'I Have Covered For All Of You!!' Check Out Who’s Plugging The Final 10 Episodes Of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!!
SPOILER ALERT !!

I am – Hercules!!
Cally’s back??
Nicki Clyne, who played Cally Henderson Tyrol on “Battlestar Galactica” for three and a half seaons, is plugging the final 10 episodes of Ron Moore’s sci-fi epic on Canada’s The Space Channel.
Which I’m guessing means she’s going to be in the final 10 episodes, even though evil Cylon Tory Foster airlocked Cally back in April.
Certainly it makes sense that Cally might have some role in flashbacks, helping to tell husband Galen Tyrol’s complicated Cylon backstory.
But might she return in some other capacity as well? Would she be out plugging this thing if they just brought her back for one flashback episode?
The appearance:
Episode 4.11, “Sometimes A Great Notion,” hits America’s SciFi Channel Jan. 16.

And Ron Moore, I believe in you. Make me proud. The Doc is the last cylon, I'm tellin' ya.
-
And i figured this out by just watching the first 1 1/2 seasons.
-
Best new show of 08.
-
Original Apollo as the Final Cylon? Yea, that'd be messed up.
-
The very guy who's patched 'em up, given them advice and has always been there in the background is the final Cylon. Plus he's a great actor. Zarek should get some kind of heroic death though.
-
Who ever it is, its the best kept secret in TV for a while, thats for sure.
-
Please please please figure out how to record television and upload it to youtube without aiming your camera at the television. It isn't that hard people.
-
I'd bang her. She was a hot babysitter on "Dead Like Me".
-
I keep forgetting, how many sleeping pills is it to fall asleep now and wake up on Jan. 16.?
-
...and it's going to end. I hope. Spinoffs could spoil memory of the show but you just know that we'll be talking about the Galactica universe in years to come. After it's been raped and pillaged.
-
....in a UK magazine a few months ago, an actor let skip that the planet they were on WASN'T Earth, and that EVERYONE is a Cylon...tis true.
-
he let slip that EVERYONE ON EARTH were Cylons before it was abandoned/destroyed whatever.
-
you know its true. this show kicks ass!
-
that the final cylon is revealed as Adama's 'dead' son, Zak. How poetic would that be? Whomever it turns out to be, I am going to miss the Hell out of this show! Even the bad episodes were better than most of the TV I've seen lately (minus that Helo-centric episode last season. That just plain sucked!).
-
Because I sure as hell don't. I keep forgetting that the show isn't already over. The last interesting episode was in the first half of season three: since then it's been "blah blah blah cylon final five bullshit blah blah."
-
not really.
-
So say we all.
-
Hence, they probably have her plugging it on Canada's "Space" channel because she is Canadian (and probably easily available to them), not necessarily because she has anything further to do in the show.
-
Well?
-
Like that faceoff at the wall wasn't hot.
I expected Starbuck to lick Kats face any second. -
My vote for final Cylon BOXIE and his monkeybot.
-
This has to be one of the best written toons to hit geekdom in a while. Bader's Batman is dark and funny.
And best of all it suggests he makes it up as he goes along and isn't a supergenius.
-
That would explain why her and Tyrol's baby isn't as important - it's 100% Cylon, not a hybrid like Hera. Although have we ever seen Cylon babies??
-
We can only hope that one day the U.S. has a science fiction channel like SPACE (and I have been for quite some time).

This, Lost a week later, and maybe, just maybe a good 24 season. Can this be the solution to the Recession?>

You wrote: "That would explain why her and Tyrol's baby isn't as important - it's 100% Cylon, not a hybrid like Hera. Although have we ever seen Cylon babies??" Actually, if that were the case, that would make their baby ten times more important than as Hera, because Cylons weren't able to reproduce. Then again, if Tigh and Six can have a child, I suppose it IS possible that Callie is the final Cylon. Hmmm.
-
Or The Frack, as they would be called in Galactica.
-
Glad this played-out bit of nonsense has helped to sustain interest in a increasingly silly show. I'm hoping the last 10 episodes returns us to first-season greatness.
-
I refuse to spend YEARS waiting for the end of the final season. The only show SciFi has and they fucked it up by scheduling it goofy. Nicely done!
-
Lee Adama.
-
Listen to her interview. She says "I'm proud to HAVE BEEN a part of this show, and I look forward to watching it with everyone else" (sic). This means she is NOT in it, they just approached her for an interview. She's remarking on her excitement and promoting, but this does not prove a thing about her being in the show.

