New Year!!
-
wasn't expecting it until the Summer. I love that show.
-
So it only had a 13 episode pick up? Is the Vinnie Van Lowe gay demon returning?
-
Anybody watching Leverage on TNT? It's only been running for a month or so, and right from the pilot it quickly became my favorite new show of the season. I can see the premise wearing a little thin after a while, but 5 episodes in I'm still liking what I'm seeing.
-
the other day USA ran a BN season 2 marathon and they were heavily promoting the upcoming season or half season or however it works with shows like that and Monk and Pysch,P>I was actually hoping all 3 of those shows would come back on the same week and/or night as they are my most "fun" shows. I love me LOST and BSG, but for pure mindless entertainment "candy" i love those 3 shows
-
Does anyone know what happened to Eureka? It just stopped mid-season, and I haven't heard anything about it since. It's not listed here either! I thought it was scifis most popular show.
-
Great to see it back.
-
That premiered in January, so I would expect it would be soon. I saw him with a bald head at some awards show, so they had to have been shooting. As far as Eureka goes, doesn't that usually start back up later spring/early summer? But it's Skiffy, so who knows? It may be back in 2010.

Oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR! Make it a good one.
-
Also what the fuck is Relicquest
-
Probably another crap reality show from the channel calling itself sci-fi.
-
I thought this was supposed to start early 2009. Has it already been on? Or has NBC realised that attempting to announce schedules a year or more in advance was a really stupid idea?
-
My nervous system just imploded.
-
Way to take an easy bet, monkey.
-
Lost is going to go on spectacularly, 24 is going to peter out and BSG is seeking a big finish; but only for geekwise. And all still might better ratings than Dollhouse. But suck & die? You're reaching. T:TSCC and Dollhouse are going to finish their seasons this year.
-
with Dr. Horrible. Cover of Time Magazine. AFI listing. Amazon #3 best seller yesterday.
Dollhouse is going the 13.
-
LEAVE IT TO AICN TO SCREW UP EVEN THIS LIST ...

WHERE'S BONES?
WHERE'S NCIS?
-
Looks like will be back mid-2009 when the regular network shows season ends. "Given the calendar, we only had time to produce eight episodes in order to air in our usual July time slot. Thus, the decision to make 21 instead of 13, and break them into two blocks of eight and thirteen. We don’t yet know our airdate for the second half, but look for it sometime in early to mid ‘09. Sorry we can’t be more specific" http://tinyurl.com/5w6ghc

Terminator is returning to Friday nights... this is why their fucking shows don't succeed! FUCK FOX!

Like he wasn't paying out mucho dinero to avoid a good assraping.

JackNF, Leverage rocks. Klingon IT guy and orange soda opener.
by EvilWizardGlick
Leverage is damn fine. It is like a silly Mission Impossible. The Horse killing a Clown thing still has me in stitches.
-
How cool was that rolling out the electric sports car.
-
. . . that Breaking Bad, The Office, 30 Rock, and True Blood will eventually be coming back this year.
-
True Blood comes back in the summah!! Can't wait either!
-
PUT INTO PLACE NEWER TALKBACK TOOLS FOR MESSAGES... YOUR MSG SYSTEM IS OLDER THAN DIAL UP... TIME TO PONY UP SOME MONEY... HAVE AMAZON PAY FOR IT, FOR FUCKS SAKE!
-
w00t. a reason to turn the regular channels back on. of course there is nothing from the end of pushing daisies until march 17th to get me watching regular channels..
-
Where's that ABC show with Nathan Fillion?

