Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Oh, Black Dynamite... you are so badass... Twitch has a new clip from one of my most anticipated movies of 2009 and at the beginning of it, I felt a little excitement dwindle a bit. It seems sillier than I was hoping it would be, but damn it... Michael Jai White's pure charisma and delivery of the line I posted in the headline, got me back on board the "this movie will blow my socks off, my mind out and my balls to the four corners of the earth" train.

I hope it lives up to this clip and is just balls out exploitation and old martial arts cheesiness. That reminds me, I haven't seen "Rage of the Master" in quite some time. Flying out of the ocean at the end to deliver a death blow.....and he kills like 100 guys with 2 knives. TO THE VIDEO STORE!

... of what they can do when they have alove for movies of the past. Was just on the remake TB and it is just depressing. But if filmakers wouldactually revere their source material, most remakes wouldn't suck. I really hope this is as good as it looks.

I have no idea how this is going to play to a mainstream audience. I suppose it isn't going to play to a mainstream audience. It may suffer a fate similar to "Grindhouse," but I don't think this cost nearly as much. Anyway, I'm inviting the ghost of Rudy Ray Moore to join me in the theater for some bad mutha fun.

and the couple of things Black Dynamite is missing are the heavy lidded drug induced stupor of most of the actors, and the oily sheen on actors' skin in cheap 70's movies. Hopefully Black Dynamite will have a boom shot during a lot of the scenes.

The dialog is great, but the boomerang was a bad mistake in the trailer. There were other spoilers in the RED BAND, but to see that a character get killed in what appears to be the third act? What kind of Kung Fu trailer treachery is this?!?!?

Hahah...I didn't even realize that it was Michael Jai White, the first time I saw a trailer for this a few days ago...Wasn't even sure if it was actually an older film, until I saw Arsenio...Looks hilarious....can't wait!!

Wonderful clip and FINALLY, we get to see Michael Jai White kicking @$$ on the big screen again! It was great seeing him get his "So Serious" in The Dark Knight, but I'll never understand WHY this guy isn't getting more lead action roles.He's handsome, buff, a marital arts pro and has great screen presence! Why Marvel never fast-tracked him to play The Black Panther, I'll NEVER know... >:(

Katy tried-- that's why he's only halfway crucified. I suppose that means that she's not a very dilligent executioner, or carpenter. But when you're on the other side of no tomorrow with the shadow of the man who you once knew as just an ordinary guy, I suppose that means you've done all that you can do.
