‘If This Van’s A-Rockin’, I’m Bein’ Murdered!!’ Hercules Endorses Tonight’s PUSHING DAISIES!!’
SPOILER ALERT !!
I am – Hercules!!
Yikes! I saw tonight’s episode weeks ago and I’ve been so busy with the fall season I completely forget we get fresh “Daisies” tonight!
To the best of my memory:
Young Ned ruins a field trip.
Olive befriends a pig, to hilarious effect.
There’s a very dark metaphor about an abandoned fridge.
Chuck outwits a teen Emerson could not outwit.
Hayley McFarland, who co-stars in Diablo Cody’s upcoming Showtime series, plays a teen runaway.
The ubiquitous Rachael Harris, who without her eyeglasses reminds me a lot of Julia Duffy, plays the runaway’s mom.
8 p.m. Wednesday. ABC.

this show is so messed up, but so damned funny!
-
with stilts on stretchers are even funnier.
-
Man, there are so many reasons to love this show.
-
Damn she fine! I can see why the Pie Maker is so darn frustrated!
-
The dead clowns (especially the one with stilts), the mime corpse that tried to mime while dead, everything Olive, and Emerson's "LOVE IT." This show is on fire. Don't like how they abandoned the cliffhanger with Ned's dad, though. I mean, I know they'll get to it, but I was expecting something in this episode. Oh well, this show is pure genius, so I'll let it slide.
-
She absolutely looks like Julia Duffy. Great show tonight, Really well written.
-
Really tight script and hilarious dialogue! A+
-
Am I the only one who thought that the main storyline was a bit slow? The parts with Olive and Lilly were great, but way too far and few. The main "mystery" was just not keeping my attention...
-
that whole scene had me rolling on the floor.
-
for next week's episode!"I'm Father Dowling... and this is Father Mulcahy and Sister Christan."Oh, this show is awesome. I hope it does a bit better in the ratings tonight.
-
Dammit, not "Christan."
-
Its hard to pick just one.
-
...but I really can't express how much I love this show. Real characters, who I really care for, in a world that is completely unrealistic. It definitely evokes more emotion out of me than any other show currently on the air. Its funny, its deep, its romantic, its compelling. As much as I love my hyper serious shows (LOST, BSG, and to a lesser extent HEROES) its just so nice to have a light hearted show that keeps you coming back week after week.
-
I have to admit it... even the music makes me feel a bit happier, especially when it gets a touch louder and climactic at the very end of an episode. That theme kicks ass.
-
this show can't survive on a broadcast network. It's probably expensive to make, well written, and polarizing. It is a turn off to those who don't appreciate a certain level of whimsy, even if is well done. My mind did wander to other thoughts when I saw how easily Chuck's wardrobe could have malfunctioned while they were running around the circus at the end.
-
completely unrealistic?
don't know about you, but they have pies and bees and clowns in our world too. okay, i don't have the power to resurrect via touch, but i do control the weather by means of mental powers. -
It gives me a grin again and agin
-
pushing daisies might be my favorite show on currently. (well, once the shield ends)
-
Reminded me why I love the show, despite what I thought was alackluster episode. What was up with Chuck's hair last night. She looked atrocious.

Dammit! Dammit, Dammit, Dammit! How much liquor is stored around that place? Oh, and 'Pigby', brilliant! Also, the through of a crappy circus jut made me laugh the whole time. "I think that human cannonball was meant for us!"
-
I thought the preview featured "I'm Father Mulcahy and this is Sister Christian.." But classic just the same. I think Chi McBride and his facial expressions are one of the unsung heroes of this show. And love how this show gives my HDTV a workout week in and week out.
-
It's like "Twisted Storytime Theatre". Oh, and Emerson's my dawg.
-
"It's hard enough being in a relationship where we can't touch, but we improvise, figured out ways around that. I've even built contraptions". I am so turned on right now.
-
and back into her low cut Pie Hole mini dress.
Kristin Chenoweth is about 90% of why I watch this show.
The writers should have had Olive hide out at a strip club or a Brazilian Beach.