XIII is based on the graphic novel which the game was based on
by Stormwatcher
Its a good story, good twist, hopefully Kilmer can pull it off as he can deliver when he wants to, case in point hte Salton Sea which actually looks glorious upconverted on a blue ray surprising considering the DVD is bare bones and like 6 years old. Best thing the director of Disturbia/TakingLives/Eagle Eye has ever done.
-
Oh, one is XIII (which half of America doesn't know how to read anyway) and the other is 13: Fear is Real (?).
-
Geez, another Hollywood attempt to establish this wasteful/intrusive government program as a permanent fixture of our lives. Instead of watching this tripe, people should be asking why the already bloated gov't agencies (such as the CIA, FBI, NSA, National Guard, Coast Guard, NORAD, border patrol) can't do their jobs, that we need homeland security.
-
...starts up again on Monday on the Travel Channel, one of the best of "those kinds of shows" on the air.
-
I with oisin5199, where's that at?
-
I believe this one airs Jan 5th......(guess it missed Herc's list)
-
Shit, I miss The Wire.
-
I really like Leverage too, but I also agree that the show doesn't look like it will hold up for the long haul. I am disapointed in some of the character development from the pilot to the regular series. The Parker character was far more interesting in the pilot than she is now. She was more of a loose cannon and now she is there for a few comic relief scenes. Christian Kane's character is starting to be only a plot device for some action. Even his centric episode was more about Timothy Hutton than him. I guess that is the drawback of a ensemble cast action drama with a heist of the week premise. Only so much screen time for each character.
-
I just don't think Whedon's heart is in the concept as much as he just wants to work with Eliza Dushku again and trying to figure out a vehicle to build around her. I think to have a kick ass sci-fi series, you gotta build the concept and then cast around the concept.
-
And that ain't enough to overcome the really, really bad cast (Lennix and Penikett notwithstanding) without a name amongst them. Dushku is a terrible, one-note actress, a show-killer and she's also not the dewy thing she used to be. I give it 6 episodes.
-
I don't think I blinked durring the first two or three episodes.
To bad they couldn't maintain that quality.
-
I thought that was coming on in January.
-
January 16th. Apparently their are other shows on TV as well.
-
Shit... I never wanted to do this...
-
Whew...
-
...everything else is filler material.
Well, BSG is good too. The Big Bang Theory rocks as well.
Can't wait for these!
-
I thought they said it was coming back end of January.
-
Though, this site doesn't care about many shows that people actually watch.
Hence all the Pushing Daisies posts and shit like that that gets cancelled.
-
whn are they gonna air the final three eps?
-
Is there any word on this show? I was absolutely loving it, so funny and campy.
-
Where's my Life on Mars?
-
did it get dropped?
-
when is greek coming back? i heard sometime in march? i also want to watch the middleman!!!
-
I don't understand how people can hear the word homeland and not immediately conjure up images of the fatherland and the motherland and all that other fascist / communist bullshit. Fuck ABC for ever promoting that stupid show. And fuck this country for sitting back and letting it happen here.
-
Just to throw two out there that I'd give a shit about.

My plate runneth over:
Scrubs
Psych
Smallville
BSG
Fringe (for now...)
Lost
Closer
Office
Chuck
XIII (new to my list)
Terminator
South Park
Reaper
-
Rather, added. Middleman and Heroes were dumped from it, unceremoniously. Fringe is on the way off. 30 Rock never left my list.
-
and Ten Items Or Less is the next best basic cable comedy next to Its Always Sunny, so at least I know where I'll be Tuesday nights for the next couple of months.
-
where's Breaking Bad and Rescue Me???
-
It's no longer listed on the ABC Family website.
-
and I think Rescue Me is closer to Summer. Golly, I hope Leary and Tolan put together a coherent new season. I suspect Reaper is going to be an enjoy-it-while-it-lasts kind of thing like Pushing Daisies was this season.
-
that like stuff like Extreme Makeover. In these times, everyone's a "hero" just for doing your job. The term has been completely sapped of any meaning.
-
..if you look in the right place. And that's all I'm sayin' on the matter.
-
Other than on this site, is anyone talking about it? It seems to be so far below the mainstream radar that to find it you'd need sonar.
-
You missed Ghost Hunters International, starting on January 7.
-
starts this Tuesday , not the 19th
-
In the year ending listing craze, Dollhouse has made the it into the top 10 Most Anticipated 2009 by Entertainmet weekly (#1 spot), E!Online (#10 spot) and Hitfix (#1 spot) that I can recall.

When LOST is fucking your mind in 2009, no other shows matter
by turketron
But it will be good to have BSG, 24, Supernatural, and a few other shows to keep your mind busy so that you aren't foaming at the mouth for the next episode of Lost.
-
David Spade raped it behind the dumpster at a 7-11.
-
Because NO ONE should give a shit about THE REAL WORLD.
-
The only three shows that really matter. Oh, and fuck the skull of anyone who watches Survivor or Bachelor. FUCK THAT TRASH.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Where's My Name is Earl? I didn't pay attention to it the first time because I just went down the list to see what was coming back. I just looked again and noticed it wasn't there, but The Office was listed as Feb. 2. I saw promos on NBC that they are both airing new episodes tonight!
-
Anyone know? The episode is called "The Duel", it's only a half hour and it's about Andy finding out through Michael about Dwight and Angela. Then Andy and Dwight have a duel.
-
I know it's been a few days, but I'm just getting a chance to reply. It seems that the NBC promos were misleading. My Name is Earl did come back last Thursday, but the Office didn't. The Office was the only show that didn't have a new episode. Jor-El23, maybe the Comcast TV Guide was confused, too :).
