Bale and a T-800! Fuck the haters T4 actually looks great

Seeing that pic of Where The Wild Things Are sent a shiver up my spine. I think I remember my mum reading it to me when I was a kid.
-
I am hoping 2009 is a good movie year.
-
Skin the Hero, Save the World
-
McG's Terminator is like tecno Disco crazy... lol.
-
Mann is the MAN! Happy New Year everybody!
-
Any chance we can get an obituary? The man's Richard Stark books kicked much ass, and he did make some contributions in film. He adapted The Grifters and one of his novels was the basis for the badass Point Blank. RIP, Mr. Westlake.
-
I just hope there are more terminators in T4 than there were dragons in Reign of Fire.
-
Those photos look like rushed photoshopped promps rather than "in Movie" atmospheric shots.
Still I suppose it could still be good. -
I HOPE HE CHOKE AND DIE ALONG WITH THE STUDIO!!! BOYCOTT, i will not see any movie made by fox in 2009...
-
Caveman starring Ringo Starr, Dennis Quaid, Shelley Long, Barbara Bach, and John Matusak.

Translation: "We knew the marketing budget for this project would be shit so we thought we'd add some plot points that would insure free publicity from the religious right and the Vatican".
-
that looks like a publicity still, i doubt its an actual shot from the movie.
-
Asked if he expects the film's religious satire to offend, Ramis laughs: ''I hope so!''
-
That's Leno without all his makeup! EGADS!
-
We have the Rat Pack, the Brat Pack, and the Frat Pack. What is the name of the Apatow group?
-
Really, look at it. It looks like that neon/dayglow Gotham City from Joel's pieces of shit. Nipples on the T-800!
-
for obvious reasons
-
Except Rudd.
-
It's a new year, my little bastards! Grow up. Man up. Cowboy up. Stop being such bloody pessimists and allow a sliver of optimism to infect your little bastard souls. Become mine.Happy New Year, haters of the world!

"Here I go to go get another beer...hey, waitaminute! Those guys put a Terminator where the fridge should be! Oh, what a wacky joke!" "April Fool's, Connor!" "Hah-ha-ha-ha! Oh, shit! It's KILLING EVERYONE! HELP!!!!"

I have a friend who attends the USC film school. She said that a month ago, a Warners executive came to speak to her class and a question was asked about the Potter delay. The exec. said that as an "apology" to fans, they went back and filmed the funeral scene
-
I guess it did make it into the movie.
-
Character in the foreground, with another talking at her back so that they are both facing the screen. JC is telling the Terminator that he is breaking up with it.
-
Looks like it.
-
you guys should be paying attention to Public Enemies. Depp looks fucking badass as Dillinger. The only weak link I suspect will be Christian Fail.
-
What. The. Fuck.
-
I'm definitely sold on Depp as Dillinger. I hope Bale's wooden acting doesn't hold back the film though.
-
you fuckers should be jizzing your pants over those stills. They look great, and it's Spike Jonze!!! Let's hope the studio isn't holding him back like the rumors suggested.

I must be dyslexic or something, because nowhere in your post did I read the words "Fucking" or "Eyeballs". Avatar FTW!
-
And yet here you are still posting stories about their films...Who exactly is eating dicks here?
-
Thise Terminator pics are shocking...and not in a good way.
-
sick of seeing that guy's mug playing every villain nowadays. FUCK OFF!!!! you're not mr. blue. denzel i accept ala inside man but FUCK OFF mr. wig.
-
in July? Weird, they should release it in the fall. Your average brat teenager isn't going to go see a Michael Mann film when shit like Land of the Lost and T4 is playing.
-
was the last good film Travolta has been associated with.
-
why don't they film a Slayer concert in 3d.. that i would watch!!

When it completely pwns AVATAR at the box office. Also, when it repairs the damage done by the ridiculously awful T2: WE WUB WOO ROBODADDY. Suddenly, everyone will be forced to finally admit that Cameron made two good movies -- Terminator and Aliens -- and everything else he's made has been mediocre-to-awful. Search your weird teutonic robot father complex, you know it to be true.
-
100% guarantee it will be better than AVATAR!
-
Just read of this in a story by Rob Worley on (what's left of) Comics2film (*sniff*). Tacky... don't they know, this book is like Shakespeare to us? Spencer's is the place for the life-size Rorschach cutouts. PS: don't ever buy anything from Spencer's; I give you the Great Pacific Garbage Vortex, an area of ocean at least twice the size of Texas where there's more plastic than plankton (just ask the jellyfish who eat it): http://tinyurl.com/95tkls

...excited about reading the talk backs for these films than seeing the actual movie. Wild Things R looks like it has potential. Was pleasantly surprised cause I had already written than one off...

