Learn When ABC Burns Off The Final Three PUSHING DAISIES And The Premiere Date Of Mike Judge’s THE GOODE FAMILY!!

Published at:  Apr 08, 2009 3:46:36 PM CDT

I am – Hercules!!

The facts are these.

ABC will air the final TV adventures of Ned, Chuck, Emerson and Olive over three consecutive Saturdays, from May 30 to June 13. (Their stories may continue in funnybooks written by series mastermind Bryan Fuller.)

Viewers learned this week that the final three episodes would also become available on DVD and Blu-ray July 21.

Mike Judge’s animated sitcom “The Goode Family” will take over the Wednesday “Lost” timeslot starting May 27. Its lead-in will be ABC’s highly rated “Wipeout,” which bodes well.

ABC also has a new reality show, “Dating in the Dark,” in which men and women get to know each other without learning how much they weigh.

Reality shows back this summer besides “Wipeout” are “The Bachelorette,” “Here Come The Newlyweds,” “I Survived a Japanese Game Show” and a celebrity edition of “Superstars.”

James Hibberd at the Hollywood Reporter has more on ABC’s summer plans here.

    Eli Stone

    by gislef_crow

Supposedly ABC is going to burn off the remaining episodes of Dirty Sexy Money, and Eli Stone, in the Saturday timeslot after Pushing Daisies wraps up. No definite confirmation yet, or which will show first. Eli Stone premiered in Ireland, and I believe the last episode just aired in the UK on UK Sci-Fi.

    BTW Herc!

    by derlanghaarige

Now that I know that they are on YouTube, which means that everybody could see them, even if most of them probably didn't understand a word, does that mean, that I don't have to ask my buddy, who recorded every single episode, to give them to me, so that I can review them before they air in the USA? Or are you interested anyway? It's Easter weekend (in Germany), so that means I got nothing to do.

    Disgusting

    by 24200124

A show as imaginative, quirky, and fun as "Pushing Daisies" gets knocked off in favor of... “Dating in the Dark,” “Wipeout”, “The Bachelorette,” “Here Come The Newlyweds,” “I Survived a Japanese Game Show” and “Superstars.” Disgusting. Is it just me, or does the film "Idiocracy" spring to mind for anyone else?

IS NEW WHIPEOUT! God that show is great. Twice the imagination of Pooping Daisey's, and four times the intrigue and mystery of Lost.

    The Goode Family

    by bloo

sounds alot like me to a BBC sitcom from the 70s called The Good Life (Good Neighbors here in the states) that some friends of mine just introduced me to. Not just the name, but the whole "living off the land" thing. if it was anyone but Judge I'd be even more critical
