‘You Don’t Have A Lot Of Time!!’ 24 7.15!!
SPOILER ALERT !!
I am – Hercules!!
Blaine Mayer foolishly tried to mock Jack Bauer during a Congressional hearing. A few hours later, the world thinks Jack Bauer killed both Mayer and Mayer’s chief of staff. I bet the other 99 U.S. senators are going to be a lot nicer if and when that hearing reconvenes. I bet Nancy Pelosi thanks him for all his bold efforts and offers to fetch him a snack.
Fox says of 7.15:
Perilous circumstances lead Jack Bauer and Tony Almeida to a shipyard, and back at the FBI, Agent Moss needs complete cooperation from his staff when the stressful situation takes an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, First Daughter Olivia Taylor (guest star Sprague Grayden) becomes increasingly involved in the politicking, and the administration reels when a high-ranking official delivers devastating news. Guest Cast: Jon Voight as Jonas Hodges; Michael Rodrick as Stokes; Kevin Fry-Bowers as Cooper; Connor Trinneer as Carl Gadsen; Glenn Morshower as Aaron Pierce; Cameron Daddo as Vice President Hayworth; Sprague Grayden as Olivia Taylor; Rory Cochrane as Greg Seaton; Stephen Jared as Greer.
9 p.m. Monday. Fox.

There are, umm... 100 U.S. Senators, not 50. Nice try though.
Am I first?! -
Holy crap, I was first!
Ok, well...that was fun, moving on... -
...for "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" anytime soon.
-
There are 99 now. And the day isn't over. Jack could get it down to 50 I'm sure.
-
always super-wide?
-
He coined the nickname Tony "Baloney" Almeida.
-

-
It's been a while since I saw this guy in anything. I wonder if his casting is anything to do with Brannon Braga...? ;)
-
Actually...he had a semi-regular guest role on Startgate:Atlantis. Ok, so that's not saying much since I guess I'm one of ten's of people that watched (and liked) the show - so, nevermind then...welcome back Connor Trinneer!
-
is Speaker of the House, not in the Senate.
-
from fetching a Jack Snack!
-
Thanks for the SPOILER, ass. Seriously though I think its cool they got Trip on tonight. Maybe they can hire Jolen Blalock as a Starkwood mercenary who gets in a fight with Rack. -
Great, now I won't get that song out of my head. Thanks.
-
Terminator: Sarah Connor Trainwreck...err ... Chronicles. Don't you remember? He was the plot device/twist/woman-beater. In addition to Stargate: Atlantis, I think he played an alien of some sort in another series. I can't recall which one, but he was made up with latex, so you wouldn't know it was him anyway.
By the way, Scott "Archer" Bakula is playing "Chuck"'s father this season. -
They're getting to the point where she's a secondary character and I don't like it. BOOHOO
-
and she's got a great rack. They're shaped just right and they bounce nicely. A+ stuff.
-
He was an Eric Rudolph-style character on Numb3rs a couple seasons back, and was in the Luke Perry polygamy cult episode of Criminal Minds as an FBI(?) guy.
-
Its nice to have a chick on 24 who falls into a category other than idiot, bitchy, or victim. -
Still awaiting final word on the Franken-Coleman (I think that's the other dude's name) debacle.
-
She's not bitchy. She's just honest and speaks her mind.
-
She started out as a whiny victim, but kicked serious butt in Season 3 (of course, then they had to go and kill her, which I will never, ever, forgive them for).
-
So was Michelle. Don't stone me guys. -
For all we know she'll turn up next season working for Emerson
-
will be a terror cell comprised of Michelle, David Palmer Ryan Chapelle, and Teri who are all angry at America for wrongly being declared dead and accidentally buried alive. -
Although what I really want is a prequel season set during the David Palmer years.
-
She ain't dead, guys. She's back in 1977, in the Dharma Initiative.
-
Obviously he talks to himself.
-
Or has he just been hanging out with Tony Almeida for the last few episodes? And why doesn't the president (or their daughter) seem to care? I enjoy table crumpling choke slams as much as the next guy, but that may have been one storyline too many.
