Dude's a fine actor and needs to be in more stuff...

However, I don't think a movie about a blonde haired blue eyed white dude killing Mexicans is such a good idea...

Who is Aaron Eckhart's manager? I'm guessing it's the same guy that got him the lead role in The Core.

    by stalkeye

Lame ass joke. Something jay Leno or Bill Maher would say.Anyway the premise has a "been there, done that"feeling. For instance that idea is already used in the PS3 game Resistance 2.Aaron has potentual but not for this kinda movie.

This confirms he will never be an A-List actor.

    by leafar the lost

Sorry, Eckhart, but you will never join the ranks of Tommy Cruise, Tom Hanks, John Travolta, and Jim Carrey. You will never be able to open a movie just with your name on it. You will never become a 20-25 million dollar man. By the time they actually begin filming Captain America, Chris Pine will get it. Sorry, Aaron, but the downward slide of your career has begun...

only you still feels the need to put the name of the last film an actor has done like this was Entertainment Weekly or something. Really?!? Aaron Eckhart was in The Dark Knight?!? Wow. Thanks for the update. I love it when Vern takes that stupid habit & mocks it in his reviews. Speaking of which, where is Vern anyway? Did you guys fire him? (you know after not paying him, that is?) I would have thought he would have had a kickass JCVD review.

    by cherryvalance

so I'm sure I'll see it, but come on, how many times can we be invaded already? I think the illegal alien thing would have been more interesting. Or how about space aliens who settled in Mexico and then crossed the border illegally? I'd see that twice.

At least it's not a sequel/remake/reboot/"reimagining"/based on a novel. I'll always applaud something original these days. Even if the concept itself isn't.

    by jelaltrueshot

I think that as long as it is done realistically in terms of keeping with RTFA/MOUT tactics and stays away from the War of the Worlds over the top crap it could be good. A non-campy US vs Aliens war movie. I have hope.

    by spider99

I think this is Sony's way of giving Microsoft the middle finger. If you read the script, it reads almost like a movie version of Gears of War (which I understand is also getting made). So this is Sony's way of beating them to the punch!
