UPDATED! One more exclusive pic of Quinto as Spock plus all the other TREK images gathered in one place!

Merrick here...
Yahoo Movies has two more pics - one featuring a full shot of the USS Kelvin (we saw a close-up of it getting the shit kicked out of it in the images gathered below), the other is a good look at Chow as Sulu. Be sure to read the captions below the pics; Yahoo spoke with Kurtzman and Orci about them and they shared some interesting insight. You can find all of this HERE. When you get to the page, look for the "next photo"" tag above the introductory image & off you'll go!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Harry posted a still from JJ Abrams' STAR TREK yesterday and gathered links to all the pics that were released online in the TREK Blitz kicked off by Entertainment Weekly's big cover story on the movie. It's weird to have so much hit at once after so many months of secrecy. Anyway, the lovely Esther Chen at EW asked me if I wanted to post an "outtake" picture of Zachary Quinto as Spock, so I figured this would be a great opportunity to premiere that and gather all the images together in one view. I actually much prefer the "outtake" photo of Quinto to the one they used on the cover, but maybe that's just me. Here's the pic (click to make big)!

And I'll run the other Trek Pics below. Make sure to click on them to visit the sites of origin for bigger versions. And also, lest we forget, here's Entertainment Weekly's story that kicked this all off!

Gotta say, the Bridge is weirding me out, but not necessarily in a bad way. I think of the group, the surprise seems to be Karl Urban as Bones, who somehow in these still images captures the character. We'll have to wait and see what everybody does when we see some actual, moving scenes, but it's a delicate balance. We want something true to the original, something that does justice to the original cast, but mimicry won't cut it either. For now, I guess we take Harry's word on it since he's the only one I know of outside of the production who has seen footage. Alright, off to go interview George HW Bush... or, more appropriately for this article, Dr. Zefram Cochrane! Live long yadda-yadda-yadda.
