Parker Posey to SCREAM 3
Yessssssssss!!!! Alright!!!! Well, hell... damn Dimension folks! I love Parker Posey, and I just hope she's gonna be a female geek from hell. I could just see her spouting of the dialogue and making it her own. YES!!! Ok... Maybe... just maybe I might be reinterested in this project. Hell, anything with Parker Posey just rocks!
Sorry folks, I have this spontaneous urge to just get giddy at the mere mention of Parker Posey's name. She is one of my favorite actresses working in film today. Always alive and fresh and electric. Boy oh boy, I'm excited about this one! Though... the story that The Hollywood Reporter ran claims the film is more 'spoof than horror'... I don't know... Maybe if they just take it WAAAAAY over the top ala EVIL DEAD 2 or DEAD ALIVE... but ya know... there is that 3rd film curse... I swear there had better not be any Ewoks in this one!

Hmmmm, as much as I hate to, if Parker Posey is involved, I may have to revise my opinion of this movie, which was that it will almost exactly but not quite fail to please. Parker Posey is one of my faves too! I would add to the recommended movie list: Party Girl. I guess the only word I can use to describe her is "unpredictable" *grin*

At first, I was less than enthusiastic about this film, being no fan of the scream series, but this one could be interesting with a great cast and its new writing direction.

I am completely surprised, too! With her in it, I may also rethink Scr3am 3. Love her stuff. Besides the others posted, I would add two supporting roles she played in Eric (the God) Stoltz movies. She was electric in both "Sleep With Me," and Noah Baumbach's magnificent "Kicking & Screaming."
BTW I love Chief Chirpa. It's Logray that I have a beef with. -
Ahh, dammit. I'm really trying not to give a damn about this movie. Really trying. Not succeeding, but trying. Common sense tells me to avoid this flick as if it were a rabid dog with a hormone imbalance.. But.. But.. Something deep within me yearns for it. Needs it. Craves it. I reckon that bastard Craven has been slipping crack in his celluloid again. It's the only rational explanation.

Wicket W. Warwick was always my favorite ewok! Did everyone see The Phantom Menace? Someone told me the actor who played Wicket had a cameo, but I didn't spot him. TPM rocked though!

first of all you've got to remember that Harry Loved You've got mail, and you know what I kinda enjoyed it too, but you have to be a sucker for the ol romantic comedy, which Harry and I both are, but that's just an aside as Parker didn't play a romantic comedy part, she played the part of the bitch and she did it ownderfully. I don't hear anyone complaining about Steve Zahn in You've got Mail, hell Parker and Steve were the only reasons I went and saw You've got mail but I digress, anyway it looks like the Scr3eam cast is shaping up well adn I don't know about the rest of you but the guy working with Willimenson, damn me I can't think of his name, he's a good writer so who knows how this will shape up, should be pretty good though

Take out all the Ewok scenes from Return of the Jedi and edit them together as a 20 min mini movie & it's still 100 times better than any Scream movie. In fact, Warwick Davis should have a cameo in Scream3 as Leprecan!

I love Parker Posey.I believe she was the only reason I watched that lame ass movie, "You've Got Mail".
"Clockwatchers", "Henry Fool" "Waiting for Guffman" and "House of Yes" were underated movies I loved, because of her!She is so fucking cool, I truly believe she is a movie star! Thanks Harry!

Why do people always worship actresses like Parkey Posey and Lily Taylor? Do they think that just because they are in tons of low budget movies it means they have more talent? Parkey Posey plays the same loud mouth bitch in every movie she does. She has all the subtlety of a prostate examination.

Yeah she's awesome. Scream 3 should stick to lesser known star and try to cast new actor/actress. The only well known actor that scream 3 should have is at the beginning of the movie where the famous star are killed off. Parker Posey is a perfect addition to the ever so sweet Scream-ology.

O.k, the cast for Scream 3 IS looking good, but do we really need another Scream? One was really good because of the way it used the failings of other horror films (i.e too many sequels) to give it a fresh look. Now Scream is going the same way, and entering the region of self-parady. Leave the franchise alone, and count your money

What a sad day it is!!! One of the truly great independent actresses to come along in a long, long time has finally SOLD OUT!!! First a part in a third-rate romantic comedy(You have mail) and now the thrid installment in a already tired teen slasher series!!! Let us all pray that this is not so!!

The only reason I clicked here was to see a pic of Posey, like the ones for those bitches in X-Men. What a letdown. As for Scream 3...I'll pass. Real horror movies are comeing back. I'll go see those.
