Jack Black To Star In BOURNE IDENTITY Takeoff!!
I am – Hercules!!
Jack Black is reteaming with “Kung Fu Panda” writers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger for a live-action Universal comedy about an amnesiac who washes up on a Cuban beach and assumes he’s a superspy – even though he’s really an accountant or something else not very superspy-like.
Animation vets Aibel and Berger also worked on Fox’s “King of the Hill” and the upcoming DreamWorks cartoon “Monsters Vs. Aliens.”

I just realized on an almost unrelated note that the Max Payne movie is PG-13. The stock market was down over 700 points yesterday, and today I hear about Jack Black's next piece of shit movie. Fuck me walking.

He's much more spry and flexible than he looks. Watch him in just about any movie he's in and you'll see him suddenly launch this beautiful straight-leg ballerina high kick. It's gorgeous.The haters can hate, but let me tell you something. I once went with Jack to a bar for a couple of hits of Jack to calm our nerves before a night of street brawlin'. All of a sudden, some dude at a table behind us said something about Jack's good buddy Kyle Gass. Big mistake. Jack turned around and glared at the man. Then, without a word, Jack's penis suddenly erupted out of his pants like a striking python, about the length and width of a four year old. It even sported little arms with fingers and fingernails like a sloth. And Jack's python penis grabbed the man with its little sloth hands, and punched the shit out of the man's testicles.Then it ripped him in half.

you're "worong"...look at the title of this post, for god's sake, it's a SENDUP of the Bourne movies/books.and not for nothing, but in that series, he thinks he's a normal guy, and finds out he's an assassin, not the other way around.

JB is hilarious. His 'tied to the tree' scene in Tropic Thunder was one of that films two hilarious scenes (Downey Jrs 'full retard' monologue was the other one). Oh yeah, Cruising was good too. See his cameo in "Jesus' Son" if you want to see a comic genius. And a great film too.

Couldn't agree more. I actually just saw Tropic Thunder last Thursday for the first time (meant to see it sooner, but the end of summer is always busy for me) and, God, it was HILARIOUS! I'm not usually a big Jack Black fan, but he was perfect in Tropic Thunder.

Lot of stuck up movie critics in this place. Ill watch it, what harm could it do. The idea sounds like it could be good done right. Jack Black is funny, and he doesn't play instruments in every movie like some in here bitch about. Bunch of babies.

Completely off the wall. Funny. Also, someone mentioned Murray's 'Man who knew too little'. In my mind, genius! Completely stupid movie at face value, but the screenplay is brilliant in the way everything anyone says can be taken two ways, hence why Murrays character can go through the entire film thinking its all staged. No one riffs better than Murray. And Molina as Boris the Butcher is great. Underrated in my book.

Almost all famous comedians follow the same arc: They're hillarious, they get old, they show up wierdly cast in some kind of prestige flick, they make several ok dramedies, they make another funny comedy and are hailed as having a come back, they make several unfunny family comedies, they make a few eddie-murphy style abominations which make the audience's eyes bleed, then they die in obscurity after ingesting tainted semen from a 7' tall red-haired chinese transexual. Steve Carrell jumped straight from hilarious to unfunny family comedies, so occaisional steps are skipped.

Kung Fu Panda is still the funniest CGI film this year. Wall-E is a masterpiece, but KFP managed to get that balance between comedy and a story with a moral that all your Madagascars, Ice Ages and even Shreks have been struggling to find.

Jack Black should be making a real The Fatties movie instead!
I used to find Black really annoying, mostly because a former coworker of mine was a huge fan of Tenacious D and kept quoting their lyrics. I'm over it now, and he was great in both Tropic Thunder and Kung Fu Panda (THE best movie of 2008!!) this summer, so I dont mind him anymore. But this sounds lame.
