and had professional costume designers make their outfits. I like the humor, but the look is something along the lines of made for TV or DTV. I've seen what you could call set pieces from this film. Nothing really looks cruedly made or real. Then again it's a comedy not Apoco or Caveman, so I should stop nith bitching already...

I think I am going to need to see it in slow motion with a clear picture. The only thing I really made out was a robot looking like a lion or something. Everything else was just a blur. I'm sure it will be pretty decent though. Just hope the action is slowed down a bit this time around so you can tell who is who.

    JUNO Was FUCKING TERRIBLE

    by laserpants

Using the "indie" aesthetic to push a conservative xtian message? Fuck you. Also, NOBODY talks like that in real life. She didn't come off as charming or witty, more shrill, obnoxious, and irritating; and I say that as a guy who would love to ride Ellen Page's hot pixie ass until the end of time. Finally, the man-hate was at an all time in the flick. So the root of all evil is the aging gen-xer guy? Fuck you again. Juno was, at best, a bottom feeding hacked out Lifetime special for angst ridden teenage girls who simultaneously hate and are sexually obsessed with father figures. The pole dancer who wrote this thing must give incredible blow jobs, otherwise this film never would have been made, and certainly wouldn't have been nominated for anything other than the cut-out bin at Wal Mart.

    Monty Python, yes!

    by hyphenatedwords

I purposefully scanned this talkback for any reference to Monty Python, and the last one nailed it. Thanks Orbots Commander.

Reading some of these comments makes me wonder if people get this clip. The point to make is that it seems like a SUCCESSFUL American take on Monty Python's style of humor, which is saying a lot.

Judging by this clip, I admit loudly that I have no idea if they really pull it off. It could be a Life of Brian, or it could end up being a lesser Mel Brooks flick.
