Todd Phillips's THE HANGOVER Gets A Knockout Of A Teaser Trailer!

I don't know how much I'm allowed to say about Todd Phillips's THE HANGOVER right now, but since they've spoiled the film's best cameo in the brand new teaser trailer, I guess I can say that I got to meet that particular gentleman on set and... I should probably stop there. He was really nice, though.
I also got to chat with the film's three stars - Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis - and feel fairly convinced that they'll be every bit as memorable an ensemble as the OLD SCHOOL trio. We already know that the film has tested well. I guess we'll just have to wait until June 5th to find out if Phillips has conquered the Vegas comedy curse. (BTW, I don't know if there is a Vegas comedy curse; I just know that I watched WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS on PPV one depressingly lonely night, and haven't gone east of Primm ever since.)

but the trailer couldve been funnier. it most likely is r rated so the red band will be where its at.

He was in that What Happens in Vegas. He's pretty funny this looks good. Really like Bradley Cooper too he was good in Midnight Meat Train. One of the few good horror movies to come out in a while.

is one of the best comics working today. it's too bad all of the parts he gets offered are in terrible movies (like what happens in vegas). when given a good script like into the wild, which is his only film credit that isn't an complete piece of shit, he really shines. i really hope this script does him justice. high hopes for this one.

Apart from that, it wasn't too funny. It doesn't look like it will suck, but it doesn't look too laugh-out-loud either. I wonder if the baby hitting something is a running gag and in one scene it gets punched by Mike Tyson.

They should have Tyson's victim in the film to bring on more chuckles. Saw the trailer before WM and it started interesting then got into the typical American dunderhead zone of "Oh, he got hit in the head!" "Oh, somebody punched out!" Rapists and beatdowns - modern US comedy gold!
