Twitter Updates For Gilliam's DOCTOR PARNASSUS Go Live!! + New MONTY PYTHON Docu-Thingie Coming Soon (From Alan Parker)!!

The Powers That Be on Terry Gilliam's THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS have launched Twitter updates that you can sign up to receive HERE.
Twitter users (what're they called - Twitterers? Twits?) will be updated regarding production happenings as the film inches towards global release, and presumably finds a U.S. distributor.
A few days ago we learned that Gilliam was also involved with an Alan Parker directed documentary(ish) thing called MONTY PYTHON: ALMOST THE TRUTH (THE LAYWER'S CUT), along with PYTHON alum Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, and John Cleese. Look for it on IFC here in the States - a DVD/Blu-Ray release should follow 'round October. More details re: ALMOST THE TRUTH, including celebrity guests who'll be appearing, can be found HERE.
The entire MONTY PYTHON'S FLYING CIRCUS BBC series was released as a "Collectors Edition Megaset" shortly before Christmas, which can be found HERE

Is about as dead as Graham Chapman. Looking forward to Gilliam's new flick. I really do like all his stuff with the exception of the Brothers Grimm which could have been something far more special. Oh, and Python never gets old.
