Animated Fox Pilot GOOD VIBES, From PINEAPPLE EXPRESS Director David Gordon Green, Gets A Greenlight!!
I am – Hercules!!
David Gordon Green, who wrote and directed “George Washington” and “All The Real Girls,” just got a pilot presentation greenlight for the Green-scripted “Good Vibes,” a proposed Fox animated comedy about teen surfers in California.
Green also directed the smash marijuana comedy “Pineapple Express,” scripted by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

Green is such a talent. See "SNOW ANGELS" if you haven't. Amazing! Only second to "Wall-E" this year so far.

Hopefully, it'll remove that yucky aftertaste from Pineapple Express.

Snow Angels was an excellent film, probably the best I've seen in quite some time. Also, Pineapple Express wasnt bad at all, and its missteps I think you can hardly blame on Green, as most of that was on Rogen and Goldbergs meandering dialogue. Anyhow, this could be interesting, and I'm really curious to see how Green will work with animation.