Just warning. I spoiled it for me. I don't know if knowing who Harry hooks up with and who died will ruin my experience but I prefer not to know.

yeah whats up with those massive Potter spoilers?
by dannyglovers_dickblood
Not every person on the planet has read these fucking books. Some just like to enjoy the movies. Fuck me. Dumb cunts.
-
Especially if that caveman has the usually polite "George Michael" tics. With that one shot, "Year One" went from no interest to a "must see."
-
Why is it so damn hard to conceive of the notion that MILLIONS of people go see the films without reading the books first? FUCK! No point in seeing the rest of them now I guess. The whole problem with the 1st film and to a lesser extent the 2nd are that they're so beholden to the books they DON'T WORK as FILMS. Thanks God they learned their lesson with the 3rd flick. No more narrative dead-ends and redundant scenes. And the very worst thing about the first couple being ostensibly ads for the books (which is redundant in itself) is that when you're that slavish, the only difference between the book and the film is that with the film you don't even have to USE your fucking imagination.
The last couple of flicks were pretty much just marking time though. The funny thing is, I was 'saving' the books 'til after the films finished. Oh well. I doubt that they'll end the way I think they should with Ron dying as an ultimate act of bravery/sacrifice - obviously I subscribe to Harrison Ford's theory that for Han to have had a full character arc he had to die. Same with Ron. I bet we don't get put out of our misery with Snape either in the next one...
Back on topic, I hope Warners bars E.W. from any HP story or picture from here on to teach 'em a bloody lesson. I thought I was doing well and that a "first look" photo caption would be safe... -

I'll only be intersted if Cera actually plays George Michael...
by dannyglovers_dickblood
...in a biopic. It could be epic.
-
In the time it took me to spew that out you said it more succinctly than I ever could.
I did send E.W. an email of wall-to-wall profanities though. That made me feel even better than venting here. I forgot to call 'em cunts though...
Grunty, I thought Michael Cera was actually Jennifer Saunders there at first glance! I wish that boy would grow some eyebrows! -
letters@ew.com Give them a piece of your mind. And put a ton of FUCKS and CUNTS in there.

They looked like better textured versions of the TV show originals. I wonder if they scrapped the film created costumes or CGI enhanced them to make them look more intimidating and real? The info about the film says using realistic looking dinosaurs to add to the drama and comedic moments. Too bad that Year One set dressing image looks so hollywoodish. I was hoping this film would be this generations CAVEMAN. God that's a great film! Wish Ringo would do more movies today. He's a good

Sorry dude, I have no sympathy for anyone who didn't read the books.

....you're a fucking idiot.
-
If it's gonna pwn Avatar it better have the biggest opening in film history. This is because Avatar will have something T4 won't....repeat viewers.
-
John Travolta's son Jett just died. That's very sad. As a father I can sympathize, though I don't understand as I've never been through this. My prayers go out to the family at this difficult time.
-
Dude, you're not actually the most intelligent guy either are you ?
Now go polish up that shiny cock-ring, with J.C.'s engraved initials, and screw another hole in your Ahnuld carboard standee, and please leave any comments about any Cameron related films to yourself you silly boy. -
...does this stand for James Cameron, or Jesus Christ, or J.C. Chasez of N'Sync fame? I must know.
-
...giving a shit about Harry Potter in the first place is bad enough. A grown man crying about Harry Potter spoilers? That's just pure comedy.
-
And I hope to hell they're doing what I think they're doing. From what I've seen it looks like they're doing the T-600's just like Kyle Resse described them. Creepy rubber skinned Animatronic monsters that people can tell aren't really human because of the uncanny valley. This would be so close to real life because the Japanese keep trying to make these same kind of Androids and every time people see them they're creeped the fuck out. They make my skin crawl. See for yourselves http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcMqdIWNyWo.

Well take your pick Danny, the name you're looking for can be found among these. All I'm saying is that the initials on Motoko's much beloved and treasured item do not stand for the crucified chap or lovely Jenn Connelly. I made a promise to my son earlier today to watch the Rocketeer with him this weekend, which he hasn't seen yet, ha. Is it ...? Twat pack?

" Slayer in 3D ", it should be ! Fuck it, why can't we be more like the '80s, sometimes ? ( Even if it, for the most part, SUCKS ?) This decade feels like the dingy, lameoid, rancid, no-fun B-side of that erstwhile gangbusters time. If it weren't just for the more superior films and the SEVERAL LIGHT YEARS BETTER television...
-
In the least. Don't wanna go on dignifying INDY 4 and the capitulation of horror and violent action, or anything ( and most of the Star Wars Prequels ). So, not exactly ' more superior ' to the decade in the sense, and across the board - I think the adjective is far too superlative, and that the technical standards and general edge of that era must be made paramount more often - but in the least, within the stable of New Hollywood, and the '80s cinema into possibly going beyond. Even though some are sterling improvements already as they are( Casino Royale, The Dark Knight, There Will Be Blood, No Country For Old Men ). So I'm clear.
-
I say again, I hope it bombs and you idiots championing it without seeing a seconds worth of footage apologise for trolling. Doesn't apply to the people who aren't trolling cretins and who contain their giddy.
-
I knew there was at least one Talkbacker thinking that I spent hours to come up with that JC list.
That was a 5 second job, these intial name lists can easily be Googled up, I haven't even heard of a lot of those ! (Jackie Chan, James Caan , Jim Carrey, Johhny Cash, James Coburn, John Cassavettes, James Cameron, Joan Collins etc). -
...have had something. FUCK 2D MOVIES!!! Fuck 'em back to the first dimension!!!
-
Ah the scent of James Cameron's finger in our faces!!!!!
-
Seriously, check out the chin.
-
It's a photoshop edit of a scene that is probably so horrible in the final movie that they couldn't savage one exciting shot from it. Damn you McG !
