No, we go in, we kill, no more talk, we kill, soon my dog of war
by livahd
you just you just wait!
-
The first 3 were stellar, though.
-
This season has been the worst of the entire series run.
-
Remember when it was called South Park?
-
it's Nuked the Fridge.
big time.
Fuck Parker and Stone!
what a bunch of queef sniffers. -
Horrible episode last week.
-
They have always dragged one gag out over the entire episode. This is nothing new.
I agree the show is a shadow of its former self; but you still get the occasional chuckle. -
It's still South Park,..and you turds are just bitching and moaning again...
I guess the Queef ep just pissed off the basement geeks,....never had to smell one I guess,...they're jealous. -
But the three episodes before that were solid. People have a habit of remembering the very best SP past, and ignoring the shit. The show is still damn funny.
-
...and: Go!
-
...who's a cheap clone of Homer Simpson who's a cheap clone of Herman Munster who's a cheap clone of Ralph Kramden who's a cheap clone of Lou Costello who's a cheap clone of Buster Keaton who's a cheap clone of Harold Lloyd who's a cheap clone of Dr. Zoiberg.
-
I really don't know where the idea that SP has jumped the Shark is coming from. Out of every 7 there's at least 1 or 2 really good ones and occasional the masterpiece; 2 to 3 pretty good ones and the rest are okay. Still. Even after a decade plus, the show is always the ballsiest mainstream satire out there. They may not hit a bullseye every week but they're more likely to take shots at the sacred cows than anyone else.
-
I'm a big SP fan. But, every once in awhile they have an episode that falls flat. Last Wed's episode wasn't funny at all. Besides 'The Coon' which was brilliant, this young season has been pretty lame. Hopefully tonight's will be funny.
-
saying that phrase makes you sound like an 18 year old taking film/tv classes at the Learning Annex. It isn't clever. It is just unoriginal.
-
The rest of the season has been solid. I tend to never enjoy their 'one-joke' episodes and honestly, I never liked Terrance and Philip. I still love the show and will continue loving it. Like I said a few weeks back, we will all be heartbroken the day that Trey Parker dies.
-
Lighten up, geez. You're just as humorless as all the men in SouthPark were last week (and last night when I thought that it was Wednesday, not Tuesday [and I had missed the Queefing last week])
-
Except for one or two episodes each season, Family Guy is fucking terrible. You'd have to be retarded to enjoy the retarded things those retarded characters do. God I hate that show. And I used to love it; the first seasons were great. Now is just one half hour of stupidity. Even American Dad, which also isn't as funny as it used to be, is way way better than that. South Park is the opposite; mostly good or great episodes each season, with one or two exceptions. Like the queef one, which was as stupid and pointless as "More crap", where Randy gets an Emmy for taking a dump. Somebody should punch the creators in the face each time they come up with episodes like that.
-
I HATE it when a joke is repeated ad nauseum on SP! Its a skipper!
-
especially when they are from slightly chunky ex pornstars in their 40s. What the people who think last weeks South Park was awful need to take into consideration is it was April Fools. Only the joke was that you sit and watch that whole episode, and at the end of it you are like "damn I just watched that shit". THAT is the April Fool's joke. Like, gotcha, you just watched a 30 minute episode about pussyfarts.

I enjoyed the queef episode. It was silly, but who cares!
by buckys_kick_ass_arm
-
no comedy just Macfarlane craming his believes down the viewers throat. you know just like Matt and Trey do, except Matt and Trey try to have someone on the show with an opposite view to balance it
-
I think Matt and Trey should take their money and run and do something else. Give over the reigns to someone else maybe Vernon Chatman.
-

Please tell me they're going to rip on Dane Cook or Carlos Menci
by jordo
That would be amazing. I wonder if Comedy Central would allow that.
-
Well, this show's got at least some worth. Bravo.
-
Ask and ye shall receive.
-
How lazy matt and trey are getting on their voice work as of the past few seasons? There is no more effort. Take last week for examplePliilip sounds just like stan where they ddint before and perofrmed by the same guy. Voices are blending or they change a characters voice and ruin what was funny about him. Example:cartman
-
for trashing Mencia and Kanye in the same episode
-
On a quick off topic South Park note...
Have any of you looked at what TV guide did raping the classic www.jumptheshark.com website- it was turned into a gossip blog back in March. THey even made it so you cant read the cached archive content from the last 8 years. Some of the hard core fans have made a new site to try to bring back the classic JTS that many of us loved to read www.bonethefish.com
Screw TV guide for trashing that classic site. -
That shit was hilarious. I honestly think Kanye will sue them now. And yes, the had balls enough to rip on Carlos Mencia from their own network-lamest comedian ever, dididi-dick.
