‘You Think You’re Invincible But You’re Not!!’ HEROES 3.15!!

I am – Hercules!!
There was a big drop-off in quality after last fall’s shaky third-season premiere, and I won’t be surprised if tonight’s installment sucks. (For the record, my plan is to watch the superior “24” first.) NBC says of 3.15, titled “Trust And Blood”:
Following a chain of unexpected events, our Heroes are on the run from their latest adversary and one of their own, Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar). After Matt (Greg Grunberg) paints a series of prophetic images, the tragic fate of someone close to him is revealed. Elsewhere, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) continues his search for his father and encounters a young outcast (guest star Dan Byrd) with information and an ability of his own. Jack Coleman, Ali Larter, James Kyson Lee, Masi Oka, Hayden Panettiere, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Cristine Rose and Milo Ventimiglia also star. Ashley Crow and Ntare Mwine also guest star.
Bryan Fuller returns with episodes 3.19-3.25. For those querying, my thoughts on last week’s installment: It was perfectly watchable. (I thought the same of the 3rd season opener -- the one with dead Kaito yelling at Hiro via video.) I liked that it jumped two months ahead. The AndoCycle and The Lair and Ando picking up strippers was wonderful. I like that Hiro is no longer all-powerful. Sylar's visit with his “dad” was good. I liked that Claire was in New York and not trying out for some new cheerleading squad. I like that Peter is now more Ultra-Boy than Idiot-God. The outfits the detainees wore were suitably creepy. Claire kicking her driver unconscious and taking over the plane was pretty badass. What didn’t fry my burger? Matt's lust for normality is a bore; I got my fill of that back when with Claire. Claire heard the Petrellis say they were going to kidnap Peter -- but when Claire phoned Peter she didn't mention this! What the heck! I hated the "funny" chance encounter between Peter and Mohinder. (Kring, Fuller & Co. should maybe think about explaining away these endless coincidental meetings -- a special mutant pheremone would get that job done.) The reveal that Noah was working for the government was not entirely unpredictable. Usutu suddenly quit being funny last week, and Matt permanently getting the Isaac power feels really random. (Powers change too conveniently on Heroes post-season one, I say.) The Peter-Nathan conversations were a lot of blah-blah-blah; Nathan’s motivations seem as random as Matt’s powers. It might have been cooler if Sylar started slicing his would-be kidnapper vertically for a change. It bugged me that Ando didn't think "Charlie" might be Hiro's computer password. The thing that continues to bug me most is Noah has inexplicably devolved (post season-one) into a blundering moron. He's supposedly been subduing superpowered mutants for decades, but he doesn't think to maybe not seat power-absorbing Peter next to the other superheroes on the plane? I would have maybe made the gesture of segregating Peter in his own special vault or supercoffin or footlocker. (One that Tracy's powers still could ultimately breach, of course.) 9 p.m. Monday. NBC.
