I hate 99% of tv and don't have cable (bills y'all!) but I really want this, Curb, and Superjail! so badly. I've managed on just having over-the-air for Conan, the Simpsons and Family Guy, and supplementing it with my DVD collections of The British Office, Extras, Flight of the Concords, MST3K, Sealab 2021, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny and 30 Rock. Then I also use Hulu to catch up on somethings (and the Three Stooges). Seriously though, this makes me want to have HBO because I am impatient when it comes to my vices....

No idea. I'm 28 and I love Flight of the Conchords. Of course, I'm also an amateur musician and an indie rock/folk fan, so the show really appeals to me. As fars as age, Bret is 32 and Jemaine is 34... so, if you feel to old to like this at 29... I'm not sure what's up.

...This episode was a little heavy on exposition, but that's okay, because it managed to resolve the cliffhanger of last season AND bring it all back to the status-quo without feeling too much like a cheat......Just hope the songs in future episodes are better integrated into the show while also not being as plot-specific. I know that sounds oxymoronic, but last season, FOTC was able to fit their pre-existing catalog organically into the story, yet the songs play just as well outside of the show. Not sure the toothpaste song is going to be as funny on an album without the aid of visuals or backstory.But hey, they had to essentially write a season's worth of new songs from scratch after using several years of vetted material last season. I'm just glad I have TV to get excited about again!

Watching this was like seeing a really good friend that you haven't seen in a long time. I don't have HBO (caught season 1 on DVD), but I may need to change that soon. If you have the chance to see them live, you must. There are a few songs written for this season that are the best they've done yet.