-
I love me some South Park. Have over 80 eps. on my xbox. But seriously, that ep. sucked big fat rhino balls! So far this season, I've dug on the ring and eat, pray, queef. The coon and Margaritaville were okay, but nothing special. But this one was one of the worst I've ever seen from Trey and Matt. Even when they took potshots at Carlos MenSTEALia it wasn't funny, and he's the lamest joke-stealing douchebag in comedy! I didn't get one single chuckle in the entire 30-min ep. And even the crappy ones usually hold a giggle or two. Hopefully next week knocks one out of the park...
-
I got a chuckle out of how they had Leno add just that little touch of smarmy suckiness to the joke delivery. The gay fish song had me rolling, but damn my DVR for cutting off the end.
-
rest of the episode was OK. I mean, Kanye and Mencia make easy targets, and the end (pre-fish sex) was a little too easy.
-
I normally watch evening shows with a houseful of people, my place sees a lot of traffic of all different types of folk. Consistently, South Park always makes us laugh. Sometimes we will laugh as a group at something that may have been a silent smile viewing alone or even 'gasp' an analytical sneer. Then it hit me. Most TBers who jump at criticizing something so relentlessly must be watching it alone. Think about it, alone, you are always more analytical, less likely to guffaw at a 'good enough' joke then you would with a group. Also, you feel the need to complain on the internet because you watched it alone and have noone to complain to in person. I've had many a good in-house debates over movies/shows (ahem Wolverine bootleg) and when I'm done, I don't feel the need to complain on the internet because I got it out of my system. If you don't have friends/significant others, then the internet is really your only social outlet, and that alone has to breed a certain amount of inner turmoil in the first place, before your opinions are even formed about said viewing. Your looking to complain because you think you are owed something. Trey Parker and Matt Stone don't owe us ANYTHING. For over a decade they have paid there dues, with interest, interest enough to vastly outweigh the occasional sub-par episode. But you TBers are obsessed with just beating someone (even someone you do/used to admire) until they are only fragments of what they oncewere. Then you win, you've ruined a once good thing with obsessive negativity. South Park isn't getting worse, you are. It's the same show it's always been. I know there are a lot of off color remarks about shut-in geeks killing themselves due to loneliness and depression, but if your only social outlet is going on the internet and dissecting a sitcom like it's a fucking frog, well, maybe you should just end it all. We do have a population problem. I can honestly say as a TB reader and casual contributor, that about 1/4 of you would be missed in no one's eyes. In short...watch it or don't.
-
Had to re-record it... GayFish>Heartless...
-
If Matt and Trey insist on turning out stuff this boring they need to just go to Fox.
-
Most things>Heartless
Kanye bits had me cracking up the most just because he's actually said alot of that stuff. Cartman's fantasies were great as well - how they kept becoming more and more fantastical. The Flame On! was the best part of his fantasies. All in all I was happy. -
I couldnt disagree more about the voice work. As an example, the voice work done with Cartman in the episode when he gets the shit kicked out of him by Wendy. Brilliant.
-
Kanye's ego is huge and Carlos steals other people's jokes. Just ask Lopez.
-
do you like putting them in your mouth?
what are you? a gay fish? -
where he was going...
he said to get car parts...
i said, "so, to autozone or the fishmarket?" -
carp hearts?
-
to prime time. ZING!
-
Because as sad as it makes me, I no longer find South Park funny, at all. I couldn't even pay attention this week. These episodes are awful.
-
boring, banal, blah.
That describes "Fishsticks" -
but you do act way too fuckin cocky now days. plus your new album is full of autotune singing. go back to rapping and not whining about awards please
-
This had so many things going for it. I really like that somebody finally took on that gas bag Kayne West and shitheel Calos Mensia or whatever he calls himself. Kayne is a Gay Fish.
-
I also didn't really appreciate this show that much, but I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that to me Carlos Mencia and Kanye West are just names. I don't know anything about them so it makes it hard for me to appreciate satire about them. I have never watched Mind of Mencia for even two minutes and I have never heard a Kanye song, to the best of my knowledge. So when South Park does something like mock Cloverfield or the Dark Knight, I laugh - when they mock someone I don't know a lot about, I don't. Pretty simple really.
-
The main jokes about Carlos and Kanye were funny if you do know a little about them. I don't watch the t.v. show but do know that Carlos Mencia has stolen many jokes before. Just look it up on youtube and you'll see what he's taken. So they used him and the "joke" to make fun of how he steals jokes. And the Kanye thing isn't even about his music. It's more making fun of his ego and how he thinks he's god's gift to earth. He talks similarly to his character on South Park sometimes...and is so much in his own world that it's funny that he wouldn't get the joke.
I loved the episode -
tee fucking hee Trey
-
South Park is not exactly a hot commodity anymore.
