Comedy Central says of tonight’s installment, “Eat, Pray, Queef”:
Someone played an April Fools joke on the boys and it didn’t go over well. Butters is incapacitated, Cartman is furious and the rest of the boys are afraid someone might do it again.
After tonight, only three more new episodes till October.
10 p.m. Wednesday. Comedy Central.

It's a 14-episode season, 7 from March to April and 7 from November to December.
This looks like a must-watch episode, just to see Cartman's revenge from being queefed on. -

a few years ago, "due to the tragic events in hawaii, tonights lemminwinks episode will not be shown," was part of an april fools prank they played. They hyped a lemmiwinks episode for weeks, and then instead aired something else. Nothing happened in Hawaii, not now or then.

I personally felt last week's episode, with its Jesus parallels, was one of their smarter written episodes. This one sounds like the worst of the season so far, but we shall see. I'd also be totally up for them doing some sort of April Fool's joke.

But I thought this one was about how one said has spent the last 8 years bashing the president, and now that the shoe is on the other foot, they're pissed when the other side does the same thing.
Or maybe I'm reading something into this that's not here? -
....but then also on the other side of it... the party that was in office for 8 years considered anyone who spoke out against them unamerican... and now they're the ones relentlessly criticizing the current administration in power, hoping for them to fail... I feel like the worst thing you can do is to try and over intellectualize south park... completely takes away from the funny.

Oh but it's so fun to intellectualize, especially since it's the only cartoon that actually does anything worth analyzing.
I realized maybe I just flashed back to the Turd Sandwich vs. Giant Douche episode. -

I laughed out loud more times during that episode than I have in many seasons of South Park. Matt and Trey are on a roll this season--they're clearly making up for last season. Great job guys!!

other than the usual trolls - consensus seems to be this was a winner in a big way. Doesn't really matter what a few say, most love it, I personally think this is one of the best ever. Extraordinary episode, not only one of the funniest, one of the meatiest.

they were referencing as when the first did it waaaaaay back at the start of the second season when instead of telling people who cartmans father was they had an episode dedicated to Terrence and Phillip...I remember cos I was pretty miffed at the time :S

I do. And I usually find most of their episodes brilliant. This one, however, was a misfire for me. Uncomfortable and gross? Yes. Funny? Meh, not so much. The highlight of the episode (sadly) was seeing Terrance and Phillip's tiny little cubic penises... peni? That did illicit a chuckle from me.
