Still more Red Band greatness hurled at you courtesy of I LOVE YOU, MAN!!!
Hey folks. Capone in Chicago here.
It's no secret I fucking love I LOVE YOU, MAN. We got a big-ass screening of it set up for next week here in Chicago, and I'll be strategically positioned in the back of the house just waiting for the waves of laughter from the unsuspecting crowd.
The filmmakers have been particularly generous with the red band trailers/clips from this film, and the newest addition to the red band family is a fantastic scene featuring the great John Favreau, who absolutely kills in this movie. And if you don't blink, you might also spot a quick appearance from Broken Lizard's Jay Chandrasekhar. And while you're watching this clip, think to yourself just how awesome it would look if it had been in 3-D. I'd pay money to see that. Enjoy!

That's one of the best puke gagas I've ever seen. ANd who hasn't seen that sudden projectile vomit that follows rapid binge drinking sometimes. That mid conversation BLEECCH!!!! Clearing the table is impressive though. Favreau's reaction was awesome. This movie is gonna kick ass. I still gon't get why Rogen is more popular than Rudd and Seagal. Rogen's funny as hell, but I think we geeks prefer to raise the ugliest of the group to the pinncale b/c they most resemble us. But I mean, Seagl looks like a sad horse, so I think it's time we put him up on a pedestal, especially after Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which I thought dwarfed Rogen's comedies by a mile (except maybe Zak and Miri)
-
WTF is that retarded fucking busllshit...
-
You know puke is never really that funny. But that was so unexpected I had to laugh.
-
Maybe they don't want non US people to see the movie?
-
The movie's okay. Rudd and Segel are great together but a lot of the other stuff falls flat. In fact, with the exception of Favreau's jerky husband character I thought the first act of the film was quite boring. But that's just me.

ROFL

they want my fucking social security number, too?

i give them my info(which feels pointless considering the vast anonymity of the internet.) and then it tells me to do it again. SO i do it again. And then it asks me to do it again. Oh well ill just wait until youtube has it.

What do you do on a man date? - Just don't take him to see The Devil Wears Prada. - Oh I love that movie!
-
I loved that scene because it came as such a surprise. Plus, it's a lot funnier when you know the "relationship" between Favreau and Rudd. Why don't more movies do what Stepbrothers did. They showed deleted scenes (It's a fucking Catalina Wine Mixer) that didn't detract from the movie once you saw them. But they still got you excited for the flick. Perhaps too much so in that particular case.
-
...and, sweet Hay-Zeus, I laughed out loud in a sudden, very embarrassing manner.
Bastards just sold me.

...I put 90210 into the zip code box. Anyway, looks alot funnier than the general audience trailer let on.

Cause that was when she was on her period? Dude Rashida Jones is hot, and I would totally go down on her, but I ain't sucking bloody pussy juice on nobody! Hey, I just talked like a "young person" from Superbad and Adventureland, call me funny and laugh at my audacity! YAAYYYY!
-
That flick looked good, it had the right amount of honesty, mixed with crudity, with all sorts of funny."Return the favor" great line!
-
I always use celebrities for these logins. I used Brad Pitt, Dec 18 1963, 90210. Works fine.

I think the difference between this and Adventureland
by mel gibsteinberg
Is that those who find the above funny, most likely have jobs, a steady girlfriend or wife, friends, and consider a fun night out to be hitting up a nice restaurant, enjoying a steak with a nice wine, and then perhaps some form of entertainment (movie, club, theater) perhaps not. Those running to profess their love for Adventureland are most likely still single, living in squalor, addicted to porn, limited job situation (i.e. Starbucks, Movie Theater, Target) and consider a fun night out heading over to their friend Stew's place to drink beer (or toke it up) watch Heavy Metal, and play some WOW or even old school tabletop D&D with their buddies. In other words, one group is all growns up, while the other continues to live as a man child. Not nocking the latter, hey we have all been there, but there does reach a time where we grow up a little, and start experiencing other parts of life, outside of a fantasy role playing situation.
