The facts are these. ABC will air the final TV adventures of Ned, Chuck, Emerson and Olive over three consecutive Saturdays, from May 30 to June 13. (Their stories may continue in funnybooks written by series mastermind Bryan Fuller.) Viewers learned this week that the final three episodes would also become available on DVD and Blu-ray July 21. Mike Judge’s animated sitcom “The Goode Family” will take over the Wednesday “Lost” timeslot starting May 27. Its lead-in will be ABC’s highly rated “Wipeout,” which bodes well. ABC also has a new reality show, “Dating in the Dark,” in which men and women get to know each other without learning how much they weigh. Reality shows back this summer besides “Wipeout” are “The Bachelorette,” “Here Come The Newlyweds,” “I Survived a Japanese Game Show” and a celebrity edition of “Superstars.” James Hibberd at the Hollywood Reporter has more on ABC’s summer plans here.
