NBC’s KINGS To Air Sundays!! New John Wells Police Drama Will Inherit ER Timeslot!!

“Kings,” the alternative-universe Ian McShane drama from writer-producer Michael Green (“Smallville,” “Jack & Bobby,” “Everwood,” “Heroes”), will air Sundays at 8 p.m. this spring opposite Fox's "The Simpsons" and ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
“Kings” was long set to take over the Thursday “ER” timeslot after the medical drama exits for good this spring. Instead, NBC has extended “ER’s” final season by three episodes and “ER” will be now succeeded on Thursdays at 10 p.m. by six episodes of “Southland” (formerly “Police”), a new cop drama from “ER” producer John Wells.
Come fall the daily “Jay Leno Show” will inherit NBC's 10 p.m. timeslots on all weekdays.

can eat crap. that would be funnier than anything he's done in years. he's managed to take one of the funniest most beloved clowns in the histroy of the stern show and relegated him to a coffee cup waving bufoon. can't wait for kings, don't know much about it but it looks pretty interesting.

Kings deserves a prime time 9pm slot. I saw the 2hr pilot a while ago and it blew me away. Why is it that NBC sends off all its good shows to die?