-
will awake from surgery around Midnight-1 A.M to lay the smackdown on Olivia, who will have been involved in his son's death somehow. Not a spoiler, just a prediction...because what else can they do with his character?
-
but still kind of bitchy.
-
Wait..Chuck as in NBC Chuck's father or Chuck as in chic from Pushing Daisies??? Either way he better not be in drag...just sayin...
-
You're supposed to put some inviso-text in these articles. I really look forward to that dammit!
-
This season is on fire. Thankfully Tony gets back into the action tonight. He's shady as all hell though.
-
This is the problem with a show being solid. Fans are content to enjoy the ride without being overly enthusiastic, and haters have nothing to say.
-
Run Renee run! preferably in a wet t-shirt again. Nice Juggs!
-
Personally, at this rate, I hoping that Jack Baer can get everyone in both houses bumped off so the country can start over and get competent people this time around. Doesn't matter which side of the isle these people sit. I don't know if there is a single brain in the entire House of Representives. There might be a brain and a half in the Senate. Sorry, enough politicizing.
-
I realize that I am in the minority here. This season has been absurd and really silly. Nothing, nothing at all is original, except for one thing. Jack's dilemma. Does he go too far? That is when the shows have some depth. Otherwise, there has been nothing in this show at all that is original or the least bit entertaining. I usually watch "Top Gear" instead of this or "Heroes."
-
24 and lost were shown in Ireland back to back on a sunday night. On sky one. That was fine and dandy. On rte Lost was shown on Monday night. and was like that for years. It was very much a regular thing something that irish viewers got used to. Then it all changed this year. Sky moved 24 hours to a monday night slot. at 9pm. Why they did this I have no idea. However the most irritating thing is that RTE moved Lost to the sunday night slot up against Lost on sky one at 9pm. I think this is utter lunacy and make no sense whatsoever. Two shows on at the same time on the same day is just nuts. I wish that Rte would also show 4 at a reasonable time like say ten pm. This is why I am loosing at on both show that I have watched since their inception. GRRRR
-
that and the new accessory for the Jack Sack:
The Jack Baur Ultimate Screwdriver!! Kill your enemy and start a car, all with one swift motion Now that's entertainment -
Hmmm let's see 1. Guy named Jack. Check 2. Freckle-faced babe. Check 3. Bug eyed villian (Papa Jolie used to be a bit bug eyed in his Deliverance moustache days). Check. Now all we need is to get Tony to die his hair blonde and not shave. To bring back Edgar and get him to gain some more weight and not shave too often. And get some Irish/Australian/Canadian accented guy to call Jack Laddy/Mate/HowsitgoinEh every once in a while. Then make Chloe blonde, pregnant, Korean and an Other.
-
...and shave his head and beard.
-
I don't even know what to say, was that a joke?
-
Tony is enjoying his high flying domestic terrorist lifestyle. No more CTU sweatshirsts, nothing but leather jackets from now on.
-
to put the gun in his mouth
-
If Jack wanted to kill Senator Mayer, why not kill him during the firefight at the White House? Too much sharing of the idiot stick here.
-
Trip isn't making it to the next hour, thanks to the classic "this is the wife, so you'll feel sorry when he dies" lead in.
-
Honey, I love talking to you on my Sprint Nextel Phone TM, I'm sure I'll get home with absolutely no problem. Where did Jack get that awesome gun? Oh yeah, he stole it from Quinn
-
Wonder what other Enterprise alum will show up next?
-
Separating Jonas from Starkwood to prevent angry Halliburton fans
-
Once Jack lays it out like that, I'm sure Trip will just buy right into it.
-
He's just trying to make money to repair a transporter
-
Getting shot by Jack? Getting shot by Tony? Getting shot by Terrorist? Which do you think is how Trip dies?
-
Pfft pfft DAMMIT! lol that guy talks like barney fife
-
Pirates after Shran, of course. Great, now I just punched a hole in the wall. Thanks for dredging up old memories.
-
Ooooh, I'll have to watch that
-
Trip is here for a reason folks...
Kinda miss Jericho sometimes, that show was really starting to heat up. -
Execution style? In a crossfire? How's he gonna buy it?
-
Knew it. Fucking Olivia.
