The New Trailer For Luhrman's AUSTRALIA Has Shirtless Hugh, Hot Nicole, Bunches Of 'Splosions, And Tons Of Pretty Pictures!!

Published at:  Oct 01, 2008 8:56:34 AM CDT

Merrick here...

Just like the headline says, here's a new trailer for AUSTRALIA.

HERE!!!

So far we've received mixed-to-positive word of mouth regarding earlier cuts of this film - although something tells me this'll end up being pretty cool in classically themed & archetypical sort of way.

AUSTRALIA hits in late November.

Which makes this trailer awesome by default. Film looks great too, a good old fashioned epic. Oh btw, I watched it at traileraddict, cos this link is wrong.

Isn't the line from Mohichans actually "No matter what occurs, I will find you" ?

And really, what else is someone supposed to say in that situation? "Stay calm, I'll... well I won't find you because that line's been used... I'll... look for you a bit... and then when I finish looking you'll be in front of me."

You can't go on early cuts of Baz Luhrman films.

    by amy chasing

The man is notorious for making changes to his work right up to the release date. I'm sure alot of the people he works with are perfectionists in their own right - well, he's like them only more so.

But still, at least once he's done with a film - it's done. No director's cuts needed when you get it released right the first time.

    Looks Epic!

    by ang_lee

This guy Baz makes movies that just feel different and that's refreshing. I swore I would never watch a musical (besides Grease), it's even hard for me to sit through the Disney crap movies because they are so heavy with the tunes, but Moulin Rouge BLEW ME AWAY! And this movie seems to give off that 'it' factor. I hope I'm right.

Baz is as straight as Tom Cruise, so stop knocking him

    by paulseta

I mean, would a gay man hang out with Hugh Jackman? Would a gay man make a musical? Would a gay man do a Romeo and Juliet take with angel wings and an angelic male boy/star? No. The reason is that art takes precedence here.
Would a gay man do a ballroom dancing movie? Of course not. Would a gay man be difficult to work with? Not on your life.
There are so many more reasons why Baz isn't gay, so just *leave Bazzany alone!*.

    by caruso_stalker217

I agree. That Kidman is as phony as they come. I remember when I was a kid and BATMAN FOREVER came out. It was the first movie I'd seen Nicole Kidman in. I thought she was hot stuff. Then I found out that she was Australian and that her American accent was fake, a ruse. I was shocked. I didn't know people could fake accents like that. A few years later I would watch an interview with Bob Hoskins and my young mind took yet another mighty blow. The hero of WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT was English! My God, were there any genuine people in Hollywood? At ALL?
I have since burned all of my BATMAN FOREVER and WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT memorabilia and buried the remains.
To this date I still masturbate regularly to Nicole Kidman.
