Ol' Woody has gathered the unlikely duo of Anthony Hopkins and Josh Brolin for his next flick!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Woody Allen's been on quite the run and doesn't seem to be slowing down at all. He's already got another film in the can and is starting prep on his next, another London-based flick financed by MediaPro, the same company that produced VICKY CHRISTINA BARCELONA. They're keeping the title and plot secret for now, but we do know he's cast Anthony Hopkins and Josh Brolin. Brolin isn't really out of left field. He's really popular right now and he's worked with Allen before (in the decent, but not terribly memorable MELINDA AND MELINDA), but it's the idea of Hopkins in a Woody Allen movie that has me insanely curious. I'd assume it's more VICKY CHRISTINA and MATCH POINT and less SCOOP... meaning more serious stuff and less on the absurd comedy, but I'd actually love to see Hopkins in an absurd Woody Allen movie. Wouldn't you?
