No, seriously, I want to know. Considering the poor-to-middling remarks I've heard about this film outside of this site, I really hope that Ain't It Cool at least got some decent money for its relentless shilling of Sex Drive. I have zero problem with them making the occasional buck; it's obvious that everyone here works hard. I only have a problem if they've done all this promotion for free.

I live it off. This is hardly a problem, as I can EASILY ignore this. It was just a comment with some exageration to make the point of how I despise stupid Hollywood studios marketing plots. To me, the whole "x minutes online" is, basically put, stupid. BESIDES! You can find the first 100 minutes of this crap online... on Pirate Bay or torrent.

now I know this movie is bad. I'm not a movie snob at all, I enjoy a lot of different films, good and bad, but this movie is just recycled shit. I'm glad I always trust my instincts.

Yeah it was only 10 minutes but there wasn't anything there that made me think it olooked like anything other than every other teen sex comedy.

and I loved it. It's not going to be THAT much of a classic but it does take some pretty unique turns that make it a little bit different than most sex comedies these days.

"OMG, it's got bewbs and curse words!" I mean, I liked "Superbad" just as much as the next guy, but 99 out of 100 "sex comedies" are total failures. The ads for this are so obnoxious, "2008's Superbad!" Fuck you, I liked 2007's Superbad. I don't need to see a new take on it 12 months later. Why not just call it "Superrbaaad" and call it a reimagining.

It definitely surprised me, funny as hell. Haven't laughed that consistently since Superbad. if you couldn't appreciate that one you wont like this either.
