Behind the scenesy stuff, but you get a look at Tony Stark's return and the first look at Don Cheadle in costume... of course it just looks like Don Cheadle in a suit, but it's the first look nonetheless. Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'm out for comment on this particular rumor, but I figured it was too weird and potentially awesome not to throw out there. IESB is reporting that Garry Shandling was on set today, the first day of shooting on IM2. Apparently, Robert Downey Jr. mentioned Shandling being in the movie last week... which was news to me, but last week I was buried in ShoWest and/or poker in Vegas, so I wouldn't be surprised if that information slipped past me.

IESB says Shandling was shooting in a scene that is to be a continuation of the "I Am Iron Man" press conference scene that ended the first flick, guessing that Shandling might be a reporter or Senator of some sort. I think Shandling playing a pain in the ass investigative journalist would be pretty swell, personally.

Like I said, I'm out for comment, but pairing Shandling and Downey together makes me happy, if curious how their particular chemistry can work in an Iron Man flick.