-
He's been in something.
-
And you, Olivia, are no Sherry Palmer
-
But hey he's trying
-
Jack, maybe you should call the FBI FIRST, before you get pinned down by a bunch of mercenaries.
-
No one fucks his dead wife. NO ONE.
-
they just have him wear a red shirt and get it over with.
-
....and more suspence and action than tonight's 24? Last week's Supernatural. That's what.
-
Better late than never
-
...and the location of his body?
-
DAMMIT!
-
On the docks. This is a pretty good soundrack this season.
-
sweeping the area
-
When did Jack... um.... care? There's NO WAY this decision even comes UP 6 seasons ago.
-
Black Bauer! Chappelle!... Fuck that.
-
Don't forget...Jack saved Chloe's friend early in Season 4 too. He took a chance there. He should've let the kid die.
-
No reason to change now
-
and uses the weapons himself!
-
Who was that?
-
to show that Jack's methods have cost him too much? If he just keeps killing/letting everyone die, then that shows absolutely no growth whatsoever, and this season would have been a wash. It's especially good considering it came right after last week's talk w/ Senator Mayer.
-
Now that was some Die Hard 4.0 Quality action. Jack took a que from the 'ol T100 himself. Tony is about to be tortured, impossible decision time.
-
this time. Dammit!
-
We've been saved from the Denobulan menace yet again!
-
Throwing the guy out of the truck.
n/m -
Maybe he's trying to make up for it
-
Thought you were talking about one of the bad guy actors.
-
Solo is still alive?
-
been about Jack's gradual return to humanity. It's hard to sympathize with a completely remorseless killer/torturer (as cool as he may be).
-
This season and next!
-
he needed the Bandit!
-
Bloody hell.
-
That would've been a nice touch to freak out everybody
-
Is that proof enough for ya, Moss??
-
Or George Mason? You decide.
-
Jack will get sick, and have to settle down with Rack, and will be Tony's Bill next season. TONY GETS THE SPOTLIGHT NEXT YEAR.
-
That really would be a GREAT Season 8. "DOA" style. Jack's basically DEAD and just trying to solve one last crisis.
-
But I do wish there was a Denny's nearby
-
I have the overpowering urge to bawl like a baby! What the hell kind of writing does that to a grown man! Poor jack! Hes been exposed! This is AWESOME shit!
-
Should have driven that truck right into the Potomac. This ep really did leave us 'gasping for breath' lol
-
What was the line the doc says about Bauer at the end of the preview?
-
Really bad advice there. Glad I didn't/never listen.
-
Not as good as the last few hours... but I love the idea of Jack going out George Mason style.
-
into the water/off the road...he didn't know what he was carrying, and the contaminated water/air could have ended up killing a lot of people.
-
What's the final line said when they're showing Jack? I couldn't make it out and they don't caption previews (dammit!)
-
I think it was something about the results of his blood work being in or complete.
-
The final line was: "We have the results of Mr. Bauer's blood work."
-
There's no way Jack is exposed. What was probably in the canister was just some sort of cooling agent to ensure optimal stable temperature. It's nothing but a cheap way to raise dramatic tension. Because, you know, the writers of 24 aren't ballsy enough to actually have Bauer infected.
That being said, I kind of wish that Bauer was infected. Not that I want him dead, but it'd at least add a certain amount of personal desperation that would make the rest of the day interesting. -
There has to be another plot beyond that one. Olivia-driven? Or someone behind Jon Voight.
PS: Voight's assistant needs to learn another expression besides 'worried'. You'd think he spent a few seasons starring on a show where the main character only had one expression. Oh wait ... -
Jack was indeed exposed. That's why Kim comes back into the picture. Since they're releasing the season 7 DVD so soon after the season ends, the deleted/extended scene list was leaked online. One of them had Renee calling Kim to tell her Jack is sick in episode 18.
-
.... and the cliffhanger for the season end will be a super sick Jack giving it his all and we have to wait for next season to figure out if he makes it...
-
That Jack Bauer is accused of murdering the Senator. Then gets one-upped when another news source finds out Jack's no longer accused. Will he be pissed, or still hold out hope for some First Daughter action?
