Merrick here...

Most of what follows are images grabbed straight from the camera - accurately conveying the TALE's 'look'.

Here's a sequence between Melissa Ordway and Lee Horsley (reprising his role from SWORD). Readers who participated in the recent live feed from the film's set saw this scene being filmed in real time - this image represents how the camera saw what we saw. Interesting contrast, no?

Here's our first look at Jennifer Siebel as Queen Ma'at.

Here's a few shots of Whitney Able as Xia.

Two shots of Melissa Ordway as Tanis. The bottom photo is a publicity photo as opposed to a camera grab.

I don't understand the coverage this is getting.
-
These shots are bringing back bad memories...
-
But I would not kick it out of bed. She's cute as hell.
-
or it's predecessor. But that Melissa Ordway is HOT.
-
why are you covering this T&A nonsense when SOLOMON KANE is out there needing some buzz. I'm sure director Michael J. Bassett would pick up the phone if you called. Stop it already.
-
Did Pyun pick up the Len Wiseman Directing For Dummies Book?
-
T&A is the bedrock upon which all geekdom is built good sir (from Hammer Horror's to Boris Vallejo artwork to Seven of Nine, tits and ass go hand in hand with geekdom) - do not knock it! Yeah and Melissa Ordway, whoever she is, does look hot!
-
...and that impossibly dumbass sword with three blades...get this...2 of which shot off (using a spring? dust? magic? rubberband? cheese avoidance?). Hotties and boobs galore tho so it's not a total loss.
-
And the funny thing is that it was always "loaded" with three blades. Talon would shoot a couple of baddies, then a scene or two later it had 3 blades again.Would have loved to see a scene where he was rummaging through some schrubs.."Now I swear I saw that fly in this direction..."
-
Yah! Kevin is the man! He's like a magnet for blockbuster movies that light Hollywood on fire! He should be the next Batman villain! He's that good! Hell, why not do a Wizard of Oz remake and he can be the Scarecrow? Michael Ironside can be the Tin Man and Steven Seagal can be the Cowardly Lion - with Tom Cruise as Dorothy of course.
-
Horsley looks great. The women still look like Californian cosplay porno chicks, though.
-
They played this flick on a loop on HBO during my childhood,..I do remember a pretty wicked crucfixtion thing that was in an "X" shape and then fling open to split its victim,.....wasnt that in a JW Tarzan too,...anyway seems like an impossible project to get off the ground ,.I cant believe its up and filming..I say Cool for sure
-
The presence of Sorbo and Christopher Lambert garuantee this project is going to suck. Its like casting Cynthia Rohrock as your lead, your anouncing to the world that this movie is a POS and only to be viewed late nights on Cinemax when your stoned and have nothing else to do.
-
Booya. Finally. TALON TALON TALON!
-
...last TB. Still hope this is big, gorey, nipply fun though.
-
I have seen costume parties that look better than this, and I was in 2nd grade at the time!!!
-
... I'd willingly let Melissa Ordway suck me any day!
-
The finest of all 3 bladed 1980's magic swords!
-
to see this on SCIFI channel.
-
. . . if I'm watchin' Cinemax late at night, I DEFINITELY have something to do.
-
Yes! The Horsley's back. Love it when old guys come back to kick ass. Indy, Rambo, Rocky, Eastwood. I hope he has more than a cameo.
-
Kevin Sorbo. I may laugh at him but he's still richer than me.*Sigh*
-
why the press? because this is more intersting than more "squid" talk about Watchmen or how TDK was the "Best"
picture of 08..... -
Don't you remember the AICN coverage for Jackson's Kong?
-
Looks like they are using a digital camera like the Red One.
-
...saw that even Ralph Möller and Olivier Gruner are in this! Talk about an all star c-movie cast!
-
Lee Horsley is back as Talon! Too cool. Damn he looks old though, but that's cool that you got a continuation and its not a reimagining.
They finally delivered on the sequel they touted before the credits, even if it's bad. At least they made it. -
How are they gonna top slicing a face in half with a sword though?
-
Is that something she's wearing or is it in the background, but then is her head floating? Can't be what she's wearing, it looks like she has a hump on her back. WTF is going on there?
-
They are all over the place here???!!!
-
and the Barbarian Bros.
-
Talk about a straight-to-SciFi-Channel movie. A sequel to a instantly forgettable film with a D-grade cast of actors. I say this with all sincerity: WTF AICN?
-
are you reading this TB if you're not even interested? Those of you who don't want to read updates, dont click on the link. I happen to be looking forward to this.
It's not like we are running out of Internet. You stick to your Lost TB, I'll be over here anticipating some B grade fun. -
Stop bitching about this! Educate yourself and watch the original. Would suck to be a geek starting out today, most of the cool shit has already happened.
I want to know why it took so long to make and where the hell is the three-bladed sword? -
...tell me his part isn't a one-scene cameo or some-such ripoff like that. And hey, whatever happened to Anna Bjorn?
-
I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully we'll get some TNA to go along with the violence
-
when they resurrected the Richard Moll character and he caused the heart of that witch to burst out of her chest. I was 12. It was awesome.
-
Well holy shit.
SWORD was awesome when I was 8 years old. When I saw it 20 years later, not so much. Still, I welcome thought-to-be-dead sequels to nearly-forgotten movies. Beats the hell out of remakes, and let's face it, there is a LOT of room for improvement. ESPECIALLY if they go for a hard R rather than the lukewarm PG-13 we tend to see in modern-day action films. -
Right on, Yelnick McWaWa. Everything from the sublime (RE-ANIMATOR)to sleazy (SINFUL DWARF). Today's B-pix are generic clones sans the AIP or Hammer panache.
In regard to this sequel, one question: is the hero matched with a cool sidekick? (preferably a chimp).
Did someone charitably throw Lorenzo Lamas a role? Total dickhead; makes Tony Danza look like a Tony winner. -
