Mitch Hurwitz’ Deal Closes For ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT: THE MOTION PICTURE??

“Arrested Development” mastermind Mitch Hurwitz has reportedly closed a deal to write and direct a big-screen version of the sitcom “Arrested Development” for Fox Searchlight. For those unfamiliar, the TV show followed a wacky family of real estate developers. No word yet on whether the project will be able to lure back big-deal movie star Michael Cera (“Superbad,” “Juno”), who played George Michael Bluth.