-
Do you think posting leaked spoilers into a Talkback is either cool or sensible in any way? Allow me to provide an answer for you: No. Thanks for being a prick.Of course, if that's not the case, my apologies. But, if it is true, go get fucked by a cattle prod.
-
That could easily have been made up. For instance, what about the deleted scene where tony pulls off his mask to reaveal Jonas Hodges.
-
...the apology is in my post if that's made up crap. The point is, though, dropping a post that might be a complete ruiner for future episodes is moronic. And if it turns out to be true then it's fucking shit beyond belief.
-
Dont read if u care that much to ruin your night + a post revealing that jack is infected after an episode of which the cliff hanger is jack gets exposed isn't a spoiler. Or that his daughter comes back since it is known.
-
After a phone call about jack being sick, kim gets thrust into the days events and into life altering trouble. Jack is faced with an impossible choice that may effect her life and what is left of his...and the world. Then decides to explore the earth 2 alone after freckles vanishes (angel???)
-
The fucking net is covered with you people. Shut the fuck up and dont read the net if you dont want spoilers. Shitheads. You ruin websites with your no spoiler shit. Fuck, what are we supposed to talk about? Fucking last week? You people make me sick!
-
is gonna come back and kick everyone's ass next season. Except Jack's and Rack's.
-
What exactly did I spoil? We all SAW Jack get exposed. All I did was refute the notion that he got burned by some stupid coolant. I don't know if it's fatal, etc. As for Kim coming back, that's been widely reported for months. Hardly a spoiler.
-
Jack lies dying while Behrooz, wayne palmer, one hand chase, Agent Pierce try to find the cure and save the world.......did Behrooz kill someone with a shovel and then just go away? He was badass.
-
Just say fuck off.
-
And one "NOW!!!"
-
sort of looked around nervously, gave a half-hearted wave and then high-tailed it out of there after Jack saved his sorry ass. I thought he would at least grab the gun from Jack-induced Dead Guy No. 932 and get a few shots in.
-
so it's obvious what's coming next...Jack needs some kind of transplant or live saving blood transfusion which only Kim Bauer can supply...so that is how she will get re-introduced into the mix...I remember an interview where they stated that Kim's return would not involve her being kidnapped or any other sort of trouble but would be about saving someone else...so is Jack gonna be out of action the rest of the season recuperating while Tony and Freckles do all the heavy lifting?
-
I should write TV shows!
-
Renee will be in a holding cell, talking to herself about some conversation she had with Jack, recalling how she slapped him twice. Then a pigeon will fly in and she'll start swiping at it with a chair, mumbling, "Frakkin bird!"
-
"You're a real hard-dick bitch, you know that Olivia?"
-
Ok, this season is just blowing me away now. Its now #2 in my book behind the perfect season 5, and who knows, if they keep this pace up it might become my favorite. Its like during the writer's strike, the writers decided to ditch the usual conventions and boil the show down to everyones favorite parts.
They keep changing things up every episode, you never feel (like in the begininning of this season) like you're waiting for a predictable arc to play out anymore, now, every episode they're just tossing new shit at you. And they have fantastic action sequences again. And they have tony and jack kicking ass together. And they have an awesome female sidekick for jack. And they Jon Voight as an awesome villain. Everything has really come together now, I guess they realized they had something to prove after season 6. -
Gotta love Voight's delivery on the lines about political assassination being a growth sector they might want to consider.
-
Unless he's Charles Logan 2.0, because he got the clueless dolt down pat. Obviously clearing Jack didn't benefit Starkwood, so if Moss is moling for someone it has to be whomever is "after Quinn" (I'm presuming it's not going to take 9 episodes to deal with Starkwood).
-
He can get a blood transfusion from Tony or the First Gentleman, who both have super-healing powers. If they can't bust Tony out, Claire will fly out from Costa Verde...meanwhile Habib Marwan has been spotted at Buy MoreNice little head fake they pulled with the preggo wife. And Voight rockin' the bluetooth. Is it safe to say that 24 is back?
-
I like season 7 overall, but they've really hit a groove the last few hours. It's been incredibly exciting. Back the way it gelt the first 4 seasons.