They probably got her because she was the only one available
by prof. pop-cult
Maybe the other actors are busy with other acting gigs. Plus, she's in Vancouver, so she's probably close to the Space studios. Space might not have the budget to fly any of the other actors in from LA.
-
As to why would she be plugging the final 10 episodes? Easy, because it's a job, and she doesn't have one any more. After all this is an actress who for the most part only had very minor "canadian walk on" guest starring roles pre-Galactica, and hasn't had a job since Galactica, so promos and the convention circuit roundabout help pay the bills I'd imagine. She's kinda like the BSG version of Chase Masterson, only less hot.
-
you DON'T come back to the show!
-
That was fucking awesome.
-
the only logical and emotional choice.
-
are in Toronto, and BSG is filmed in Vancouver, so they have access to all the cast at some point. Even though it is a bit of a trip, Canadian TV channels are able to fly across the country to get an interview. Its not like we're Antarctica. But it will be amusing when us Canadians see her in a frebreeze commercial or something lol
-
they tell you who the final cylon is in that episode. it is kinda lame the way the do it, though.
-
... Is it a reasonably respectable worth the wait choice? Or did you think it was lame?
-
Agreed.
-
Perhaps had you watched it instead of masturbating to photos of your mom when she was young... you would have known that.
-
The boxing episode was fine, shall we talk about a miner strike? That was fun wasn't it! Followed by a couple of episodes without battles or fly scenes...? Woopee. I'll watch the final episodes, but can't say that I really care anymore. Just like The Shield, I can't be bothered to wait 2 tot 2,5 years for 12/13 episodes.
-
Is really hot. I am also looking forward to the final episodes.
-
announcer on TV here in the USA. He reminded me of a developmentally disabled Seth Green. If I want to watch Canadian programming I can get more than I ever wanted over on HGTV. That said, cool BSG preview.
-
No matter how "bad" the series finale is, I will be an absolute wreck that night. Never has a show drawn me to such a conclusion, regardless of how "retarded" that conclusion is.
-
She's a sexy woman. I wonder if she'll appear in American television like Tahmoh (sp?) or will Canada keep her all for itself?
-
...seriously, did I mention fuck Lost?
-
I still don't get why that episode is mentioned as some sort of nadir of the series. It's a good episode with some great character beats. My only complaint is that it didn't really "resolve" the Apollo/Starbuck relationship which, afterwards, got dragged out a little further than it should. As for "bad" episodes, I always thought BLACK MARKET and A DAY IN THE LIFE were the series' low points. But unlike other shows, BSG has always been capable of rebounding from its weaker episodes with remarkably strong and memorable ones.
-
is lame. I know it's old; it just occurred to me how out of step it is with the tone of the series. Here's hoping BSG gets back on track this season. I don't want to feel like I'm doing homework when I'm watching it anymore.
-
well they reveal it but they don't quite explain it in the first episode that i saw. it's left as a major reveal cliffhanger, but it doesn't quite make sense in the frustrating way BSG has been doing all of their reveals since the end of season 3. they tell you who but not how or why(like they did with the other 4 and the return of starbuck or the finding of earth), so you're left once again with even more questions unanswered than when you started. It's amazing how Moore and company can keep doing that again and again and keep me watching.
-
I'm watching as a reminder not to buy the Season 4 DVD (2 different sets again, I imagine). It's been kind of dopey ever since they left New Caprica.
-
While I'd love to see both FARSCAPE and FIREFLY return in some form, it would seem that both are gone for good.
BSG jumped the shark...

Can't wait for Farscape to come back! Now there's a show that got better with every episode
-
....I cheered when she was thrown in the airlock.
-
If Cally's back, she would likely be found somewhere on Earth, which would be very intriguing.
-
...that airs tonight on FOX. They called it a 2 hour event before the season starts in January. Great news for Jack Bauer fans, but this is what BSG should've done, especially since it's the final season and all.
-
It's not that surprising that the actress would return considering that Tyrol is a Cylon and every other Cylon (and Baltar) has been known to have the occasional imaginary conversation with a loved one.
As for who the final might turn out to be, Xena said they weren't among the fleet. Assuming we can take her at her word, that means it's none of the regulars. Now a friend came up with an awesome suggestion as to who it could turn out to be. I don't know how it could possibly be explained but it seems like the character who'd bring about the optimal amount of drama in the optimal number of main characters would be if Zack turned out to be the final Cylon. think about it. He's not in the fleet and his return would fuck up Adama, Apollo, and Starbuck. -
Well, there have been FIREFLY comics, but there's no return of the show in the works. I'd love to see FARSCAPE return as a live-action show, but i'm doubtful it would happen. Still, one can hope!
-
...shot J.R.Just saying.
-
Black Market was truly a throw away, filler episode with no point and no value. The boxing ep was a high character content episode, but did not have 'splosions for those who deem them an essential part of any "good" thing.
-
I see two general possibilities for Cally to appear in the last 10 somewhere:the obvious one has already been mentioned--flashback sequences. The other is a bit of a stretch, I think: they have hinted at reunions with loved ones after death (the ferry sequence) and the redefinition of what death actually means (hinted at endlessly from downloading to the Maelstrom), so there could be an element of death/reunion/death-was-not-the-end to the final episode. But I didn't take the promo bit here to be a given that Cally will appear at all.
-
...have Adama carry a Jack Sack and say DAMMIT a lot.Seriously, though, Hubert-Free is correct: why no fall movie event as was discussed so many months ago--were there not to be as many as 3 of them in work?Smart Money says SciFi Suits effed up the whole thing, as they do with everything else they touch. Probably decided the money was best spent on more wrestling and mansquito-movies.
-
Dirk Benedict. (As a new character, but it would still be kinda cool.) I do like the Zack idea a couple of posters have put out there. An idea that no-one has presented (as far as I know) is that Earth itself is the final Cylon. Not sayin' it's a great idea, but it's interesting to think about.
-
Led Zeppelin. Yes, the whole group is, in fact a single Cylon. Or perhaps one member of the band. It would explain the seemingly way-the-frak-out-of-place use of their song.
-
um, what? you got to be kidding. out of context, maybe (maybe...) not so good as a standalone, but as a piece of character exploration and drama within the context of the series it fucking rocks.
-
"All Along the Watchtower" is a Bob Dylan song.
