a third season, I’ve every confidence producers will bring Green back as an evil Derek from a different timeline or maybe a robot.) Savannah explained to John Connor about her imaginary friend who lives in the basement with a cord in the back of his head. Catherine Weaver told James Ellison that she does not love John Henry more than her not-really-daughter Savannah. Then Sarah tried to beat up the LAPD and the robot sang a song of trousers. Digression. Garret Dillahunt is ubiquitous, and he’s now logged more hours of “Sarah Connor” than of any other primetime series. His output for the last five years: 2004 6 hours of “Deadwood” 2 hours of “A Minute With Stan Hooper” 2005 10 hours of “Deadwood” (playing Francis Wolcott this time) 6 hours of “The 4400” 2 hours of “ER” 1 hour of “The Inside” 1 hour of “CSI NY” 2006 8 hours of “Book of Daniel” (playing Jesus Christ) 5 hours of “The 4400” 3 hours of “ER” 1 hour of “Law & Order” 1 hour of “Numb3rs” 2007 8 hours of “John From Cincinnati” 4 hours of “Damages” 1 hour of “Life” 2008 12 hours of “The Sarah Connor Chronicles” 1 hour of “Life” 2009 6 hours of “The Sarah Connor Chronicles” None of this counts his big-screen work in 2007’s “The Assassination of Jesse James” and “No Country For Old Men” or last month’s “Last House On The Left.” End digression. Fox says of tonight’s season – and likely series – finale:
The Connors come face-to-face with Weaver in a confrontation that shakes John to the core and changes his reality forever.
Fittingly, Sony is running a new trailer for next month’s “Terminator Salvation” during tonight’s finale. Fox announces its 2009-2010 schedule, with or without Sarah Connor, May 18. Pour your misery down on me. 8 p.m. Friday. Fox. This is the noise that keeps me awake.