-
Here's what Kanye has to say:
"SOUTH PARK MURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT'S PRETTY FUNNY. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SOUTH PARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER. I USE TO USE IT TO BUILD UP MY ESTEEM WHEN NOBODY BELIEVED IN ME. NOW THAT PEOPLE DO BELIEVE AND SUPPORT MY MUSIC AND PRODUCTS THE BEST RESPONSE IS THANK YOU INSTEAD OF "I TOLD YOU SO!!!" IT'S COOL TO TALK SHIT WHEN YOU'RE RAPPING BUT NOT IN REAL LIFE. WHEN YOU MEET LITTLE WAYNE IN PERSON HE'S THE NICEST GUY FOR EXAMPLE. I JUST WANNA BE A DOPER PERSON WHICH STARTS WITH ME NOT ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HOW DOPE I THINK I AM. I NEED TO JUST GET PAST MYSELF. DROP THE BRAVADO AND JUST MAKE DOPE PRODUCT. EVERYTHING IS NOT THAT SERIOUS. AS LONG AS PEOPLE THINK I ACT LIKE A BITCH THIS TYPE OF SHIT WILL HAPPEN TO ME. I GOT A LONG ROAD AHEAD OF ME TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE I'M NOT ACTUALLY A HUGE DOUCHE BUT I'M UP FOR THE CHALLENGE. I'M SURE THE WRITERS AT SOUTH PARK ARE REALLY NICE PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DRAW MY CREW. THAT WAS PRETTY FUNNY ALSO!! I'M SURE THERE'S GRAMMATICAL ERRORS IN THIS... THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW IT'S ME!" -
The show gets really grating when it strives for relevance just because its not smart enough for the commentary, unlike Simpsons and South Park. However, the show is achingly hilarious when it comes to pop culture and Seth McFarlane does great voice work (loved him in Hellboy II). I about lost it when Stewie dared Brian to name a song named after a girl (Brina listed about fifty one after the other). Aside from the weak stories, unlikable characters, and political reaches the show has a bad habit of recycling old jokes or taking jokes way longer than they need to be (the Conway Twitty stuff is funny for thirty seconds but they once dragged it on for three to four minutes). I wish McFarlane would get a grip on what story is like Parker and Stone did.
-
Denis Leary. I know that accusation has floated around for years but I'm starting to consider it more seriously after seeing him on Letterman the other day. He went on and on about bacon and it sounded almost exactly like Jim Gaffigans routine. Granted its not his strongest routine, and not his most original, but Leary's setup was very close to what Gaffigan says on the stage. Shame, I like Denis Leary.
Carlos Mencia can suck it, however. -
I don't know much about Kanye West or Carlos Mencia but I know enough to get it. It's not like you have to be well acquainted with them to find it funny. The end sequence nailed Kanye West's music.
-
was weak, last night episode exists to prove them wrong. Despite Cartman's ever-expanding memory fabrication (JEWBOTS!!), and Jimmy an always underused character who was given something to do (why th-th-th-th-tha- you're welcome), it boiled down to a slam on Kanye West. Take that Kanye!! You've been served!! Oooohh, how timely guys.
-
at least hes real about it and not whining. last weeks episode did suck btw...this one was pretty good though. it looks like south park has jumped the shark though.
-
My deeeeiiick don't work. That was hysterical. Now if only he would dissapear forever.
-
What a great episode! Not a masterpiece like EPQ, but still achingly funny with an amazing third act.
Those who are hyper critical here, who don't get what South Park is doing, and don't get that the show is actually better than it's ever been -I'd venture to say have never really got the show in the first place.
To them it was a goofy lark that they felt they discovered - and when the show grew into greatness and popularity in unexpected ways - the losers felt compelled to try and tear it down on random internet billboards.
Well guess what? Allow me to borrow from the internet lexicon and just say...
EPIC FAIL.
South Park is better than ever, with or without the self-important and ego masturbating "jumped the shark" label imposed by a handful of losers to make themselves feel more important than they are. -
that these people are isolated and alone because their constant negativity and bitching has driven off every one of their 'real' friends. There have been people that I was pretty tight with for many years that I wrote off due to their constant negative whiney bullshit; they're like an endless loop of complaining, pissing and moaning about every damn thing on earth. If that's REALLY how they view life and are that unhappy, either get some therapy, some good drugs, or hop in the old convertible and take the Thelma & Louise plunge. Oh, and South Park still rules!
-
In my opinion I think South Park is much better and infinately more intelligent now than it ever used to be. Seriously, has anyone ever gone back and watched the first few episodes? Nothing but "HA HA you just farted" and Stan throwing up every two seconds.
-
I loved when he was on Conan he wouldn't stop moving, that just cracked me up for some reason? But is this show down to just 3 voice actors these days? Just sounds like they got a couple of guys and one chick doing all the voices.
-
...at the face of the fish at the end. Quite simply genius. This season has been GOLD so far. Can someone please tell me where South Park have EVER put a foot wrong (unlike The Simpsons).? Answers on a postcard.
