FAST & FURIOUS, THE WOLFMAN, And NOTTINGHAM Change Release Dates!!

We don't usually address changes of release dates on AICN (not sure why, just usually doesn't happen). But , in this instance, multiple high-profile titles...all of which have been covered extensively here on the site...have shifted release dates & we thought you might wanna know.

Universal Pictures has pushed back the release of horror franchise hopeful "The Wolfman" from April 3 to Nov. 6 and taken Ridley Scott's "Nottingham" out of 2009 entirely. Also, U's "The Fast and the Furious 4" will now open on April 3, instead of June 12. "Nottingham," toplining Russell Crowe, will open in 2010, but U did not set a specific date.

...says THIS ARTICLE in Variety. Interesting that Variety refers to THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS 4 by that title; last I heard it was FAST AND FURIOUS (per the film's trailer HERE, and the movie's official website HERE). Wonder if it was just presumption/shorthand, or if there's been a change? The release date of Will Ferrell's LAND OF THE LOST remains uncganged (it's June 5).
