Harry Knowles is in PUSH!

Hey folks, Harry here... Ok... so it isn't exactly true... I'm not in PUSH the movie, but PUSH the comic promotional tie-in and the folks associated felt it was only right that we premiere the first image of Harry Knowles in this DC Movie Tie-In! This will appear in issue #5 and apparently it isn't really me, but a disguise that a shape shifter takes to be... you know... inconspicuous. Cuz I know I never draw attention anywhere I go. They did ask permission and I gave them no guidelines... but from the below image, which you can click to have in ENORMOUS ACTUAL HARRY SIZE - you'll notice I'm wearing that hat from THE VILLAGE PEOPLE. I would like to note... I do not own a Gay Biker Hat. I also have no extra chromey chains. I'm sure the shapeshifter will regret being stuck in the Harry form and will get his ass handed to him, unless the key is some sort of movie knowledge quiz. I'm not entirely sure when this issue hits stands, the @$$HOLE$ probably know, I just know that PUSH hits on February 6th... Here's HARRY...

Nice to temper your words there. But that's not why I'm replying. "No one under 20 or over 32 that doesn't care about comics and geek film"??? OK, I know my own age, and am still trying to figure it out: DO I FIT INTO THIS #%$#@ING CATEGORY OR NOT? (Care to narrow down precisely what demographic you're talking about?)

    by Cobbio

That's very cool, Harry! Your comics debut, via film, and you're rendered in the form The Village People's bass player. Or maybe an extra in "8MM" or "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome."<p> Either way, right on man!<p> I wish a graphic artist would render me as half-alien mutant. That'd be fun.

  • Jan. 6, 2009, 8:17 a.m. CST

I'm not even convinced that's an insult entirely, but of course I mean no disrespect, I have mad bro-love for Harry. It's just what I thought of. It looks like he has a scent for Beef 'N Cheese Nachos.

Do they mention him to be Harry by name?

    by ricarleite

Or as Harry found, again, someone that looks like him and thought it was a reference to his big, fat ego? It happened before with the comic book guy, a character that appeared on the Simpsons before AICN existed, and yet, Harry created a post to say it is based only on him.