-
I'm a big, big fan of all this inner-turmoil, actually questioning yourself type of theme they are going for in this season. it's about time Jack has to really look at some of the things he does. The scene last night with the innocent security guard did a great job of this, even if it was a little "video-game" style to choose between letting him die and shooting the henchmen. The way he just said thank you and ran off and disappeared seemed like a choice in Grant Theft Auto to me, but it still worked. I'm glad Jack refused to let him die. Some of the politico, white house stuff is less itneresting than other seasons, and the First Daughter is the most annoying character since Kim (in a different way), but 24 is back in a big way. I'm just pissed Rack Bauer is stuck in a holding cell for 3 episodes. She is so hot, but she nothing to do! Lame.
-
The CDC is taking him in for the "Vita-Rays" treatment.
-
I agree w/ Crow3711. Get Rack outta that damn cell dammit!
-
Atones for his softness in saving the security guard which lead to his potential exposure to the bugs, Starkwood's continued possession of the bugs and acceleration of their planned use, and Tony's beatdown and coming torture. Bottom line: it doesn't pay to be a nice guy. Hope Moss appreciates the effort. Maybe he'll offer Jack his extra tampon and a DVD of Beaches as an attempt at bonding.
-
The Chairman of Starkwood - the guy who Voight spoke to after the meeting. Who plays him? I recognize him from something but can't remember what. He reminds me a bit of Dexter's dad from, well, "Dexter", though I know it's not him. Anyone?
-
Yep, best line of the night from Jon Voight. I had to replay that line twice it was so damn funny. I nominate Jon Voight for best '24' villian. He such an evil class act. Brilliant casting and hell of a episode! Easily one of the best '24' seasons ever.
-
Sutherland has just announced that he is coming back for an eighth season. Guess that puts to rest any suspicion about whatever toxin he inhaled last night.
-
Anyone else catch the "Raiders" like moments in this episode? When the crane is first lifting the container the music is ominous and sounds a lot like the Desert Chase theme in Raiders. Then Jack shoots the crane operator who appears to slump on the controls and the crane starts spinning and smashing into stuff (like the Flying Wing in Raiders), and finally jack boards a truck and throws the driver out in a shot that looks identical to when Indy did it. All that was missing was for Jack to get shot in the arm and thrown out the window (I'm guessing they left that out due to budget).
Just thought this was more than coincidence. -
In all these years, he hasn't been horribly tortured. It's his time.
-
They already have a script, and will start shooting it months early.
-
Charles Logan
-
Voights line about assassination."Two against nine"And that GREAT "DAMMIT!" after they stole the container.
-
Governor of Cali? Not sure what's canon about Logan, except for the fact that no matter what he was AWESOME.
-
The chairman guy was Starkwood was played by Chris Mulkey, who played Norma's ex-con husband Hank Jennings on Twin Peaks.
-
Actually, when the crap are they gonna get Desmond from Lost back to follow up on that teaser from season five?
-
Who gives a shit about the president's husband? I want a show of hands.
-
When the CDC gets there, I want them to discover that his shortness of breath and eye irritation are just because he hasn't been getting enough sleep.
-
Jack Bauer needs BSG's In-Head Six to appear to him and tell him what to do.
-
It's been driving me nuts since last night, and not amount of googling got me anywhere.
-
The vice president must be the third(fourth)layer of the conspiracy, his subplot hasn't been mentioned for quite a while.
-
I think that was in season 4, Sherm...I know you're usually on it, though..just thought I'd help!
-
Good calls. When the dock cue played, I was like, "good music", then "where have I heard that before?" It took me about 10 seconds to tell my wife it sounded like the Raiders truck chase music. Then when the crane started going nuts, I said, "Wow, that's like a Spielberg set piece". And then the truck... well, you know. Glad I'm not alone.
A few episodes back, the composer lifted a dramatic cue from James Horner, one that he used in Apollo 13 and other films. -

I can't understand how anyone could not like this show....
by cisco dyke
Unless they don't like action/thriller stuff in general. KS is a GREAT actor. I can't think of a film/show where he's mailed it in. His commitment is what makes the show at all believable for me. He ruled in Freeway.
