Along the same lines as the CLERKS 2 webisodes which preceded that film's release, Kevin Smith & Co. are launching a series of web installments chronicling the making of ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORONO.
A teaser (featuring Smith and Seth Rogen) for this is already online, and...if I understand correctly...the first actual installment will appear later today/tonight.
As of last night, it was unclear whether these webisodes would be backlogged on the site as they're released...so it's probably best to see 'em as they're issued.

I love most of what Kevin Smith has done. Jay and Silent Bob had good and bad moments. (Main plot was terrible, but the in-jokes were pretty funny). Jersey Girl was ham-fisted at moments, and genuinely good at others. But I love Clerks, Mallrats, Dogma, his stand-up DVDs, his books, and especially Chasing Amy. Frankly, I can't wait for this. I bet even the haters go to see some skin.

Yeah, Seth Rogan and the hot girl from Spider-Man find out that they really love each other and that releasing a porno movie that shows them expressing their special love is wrong so they don't do it and Jay and Silent Bob come in and they write them a check so that they can save the farm and they use it to cure cancer and...fuck... Smith, you don't do warm and fuzzy well. When you're not making films about guys wanting to fuck each other and guys raising babies you're twice the comedy filmmakers the Apatow guys are. Don't hitch your wagon to those jerkoffs. I for one want to see Mallrats II: Mall Harder.

Kevin saw and I'm sure. That Judd was having smash hits very similar to his humour. Yet Kevin wasn't nailing it.
While Kevin was mucking around with Jay and Bob strikes back and Jersey Girl. Judd was sewing the seeds for his awesome comedy run.
Kevin knows this so Zack and Miri is his retort to Judd.
Guess what. This movie will be his biggest box office hit because of it. -

This doesn't look too great, but it's getting good reviews, and you can never tell with the way trailers and tv spots are cut. Seriously, I've been meaning to bring this up, what's with the Clerks II hate? I wasn't big into reading movie news and reviews when it came out, I thought it was probably his 2nd or 3rd best, behind or tied with Chasing Amy and Dogma, respectively.
